Vlog #42 Dealing with loss

- Its been quite a week, Monday was just like any other day I was woking on projects but, just like that on Tuesday we got hit with bad news and my planned week spiralled out of control.
everything can change in a second and this is how I tried to deal with things.

Young lady you put together the most unusual and moving videos I have ever seen, how you manage the daily emotions that assail us all at some time in our lives is both enlightening and uplifting, oh and yes the hymn.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Giselle, it's ok not to be ok for a little while. Your sadness over the loss of a loved one does not diminish your faith. It's the way God made us. Be as gentle with yourself as you would be with others in their grief ❤
I love your dresses and would love to see all of yours and hear about clothing requirements for your community.
I am so sorry for your loss. Everyone deals with loss differently. I am old and have experienced much loss of those i love, including my mother and husband. So don't worry about what people think. You do what you need to do to deal with your grief.
It is in our suffering that we find God working the strongest. Peace be with you.

Your going to the funeral is probably your best option in dealing with your loss. It's a normal part of the grieving process. My belated sincere condolences to you in your loss.

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm watching this December 23, 2021, so just about a year later and yet the world sounds the same. We aren't in "lockdown" as we once knew, but things don't look great this year either. PS I live in Winnipeg. :) ( Just me and my husband, our 2 adult children have moved away. One to BC and one to AB) It's nice to see your life, even in the hard times.

So very sorry for your loss, my sincere condolences.... thank you for your complete honesty. I believe most people would understand the need to keep busy, and continue doing what is mostly natural to you now...including vlogging. It's become your daily "thing".
Having said that , also if you took a break from it at times that's understandable as well, life throws crazy Frisbees that cannot all be caught. I'm very sorry for your loss Giselle. The passing of a family member is the hardest. Turn to God and the comfort of His word. I agree with you about keeping your hands and mind busy. It does help. I'm glad you were able to go to your Aunt's funeral. It'll bring you closure.

Sending love and light to you and to your family. So lovely that you vlogged and shared your real life with us. Keeping busy is very normal and by sharing it others can see that too. Grief sucks and we all handle it the best we can! I garden like crazy when I'm grieving or just stressed. Might look odd from outside eyes, planting flowers etc, but it"s my therapy. Busy lets the brain not go on melt down and process all the emotions safely.

Enjoyed the video. Sorry for your loss. Glad you went to funeral. But if you didn't go we have to believe in Faith that she knew your heart and she saw your sorrow. I totally enjoyed the song and I sang along. So soothing. This virus has been very hard on us Native Americans because we have traditional ways to lay our people to rest. And we can't, like you only certain people allowed. Enjoyed the sewing lesson also. Being older my days are less active. This retirement makes me feel of no use. Grief is best worked out through keeping active I have found. I think how you are coping is very very normal. You are such a sweet heart. My sincere condolences to you. So glad you were invited and felt you wanted to go for your aunts funeral. Somehow funerals are just 'closure'.

I am relatively new to your channel and have been watching multiple ones a day because I enjoy them so much. I really enjoy the singing. We also sing accapella in our congregation so I always enjoy finding others that do the same. Just using the instrument (our voice) that God created is always so much prettier. I too wear only dresses and also a veil so I guess we have several things in common. Take care and God bless!
