    This video is pretty different from my normal content but definitely one that I've wanted to make.
    Recently, I decided to quit caffeine cold turkey. For as long as I can remember i've had an addiction to Soda & soft drinks both high in caffeine & sugar.
    Drinking these drinks literally fuelled my day to day life & my body built up a dependence on them to make it through the day. My overall productivity started to suffer as I'd find myself in and out of peaks and troughs of energy & motivation.
    After joining a gym & finally wanting to get myself together, I knew that quitting caffeine (& sugar) would be a big part of the process. I decided that for me, weening myself off it wasn't going to work so I decided to quit immediately.
    The caffeine withdrawal symptoms I encountered lasted around 2 weeks & mainly consisted of drastically reduced energy levels as well as frequent & prolonged headaches, sometimes migraines. Also, just a general lousy feeling whilst my body was freaking out wondering where the caffeine went.
    Since then, My life has changed drastically - the main change being that my daily energy is maintained & consistent throughout the whole day, I don't have highs & lows. My sleep has improved, as soon as my head hits a pillow i'm out like a light! & now I naturally wake up bright and early, already full of energy ready to hit the gym for a morning workout. No more lying in bed too tired to get up after struggling to sleep.
    Overall, I just feel great. As a result my mood has improved & I'm a lot happier.
    I hope this video helps anyone else battling with caffeine addiction. It's changed my life in 1 month & I'm loving the change.

      That's great Rob, well done could'nt have been easy. I gave up with Coca Cola many years ago as it was damaging my stomache big time. But I'd find it really hard not having my morning Americano's, ok ok that run on through the day....Anyway that's very open of you to put it up on youtube. 😊

      Thanks John! I wish I’d given it up ages ago. There’s nothing wrong with having coffees or even the odd soft drink, it’s just for me it was getting too excessive. Thanks for watching!

      I’ve always had a pre-workout energy drink, had it everyday and have been on them for a few years. I’m on day 2 of total caffeine wipeout and I plan on never having pre-workouts or big amounts of caffeine again. I became totally dependent on them to have a decent workout. Onwards and upwards!

    I quit and it certainly has my thinking, behavior and attitude change for the better. One thing I didnt expect during withdrawal was the depression that was included. Your brain will heal and it won't be to long. Keep it up and you will thank your self in time 🙏

      I believe it's because of the overload of adenosine, which is a depressant (which makes sense because the primary purpose is to make you sleepy and go to bed)

    I'm coming up to one month caffeine-free and am experiencing all the positives Rob talks about. One unforseen benefit is that I'm eating healthier because I know I don't have coffee to fall back on for a quick energy boost. Imagine, relying on food for energy...

    i'm on my day 18 off caffeine. i realize that now i feel more inspired, my energy is coming back and i'm very motivated to play drums or trying trail running

    I quit caffeine for a month. My first cup of coffee after this I felt intense euphoria, a huge energy spike, and then a crash afterwards. I never experienced this when I was drinking coffee every day, like you said I just drank it to feel normal. Caffeine is a POWERFUL drug, but caffeine addiction is considered normal and acceptable in our society because it helps people cope with work life and poor sleep. We should all be cautious of any drugs we put into our body. Addiction, even to caffeine, creates a dependency which can affect all aspects of our lives.

    I've been caffeine free for a couple of weeks now. I feel so much better. I feel loose, I feel relaxed, and my anxiety feels like it's in check. It's such a relief.

    Day 3 of quitting caffeine and I have been very “panicky” and feeling of not being present. I was not expecting this at all. Used to drink Bang and or Reign twice a day. I will not give up!! Just ready to feel normal again.

    been a hardcore caffeine addict for 12+ years. My sleep and anxiety issues have worsened recently and I'm tired all the time so after realizing the connection it'd be crazy not to quit. Day 1, this is going to suck

      @@mryan4452 Yes. I still drink green tea but that's the only caffeine intake anymore. But no more coffee(I was drinking 5+ cups/day) = good quality sleep, improved digestion, more energy better focus and ability to enter flow state. The benefits are clearly evident and I'm never going back

      @@nikolaim4274 that's a big change, from 5 cups coffee, to drinking green tea. Much healthier and less of the addictive caffeine in it. I've gone cold turkey, but I drank 2 to 3 cups a day, so a little less. I'm only a week into it, but I've begun to notice better sleep and stomach feeling freer (difficult to describe). Still a little irritable as I'm still in drug withdrawal, but that should ease as time goes on. Like yourself, never going back to caffeine.

