I have an outfit I wear whenever I paint. I wash them without expecting the paint to come out and reuse them
I have the work clothes that are stained but clean, good until they get big holes.

Are the bride and groom both from your colony? Marriage is a lovely commitment. Sadly my first marriage did not work, however my 2nd husband was definitely the man for me for life. God leads us to what we need. Marriage is not plain sailing, but growing and changing together is amazing. 34 years on, I love my husband more now than ever, he is my one. Through thick and thin and cross words, we work at staying connected and married, because we are worth the work. X

I bought one of those weeder tools where you step on it and it pulls the weed out - really good for dandelions. Takes so much less time and effort. A good investment.

Simple sandwiches are amazing. My favourite is just a little butter on the bread , lettuce and tomatoe, and a dusting of salt and pepper. I am a vegetarian and dont eat a lot of dairy at the moment, it's started to disagree with my body. Good bread is essential and I do make my own sourdough bread.

Knives: Sharp side facing in to be polite. It's old, old thing. The sharp side out is offensive or something like that. 😊
Okay, I can see that making sense.
Now why are there so many different ways to put your knife and fork to signal "taking a break", "more please" and especially "I'm done eating". I think I have seen 3 different positions of knife and fork to say you are done and that the waiter can take your plate.
Why?😄
I have been taught "my plate isn't a rowing boat". A while back I saw "the rowing boat" was polite and good manners.
I'm lost now.
@frugaldutchmom1359 , 😆 I only know how the knife begins. Anything more, I'm at a $$$$$ restaurant or I've made friends w some sort of Royal somewhere. Of which, I'll be doing some googling prior to my dinner. 🫡🤭

I am wondering about you sitting beside your brother at a wedding related meal. Do families eat together at weddings? I thought usually the men and women were separated during meals.
Oh, and I liked the black and white dress that got messed up with paint during sign making. I imagined it must have had holes in it too, but the black and white pattern was flattering. Do you have another black and white dress to replace it?
