In reality that is CAA/IATA regulations being strict as well as BA being one of the strictest airlines, those straps are good for more like 6 years+. 70 quid for straps that'll last 7 years and a score for ring bolt rails that'll last the life of the vehicle or killing a mother and her 2 kids because to save a few quid... do the right thing. 19:59 that vehicle should be seized/confiscated from the driver/owner - that driver has no right to be driving that car on U.K. roads, as it’s impersonating a police vehicle, already a serious offence, even if it’s an American import - in fact, the driver should have been arrested and faced a stiff jail term for impersonation of a police vehicle
It's on the MIB database. If you are not insured then that's the offence. It's not, five days to catch up, it's five days to provide proof that your were insured at the time of the stop.
The penalties for driving offences are just not severe enough, especially where an accident involves a child, where the courts must take a far harder zero tolerance approach - most people driving today should not be on the roads and should not be driving, there is no need for them to be driving anyway and it’s also down to the fact that the standards of driver instruction and driver training is so poor - full licences must never be automatically issued without first having to undergo a driving test, where all full licence holders should be made to do a driving test every 6 months
The shear propaganda of these shows is laughable. They are far different from reality. In real life the standard of driving in the UK is atrocious and the police are nowhere to be seen and don’t care about reported crime. I’ve been doing a regular commute for several years on 3 or 4 A-roads and motorways. Not once have I seen a police car, but I’ve seen plenty of drug dealer stereotypes doing over 100mph though.

Only thing I really hate about the rules when coming to driving is the lack of road worthiness checks jeez can see some old bangers going about especially certain public transpo or trucks gosh
And if ever in an accident mostly it is delt with with parties involved with police / traffic enforcement agency and usually settled there
Also here if you get busted for an accident that cause serious harm to life or worse death the punishments tend to be quite harsh so that tends to keep people in check