    Don’t do cold turkey. The headaches are too severe. Instead step the daily amount down until it’s a tiny amount, then quit.

      Tapering is easy way to relapse. It's better to just stop from the get go and bite the bullet for a few days.

      @@xFlared I’m afraid that for someone like myself, who was intaking over 900mg of caffeine per day for quite a while, cold turkey would knock me out for at least a week. Working would not permit for me to do so.
      I’ve been tapering down. I’m at 100mg per day now, and have been for a few days. I’ve had pretty intense back pain and a bit of spasms just from bringing it down from 300mg to 100mg.
      Overall, I feel better for most of the day, and the sleep is already better.

      @@lionatticus9743 Last summer my daily intake was 1300-1500mg/day. Mostly from energy drinks, energy drink powder and soft drinks.. Over the last year I have went through the reduction cycle 7 times. Reduction, withdrawal and relapse. Every single time. Once I got my caffeine intake down to 100mg/day this past month I decided to quit cold turkey. I quit Tuesday morning and have been going strong now. I've had a migraine since that same morning and got extremely sick Wednesday, but with support from my wife, my doctor and a lot of water I've managed to keep pushing. When you get to that stopping point you kinda just have to jump. And don't look back. It will really benefit the rest of your life.

    Great video! I am 48 hours without caffeine. I am drinking celery juice first thing in the morning. I feel decent until mid day, then the headaches and lack of energy begin. I have also cut back enormously on sugar. I found this video and your story has definitely inspired me to push through feeling horrible. Thanks so much

    One week today! Also four months sober and five months no nicotine/ weed. I've also gone like 95% vegan.... Not easy removing all this from my diet! I have days when I just want a glass of wine or a piece of cake but I feel great and I'm looking so much better so it's definitely paying off :)

      good job on quitting nicotine and weed and caffeine! being vegan is fine but I would recommend maybe having a quality piece of grass fed beef once per week because their is good proteins in beef

      @@Italiana72787 don't do it! I was a strict Vegan for 7 years and yes I " did it right". I felt good for a little while and eventually started to feel terrible. I had brain fog, arthritis, tooth decay, so much more. Start listening to the Weston A Price Podcast. It will change your life for the better. 😊

    I quit while working in a warehouse. Waking up at 4 am and running and lifting thousands of boxes for 10 hours. One word. Withdrawal on top of all of this was brutal. Couldn't remember some of those days due to being so delirious from pain. One major thing I noticed is that my eyes feel wide awake all the time now. I think due to the vasoconstriction of caffeine my eyes after drinking coffee felt like there was sand in them. Every time I skipped coffee that feeling of heaviness and sandiness in the eyes would not be present. Kind of ironic since coffee should make you awake, not make you sleepy.

    Pro tip as someone who has quit caffeine multiple times: if you work Monday-Friday start not having caffeine on Saturday, as soon as you feel the headache starting to set in take 2 Tylenol. If you are struggling, just lay down and try to nap in the afternoon. Do the same Sunday and hopefully you will feel better by Monday!

    I, an espresso addicted, self confessed dependant can quit... Any of you guys can. Get through the first two weeks and you're home and dry. It also changed my life for the better and I echo the massive improvements in sleep 😎

      Actually I think you are first through it after 3-6 months or longer. First then will your energy level be back. Everyone is different though, just be prepared that it can take a long time.

      I hate caffeine, to me it's not much different than having a heroin addiction, it is soooo hard to quit for good. Like trying to give up cigarettes. Should be banned

      *update* I caved after a week and half due to stress. I figured out I wasn’t drinking caffeine because of the taste of the drinks, but out of stress. Caffeine makes my anxiety worse, but it’s a habit. Maybe I want to feel worse or become foggy to not deal with my anxiety. Very strange how the mind works.

      @@DjDestinyChicago it's been about a month or and a half for me. No anxiety, no irritability anymore, and no headache and fatigue. Im rather energized, but I feel extremely depressed. I try and distract myself by keeping busy. But I think the depression is the hardest,l. Like you, I feel depressed for no reason.

    I just made it through day 3 and doing much better! The headaches are gone but the exhaustion is still there. Can't wait to get past the symptoms and feel good again. I've been watching a lot of UA-cam on quiting caffeine to help cement this lifestyle change for me and I really appreciate you taking the time to share your story!

