Yeah that is what our fields look like. I forgot to say. I finally hired a maid for Thursday to help me. It is the neighbor girl, she will be going into 7 th grade next year. She planted our garden. I learned recently that cabbages, broccoli, and cauliflower are basically all the same plant. (Brassica oleracea...kale, collard greens, Brussel sprouts, too.)

Vinegar is the best in setting the color on new fabric and magenta bleeds the worst. So use vinegar to your hearts content it is also an antiseptic too. It can be used to clean garden tools to keep from spreading fungus and microbiotic organisms. Also home surgical tools tweezers, scissors, or after sharpening a safety razer blade. You might consider using for a wedding for decorating white fabric called tobacco cloth it a littel more solid yet sheer, very inexpensive.
I think your railing is going to be great. That was very nice of the person to give y’all tea. The bread is gorgeous. I wouldn’t mind making cakes if I had so many helpers lol. Not sure who helped you but that was awfully nice of him. Maybe once you stain them, try a clear coat and see if that will hold the stain. I’m not sure. Your vlogs are never long nought. I did clear coat them with specific outdoor varnish/clear coat and the sun has baked it off and is now going after the colour, but that's ok if I have to I will stain them again and I guess really I should. 🙂
Hi Giselle, it’s a cold windy day today here too , we planted our cole crops on Monday , we got our flowers today from the colony greenhouse, but I’ll wait till it gets warmer to put them in my pots

One thing about putting vinegar in your washer, I’ve done that and it ruins the elastic on anything you wash like underwear , just so you know at least that happened to mine!!

They do seem to be especially bad.
I have you to thank for being the final motivator I needed to start using vinegar in my laundry. I never believed it would be good because vinegar doesn't exactly have a pleasant smell (and no one wants to smell like that), but you convinced me to try it and I'm not going back!!
For the ticks, I buy the spray "OFF" and spray my legs and ankles. It works!
ahh I never thought of that, it's the first thing that comes to mind with mosquitos, thanks for that.

@@gisellewaldner9406 there are several essential oil tick sprays floating around. Often similar to the mosquito, flea, or lice combinations.

Lovely video. I would have never thought to sew petals to make a 3D flower. I’m sure that will be very beautiful. I like the idea of each guest getting their own individual wedding cake. I’m almost always gluten free but I’ll suffer for wedding cake. They thought I had celiac but I carry two genes but no biopsies showed positive. So they said avoid gluten. One little bit of wedding cake won’t do much and it would be so worth it!!! I looks so beautiful where you live. God bless and have a great week💕!

I always add vinegar to the rinse cycle instead of fabric softener. Not so much chemicals. I also have a machine called a Laundry Pro, which is sold by my son and it lets me not have to use laundry soap.
I ditched detergent years ago and just let the water do the work. Use vinegar occasionally and hang dry. Took about 3 washes to get the excess detergent out, but now our clothes stay much cleaner without anything to stick to. And less mood swings in myself and my teenagers. Less dizzy spells for me too.

How hard it must be for a girl who loves her family and community so much to know that if she marries someone from another colony she will have to leave her family and move to another colony. I know that is how it should be, same as in the “ English” world when a couple moves to their own place, but somehow it seems to me it would be harder for Giselle.

How do you use the vinegar for laundry? What concentration does it have? Vinegar is much cheaper than the disinfecting detergent i use, and it removes limescale. I just dont want to have my laundry smell like vinegar.
Add essential oil, whatever scent you like. I use rosemary and lemon
Add it to the vinegar then you won’t smell it. 3or4drops
Also do u have health inspetors like we do in the states for your kitchen

How do we know that why did she get baptised. I would love if she did as long it was someone from her own colony. Then we get to keep her with us, there's two men I've seen her friendly with and they seem nice, but at the end of the day that's Giselles business. But I don't want to say goodbye to her I want her to stay with us, we love her far to much and kona.
I’m from southern MB. We have had a lot of rain.
For a mennonite wedding take up to 1 year and 6 months.frist the groomer and bride have to go find land to build a Mennonite home and build a Mennonite farm and buy farm animals that take 6 months then bride take 3 months to pick out furniture to have in the home the last 3 months is for the groom and bride parents to do all the wedding decorations with the help the mennonites community. That's how long it took for my wedding. I'm a Mennonite I married my husband who is Amish. We had the mennonite and Amish community helping out with the wedding decorations and all the food and drinks and dressers and making of the bride dresses and bonnet and all the wedding party dresses and bonnets and the groom clothes all by hand.

I love your videos, they are so wholesome and calming and peaceful this world and I love the videos I actually like the communal thing and everyone pitching in and everyone getting things done together and the I don't know if you would say religious cuz I don't really like to put my Christianity in that category cuz you can say anything is religious you know Witchcraft and you know Satanism and and all that what kind of stuff you can say is religion but I don't I don't want my Christianity mixed up in that pot in that cauldron so to speak so I don't say I'm religious I say I'm a Christian and I love love love love love love love love love love the old hymns my grandpa was a southern Missionary Baptist preacher and his voice was booming and Powerful it was like God speaking right through him but I just I love the of the life that goes all the way through everything that you all do I love it people talk about alcohol now my grandpa used to take a shot of whiskey to help thin his blood but it was for medical use he wasn't out getting drunk and I think if it's for medicinal purposes I think it's okay I don't think that that took away from him as a preacher that's one of God's chosen to relay his messages and I believe my grandpa is in heaven with Jesus and God and all the angels and his loved ones that made it to Heaven because not everyone does and that's the sad part but everyone has their own choices you know but I just love your community and your videos they're so uplifting and they do help my spirit
