I feel grateful this reconditioning program ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxcJ22tnHH9l1vjdIdEIG27iOG55P7LXI8 was started. I had Three dead batteries scheduled for disposing of. Having said that, I tried out reconditioning them and it took me only an hour to do it! It doesn`t matter what type of battery you want, the process works.
nice job I look similar circuit bu I need a cut off at 12.4V , how do you program the chip?
the chip is powered at 5V do you use only linear regulator ? or a DC-DC convertor + linear regulator?
The difficult part for me is calculating the voltage drop of multiple loads at the instant they're plugged in.

well I get the need for the top board which I recognise as a ubiquitous low cost switching supply from eBay, Banggood or wherever but what is it driving? Presumably either an FET switched by a simple voltage sensor like a zener or a micro controller like an ATtiny xx. Obvious question then Steve ... where's the skwerkit (circuit) diagram? Please?! Thx.

Steve my apologies. I was looking everywhere but on the phone version of UA-cam, which is what I was using, you have to click to get to other information, unlike on the PC where it all follows on naturally. Yes neat idea and with the price of 8 pin mc chips being so low it probably costs less than more discrete component solutions. In my case though I'd probably go for discrete as I have so many components that need to be put to good use. 😎 Probably much easier to get the tight accuracy of the precise cut-out and cut-in voltages on an ATtiny.
yeah it's fine my one is working fine .." i used a buck converter in place of a liner voltage converter " because this only draws 1 mA . and liner draws 7-10 mA

Lead Acid batteries should never be taken lower than 50% discharge.
The battery voltage will sag under load, so you will need to research what voltage limit is safe for the load current you are using.
I usually disconnect at 12.2v

Writing the Attiny sketch such that it disconnects when Voltage is low 11,2V and also disconnect when the charge level is reached (ex.14.1V). In such way could it be used as overcharge disconnect as well if connected between charger and battery?

Shit. I need discharge at max 12.2 from 12.7. This one shorter the life of agm and gel batteries. They can do 1200 cycle if used drop max at 12.2. Your are not a skilled person. Thats for a small load.