    I was having trouble sleeping. I've been drinking coffee daily for a couple years now. I stopped a few days ago, and I tried to replace it with green tea, to ease the withdrawal symptoms. Figured maybe it would help me with sleeping better. But it didn't, so I stopped the green tea as well. And oh my god have the symptoms been brutal. I literally can not think straight. I can't think, period. I can't even imagine how it feels quitting real drugs

    I second the sparkling waters! Super helpful! I never would’ve been able to quit soda the first time I did a few years ago. Today, I’m on day 2 of trying again. Man the headaches are brutal this time around and I won’t forget it!

    I quit once and was the calmest I've ever been. It gives me so much anxiety and I want to be calm again.
    I'm starting tomorrow. I've gone through the withdrawal symptoms at least five times so I know that I can handle it, I just need the strength to keep going.

    I was having heart palpitations and had to cut out coke, pepsi, tea, and chocolate. Its better for my health. The headaches during the withdrawal were horrible though. I'm better off now. My heart palpitations aren't happening anymore and I feel less dependent on caffeine.

      That's why I'm here. Between 🚬 and ☕, I've started getting heart palpitations and good lord are they horrible. These headaches are something else tho.

      How long did your guys withdrawals last? Im having heart palpitations also and one day I felt like I was going to have a heart attack but went to the doctor and was fine but I’m on day 12 with out coffee but each day I’m feeling better but at nights it gets worse I get the most heart palpitations and can’t sleep but it’s effect is fading each day and a whole mental battle

    I got told by my doctor to cut out caffeine after having anxiety at aged 15, I’m now 40 and have only ever drunk water or sometimes lemonade / orange juice since.. not sure I feel better for it as I was so young when I stopped but apparently I look young for my age, perhaps that’s a benefit who knows.

    Quit caffeine last week cuz I was feeling weird at work. I had high blood pressure and bad headaches had to go to the hospital a few times because the Panic attacks were so severe. Getting better day by day. Be safe and decrease slowly!

    Thanks for quitting the coffee together. I on fifth day no coffee. Feels great. On my work days, I have one tea bag green tea lightly brewed in a little approx 30 ml hot water for few minutes to wake up in the morning. And another cup of decaf mocha during the day.
    The first two days were during my rest days so i slept awesomely. The anxiety is same feeling as euphoria. So i am enjoying both great sleep and euphoria from quitting coffee for 5 days. I also think and feel more deeply. My bones and joints start to feel stronger already. My muscles also look bigger and more robust.

    ive been off caffeine for about 7 days. i have no withdrawals really. but im never fully awake? like i feel kinda dumb haha. any ideas how to fix this? or do i just wait

      Just wait. 7 days is not long enough to adjust. After 3 weeks you should be more adjusted and should feel much better.

    I'm 46 days sober on nicotine, I believe I have that addiction beat. 46 days sober on Marijuana aswell and those symptoms are gone aswell. I haven't quit caffeine until 16 days ago on new years, one thing I absolutely hate are headaches. So caffeine detox has been the hardest addiction to beat for me. I've been drinking green tea without realizing it had caffeine in it, but now that I know I just poured all I had left down the drain. Ever since I had my first child 7 months ago it's been weighing on me to be as healthy as possible, being addicted to something makes me feel like less of a man than I should be.     I've gone about a week now with no caffeine also quit sugar and cigs at once the withdrawal headaches are really bad. I had to ask for 4 days off work bc It's been so bad but it's nice to know I'm not the only one.

    Very cool to find this video. I'm a guitarist/musician who just happened to be researching the benefits of getting off of caffeine and your video came up first. I've gotten a lot healthier in the last year and a half(lost 65 lbs) and while I don't drink a lot of soda, I've always felt I need coffee in the morning and occasionally with lunch. I don't sleep very well and a neurologist suggested I quit caffeine which at the time, I thought ludicrous. But I miss full night's of sleep and proper sleep aids in weight loss (still looking to lose 20 mouth lbs)

    I’m down to 100mg from around 900mg per day, and plan to get down to 0mg. I’ve had the same experience with waking up early, and I’m like WTF. Lol.
    For me, there is physical pain in my back and muscles, nausea, and fatigue at the end of the day, but I can tell already that it will be worth it. Sleep and anxiety and panic attacks are already improving.

