Hi Carlo here, I don't know, but I do it, maybe you should ask those people who asked me months ago; How can you bear to leave that wonderful home in Positano??? 😁😂😘👋
Because you really didn’t leave when you just take a pause then return, both places are amazing but I just love the constant wich is the relashionship of you two and all your family and friends. Love all that dinamic!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Aww, your dad is such a treasure. I loved seeing Carlo with his mom too! Thanks for incorporating these two very special people I to this week's video! ❤💙
Harry is truly a GEM! Agree! There are many books screaming to be freed from his lifetime of encounters!! Agree the Surrey area looked heavenly and so natural! The WORLD loves them both!!! (especially Carlo - ha!!)
As an 80 year old widow with two adult children I can tell you it means the world to me that my kids want to spend time with me and always seem to fit me in to their busy lives. So I can relate to Carlo’s mamma and Nicki’s dad. They are blessed! I love watching your weekly updates.❤
Nicki and Carlo both need to be inducted Into a sort of UA-cam Hall of Fame.. I can hardly wait for sunday to watch your excellent videos...love the editing and music and stories.
Your dad is such a lovely character. He looks well. So funny to see both of the doggos go with Carlo! Holly is definitely his baby, and Indie seems just happy to go with whomever is closest.
Love all your videos. The scenery is beautiful!! You are both doing a beautiful job on the Tuscany house. Hope all is well with your Dad, Nikki. Carlo is doing a great job cleaning up the Positano house. Love your family and of course the doggies. ❤ Linda from New Jersey, USA
Carlo is amazing. I've never seen a more hardworking, patient and selfless man as you. Hope all is well with your loved ones in Positano. May God bless you with every good thing from His hand and all the best.
That elevator is probably a godsend to many.for a while ha 2 homes 1034 mi apart, was mentally and physically exhausting as son did 2 notches below minimum and I was getting sick
I always look forward to seeing what you two get up to this week. Even if it’s just cooking, painting, or gardening it always feels like I am catching up with the family.
Nicki's dad is sweet. Carlo, the machine, getting Positano ship shape. You're a good daughter Nicki. I know that sweet man appreciates you coming to stay. Thank you for another great vlog guys! Bello, Bravo!!!
It was sad to see you leave Tuscany. I felt sorry for Carlo when I saw all the work he had to do to preserve the beautiful garden he created in Positano. It is heartwarming to see the love you have for your parents. Thank you for sharing your lives in your beautiful videos.
I too always look forward to seeing your Amazing father, they don't make them like him anymore, a real class act, soooo very nice that you are spending this precious time together. ❤️
So happy your dad is healing well and able to go for walks in nature. His story of been locked in the gardens made me giggle at his humour of the experience. I hope you have a wonderful time over in the UK. ❤
Carlo being so sweet to his mamma made me smile and the elevator will make it easier for her to go out which is so good for her. It's wonderful how you each care for your parents. I know you're both aware of how precious that time is.
Poor Carlos, having to spend hours clearing the yard and landscape. Surely some family/friends can help maintain the grass and trees while you're in Tuscany?? I loved seeing your Dad, he is such a character. 😊 I hope you can continue writing when you get back to Tuscany. Another book would be great! Thank you for taking us with you to England and Positono. I love seeing all the beautiful sites from my chair. Unti next Sunday, take care.
Glad you got reunited with your phone. The enforced digital detox probably gave you time to write. Hope your Dad continues recovering after his surgery. Carlos is busy catching up with the garden. Sundays are special with you both. Love from Scotland x❤x
Ah but such a sense of accomplishment and pride when all the work is completed. The Tuscany house and yard looks so different and more beautiful with all the finished work you both have done. Gradually bringing the overgrown Positiano garden back to its glory will be equally satisfying I believe. It's also a great way to de-stress imo. Thank you for another relaxing Sunday vlog.
I love your home in Tuscany. It just seems so calm and relaxing even though I know you both have been doing a lot of work on the house and land. Nicki, I'm so impressed with how well your dad gets around and how you are there for him when he needs you. The new elevator is very impressive, and hopefully, it saves all of you from climbing so many steps.
Nearly fell off my chair with laughter when Indy & Holly chose to follow Carlo. That's okay. We know they love you too. Blessings and well wishes to your families. 🫶
It's beautiful that the two of you take time in your busy lives to be with your parents. Nicki, accidently leaving your phone behind was a blessing in disguise. Thank you both for your hard work. We enjoy our Sunday mornings with the two of you. Have a good week!
I really appreciate seeing you with your dad. I lost my son 13 years ago when he was 40. What I would give to have a day with him again. You realize how important family is that is clear. It is also clear that you are a very loyaland supportive family member. That’s what it’s all about now that I have a little family left. I am moving into a senior living center because friends only goes so far. Especially when you’re 81. I hope you continue to have wonderful family connections, both in England and in Italy.