    I noticed this too, I stopped coffee, I usually had two cups in the morning. The last few days I have had depression, brain fog, diarrhea, feeling hopeless, finally it is starting to go away. I feel strong again, like I want to go for a jog. I broke up with a girl who kinda got me hooked on coffee, I never drank it before, so without someone there always making it I had no temptation. Caffein is pretty bad for you, I noticed I'm way more mellow now and don't have that shortness of breath.

    Day 2 of being off caffinne, the biggest wake-up call from me was after I handed in my thesis and when I went to pay for my coffees and the waitor said, wow 4 coffees, you must be buzzing' and I realised I felt quite normal.
    The first day was okay until the night when a bad headache came on and by day two no backlash

    2 weeks today for me. Headaches almost completely gone. Energy going up. Cold turkey, 2 cups of coffee in the morning then moved on to 2 - 3 (or more) 12oz cokes a day. First 3 days were the worse. Push through people.

    I'm trying to quit, because I wanna get back in shape again, and I'm tired of staying up till 3 or so in the morning. I quit caffeine once and I slept from 9 p.m to 5 or 6 a.m, so I'm working on giving it all up.

    My left nostril was always congested and for years I suffered from tension headache, blurry vision, panic attack and racing heartbeat (90 at rest despite being a competitive athlete). I stopped drinking my usual 3 cups of black coffee a day and all the symptoms stopped on day 1. Heart rate fell back down to around 60 as when I was younger. And thank God, apart from a bit of digestive issue I also suffered no withdrawal symptoms. I guess coffee is good for some but people like myself simply can't handle it. Now working on quitting sugar, alcohol and weed.

    I'm starting today, I've never made it past a week without having at least one when I try to quit. But there are no more sodas in the house and I don't have a drivers license to go get one. I'd have to ask my mom and I'm not going to do that. I've got a different feeling this time, I have a reason to quit. I'll update yall in a week.

      @@gear4148 Hey man, I'm at day 5 caffeine free and yesterday I actually gave in and drank cup of coffee cuz my headache was soo bad I tought I will die. BUT, you should quit it slowly so I recommend lowering the amounts, I went from coffee to cappuccino cuz it has less caffeine in it, sometimes I drink caffeine free cappuccino and little by little I will detox from it completely. Don't quit cold turkey if your headaches are that bad, speaking from the experience.

    I did make the mistake of trying decaf coffee and caffeine free Diet Coke ....
    I went backwards a little. So I’m working on complete caffeine free. I do feel so much better

    Congrats on your journey. I'm on my way to 2 weeks off caffeine. About 3 days in, I got the worst migraine and threw up 🤮 (tmi). Now, the headache is full and distracting. I really identify with what you said about feeling normal. I hope my body will soon reach a sense of normalcy. Thanks for sharing 🙂.

    Thank you for this video..i,m now 5 months of any caffeine and i can cee a light again=) i was using caffeine over 30 years i didn`t know how bad this drug is until i stopped cold turkey..first 2months was mostly fysical pain but then starts heavy depression, tremors, and memory loss and it was like i have some iron helmet in my head all the time=) this was something i never experienced becouse it was different depression that i was felt before..brain chemistry needs time to heal..i think in my case it takes over half year..i hope you lot of light and love to your journey.there is so much more energy when it comes naturally. maby i will allsow make viedo someday about my journey if i learn to speak better english=)

      Yes in some cases it takes over a year or two to feel normal ,just like any other drug withdrawal .But don’t let that discourage you ! STAY strong ! 5 months is good progress.Trust me your aren’t missing out on coffee .I lasted two weeks before I went back and now it’s hell all over again .For me it triggers anxiety and mood swings which is why I want to quit .Not to mention I’m highly addicted to it .

      @@MikeJones-fp9cb thank you. this is mental battle. it,s rollacoster when i feel up i go down and otherwise. but i now i need be patient, i ,m here to learn and some lessons are hard for me=) i never go back to caffeine. mental ilness is hard but it never last forever. maybe years but not forever=) some days i just can;t do anything and i just accept that and stay present moment and feel all the symptoms,. just feel and let them be like curious wonderer. i wish you lot of light and love. we are all together in this journey. This journey is the best teacher.

    I've been off caffeine for 5 days. I had a horrific headache and pain in my neck muscles at the back of my head on the second day. I've been so tired and feel really fuzzy and stupid like I'm in a bubble. Having problems with memory recall. Hope it gets better soon!