Your dad is precious, he reminds me so much of my dad who passed 5 years ago. I miss him every day, but I have such great memories of him. It helps to watch you with your dad, it makes me smile ☺️
You look like a princess and prince when you hug and kiss goodbye. How wonderful not to have a phone for awhile!!! You both have done so much on the houses. I am really amazed. Carlo …. buon lavoro di squadra ❤️
In the southern Caribbean island where I live, there are vans that pass by collecting old iron and metal. There is a song that the driver sings loudly on a megaphone that goes, “ Buying scrap iron, old battery buying!”😅 Isn’t it amazing that no matter where we humans are in the world the beauty of our similarities trumps our differences any day!🌺
England is so beautiful this time of year. I loved Dad's story about getting locked in the garden. At least he would have had veggies to eat if he had to overnight it😊
So easy to do, put your phone down and forget it! Then realise how much you miss it😅. Nice to see your Dad looking well Nicki, that was a fun story being locked in that kitchen garden! Thanks for showing us the elevator in Positano Carlo, a helpful addition for the people in Positano😊
Your dad looks well Nicki. It's wonderful that you can go spend time with him. What a beautiful park you were in, so serene! Loved watching Carlo with his mom. You can tell she really misses him. Your home in Tuscany is looking wonderful! Thank you for sharing your life with us💛
@@Nikki-sf6bs I have to chuckle a little at this young generation. They worry more about things beyond their control while paying no heed to life's essentials.
continued healing for your father...he looks good and moving well...got tired watching Carlo with so much work on the property in Positano...need someone to look after that when you are gone!!
Wonderful. We got to see the finished bedroom which was nice…whole house is nice in Tuscany. But there’s nothing like Positano and we’re so glad you take us there. I really enjoyed seeing Carlo clean up the yard because we’re all doing that right now and it’s so motivational and rewarding. How fun to go to three places in this video. Positano♥️🐠♥️ will always have my heart.❤
It looks like Hollie and Indie are daddy’s girls. 😆 😊😊 Thank you for another great Sunday. My weekend is never complete if I don’t watch your weekly videos.
The Birds of Paradise flowers are proudly guarding your Positano home garden. I love to hear your Dad tell stories of his experiences. The thought of being locked in a public garden at the end of the day does sound scary.
Loved hearing your dad’s stories! Beautiful garden! Beautiful garden in Postiano! Nice yard work Carlos! Glad you got some writing done! It’s amazing what we can get done without our phones!
I look forward to seeing you each Sunday. I too feel like you are family. I can understand the excitement and regret of leaving and going on to another place. Glad you got your phone back.
It’s nice to see that your father is doing well and you were able to spend time with him. Carlo you’re doing a great job and cleaning up the yard in Positano. Carlo, it was nice of you to spend time with your mother too. As parents get older, they definitely need their children more.
A similar thing happened to me being locked in. In Melbourne the beautiful grounds of an old church. I too was sitting on a chair when the security person locked the gates. The difference was the walls were not as high and a friend was on the other side coaxing me to climb up and heave myself over....let me say, I'm a 50+ year old unfit woman but somehow I managed to get over. I had put in a call to the church and the next day I had a very apologetic Priest on the phone. Thanks for the lovely video, as always, I feel soothed and warm inside. I do hope your Dad is well, Nicki. PS - I could watch Carlos in the garden all day long, he really is memorizing. And I don't just mean he is a hunk :)
Now you know the fun/ work involved with owning and keeping up two properties. Nikki’s walk with her Dad was beautiful. Loved the story about him getting locked in the gardens.
You father is such a great treasure. I once got locked in my own home as it was gated. My neighbors finally rescued me as they had a key to the iron gate that inexplicably malfunctioned. Quite panic producing. So glad you can spend time with your dad, and he is well. Someone has to say it, and I will. I was shocked that no one had looked after your beautiful garden! You once told us that if fed about 20 people in Carlo's family. You two shared that garden's abundance, and your work, with so many. What happened to the brother who lived upstairs? For those of us who have followed you since the beginning, it was heartbreaking to see Carlo and the pups in that overgrown mess. It was disrespectful of your years of effort. If there is no reasonable explanation, then "The Tuscan Diaries" will be just great. ❤️
Isn’t it crazy how much nature can take over when left unattended! Sad to see you leave Tuscany but excited to see you back in Positano! Also your dad is so adorable!
Seeing Carlo at work in the garden reminds me of all the chores there is to do every time we go back to Italy. We have to put the apartments in order, clean everything and do the shopping before we can enjoy the rest of our stay, but in the end it is nice to go back and once everything is done we can relax and enjoy. All the best to Nicki’s father and Carlo’s mom. 😊
So sweet, you are blessed with wonderful MEN in your life. Prayers for your family all around. They are just as lucky to have you. Love from the USA 🇺🇸

I left my phone in our hotel room in Poland one year. I was lost without it ! They were brilliant and sent it to me but it was a long stressful wait ! So nice to see your sweet Dad. Glad to hear he's getting better. Xx
It's clear how homes need ongoing care and it was sad to see the garden looking like that in Positano but nice how Carlo worked to revive it. Seemed like such a peaceful visit with Nicki's dad. It must be nice but a little disconcerting to have the best of three worlds!😮
Some years ago I was at a dentist appointment and had been seated in a chair, waiting for the dentist. It got very quiet and I got up to see what was happening - they had forgotten I was there and had locked up and left for the day! It was in the days before I had a cell phone, so I used a clinic phone to call for help. Needless to say there were plenty of red cheeks all round! 😂
Oh, I can so relate to your dad’s story! My three year old and I once got locked in a secluded bathroom at a doctor’s office. (Long story!) It took hours for someone to find us! It was in that bathroom that my son learned to count to 100, as we counted the bathroom wall tiles over and over while we waited for help to arrive! It’s funny now, but it sure wasn’t then! 😃
I always love to listen to the stories your dad wants to share. It's like we are right there with him- this time being locked in the Kitchen Garden, and eventually freed again.
Your gardens are so beautiful at both of your properties and in the surrounding areas. Loved your Dad's story of being locked in the garden. Just imagine if it was before everyone had a cell phone. Glad you were able to locate yours and have it shipped to you. We have come to rely on them in such a short period of time. Thank you again for taking me to a place of beauty, calm and peace. No words can express how nourishing to my soul it is. God bless.

God bless.