      @@carsonmarcil5235 yeah the fuzzy feeling lasted a couple of weeks but it took me about 3 months not to feel tired all the time. It has now been about 6 months and I feel great. The best thing is that it has killed off my anxiety. In the past few months I did job interviews and got a new job and the confidence I'm feeling has been amazing. I think a large part of that is down to being caffeine free and not having the anxiety.

    I have been a Dr. Pepper fanatic for many years. I have tried many times to stop drinking them, but I never stick to it. I decided once again to stop this caffeine addiction because this time I am having some health issues, and I think caffeine exacerbates the problem. I’m only on day 2, but your video has motivated me. Thank you for this inspiring video!

      I know it was a year ago since you wrote this but i’m going on day 5 and it’s rough with the fatigue and brain fog. Anxiety and depression too but still pushing thru. Headache portion is gone but now just dealing with body aches. If you get this message hope you’ve stuck with it 🎉 cheers :)

      @@jmal1776 yes it’s been a year and I stuck with it! I will occasionally have a drink with caffeine as a treat, but I no longer need it to function! The first couple of weeks is the hardest. Then after a month you really won’t even miss it. Good luck to you, you got this!

    I'm on day 5. Experienced headaches for the past 4 days, energy sucked and mood as well. Today I'm feeling much better, last light I had a vivid dream and that's rare for me because I'm a heavy cannabis smoker. My anxiety is already really low. Can't wait to experience the results after two weeks

      Look at the cannabis as well.
      I kicked that years ago, and I won't be going back to getting stoned all the time.
      The plant has it's uses, but being stoned a lot is detrimental.

    I haven't consumed caffeine for whole 9 days already, it's day 10. No coffee, no tea, no hot chocolate, no nothing. In my household it's kind of a “tradition” to have some sort of hot drink while having a meal (it's usually tea) or just when you're having a break you go to the kitchen and make a cup of tea. And I like this “tradition”, I like the taste and smell of all those drinks but I've had less and less energy every day for several months now. It was almost impossible for me to concentrate on something that requires work of brain, honestly it was horrible. And I thought to experiment with caffeine consumption, I thought maybe that was the problem. Well, now I feel more energetic, that's for sure, and I started to gain my mental clarity back. AND now I actually WANT to sleep at about 10-11 pm. At 11 pm I'm half asleep already and HAVE TO go to bed. That hasn't happened to me for more than a year lol, I thought I wasn't able to go to bed earlier than 1 pm or sum anymore. It's no coincidence that before I started the experiment I physically couldn't make myself wanna sleep but now it happens naturally. And I'm so happy about it 'cause I've had severe problems with sleep for as long as I can remember. And now it's easy to go to bed I don't even do anything special for it to happen. And it became so much easier to get up in the morning. I am willing to keep it like that for at least several weeks more and see what's changed. I hope I don't give in 'cause with this change only I started drinking lots of water again, I exercise and go to bed at normal time and I procrastinate much, much less.

    Great video, I’m going to quit, just found out from that Steven Walker Phd sleep scientist that it takes 48 hours to completely detox caffeine. One cup of coffee in the morning and there’s still a quarter a cup in you at night. Coffee has the half life of 8 hours but 48 hours to completely detox it out

    I think the best idea would be to cut intake in half for first week, then cut that half into another half the next week, then to none. Helps intensely with the withdrawals.

    I have a really bad addiction to caffeine. Had no idea it was in chocolate. I get withdrawal symptoms like headaches if I go a day without enough caffeine so I really want to try and cut it out. The only way that seems to work is to go cold turkey but I know the withdrawal is going to be horrible.
    It’s funny because it’s not really seen as an addiction in the same way as smoking or alcohol but it is and I’ve never seen myself as an addict (I don’t need alcohol) but with caffeine my body says otherwise.

    What about creativity? I'm musician myself and I tried to quit caffeine one time. After 3 weeks I noticed better sleep, better digestion and better voice (!) but I lost big portion of my creativity.

    I quit about a month ago, and honestly the first two weeks weren’t too bad.
    Then all of a sudden I started getting panic attacks, rapid heart rate, and it would wake me up in the middle of the night.
    It’s become very disruptive, and frankly pretty scary. I wasn’t even consuming that much, 2-3 cups a day.
    It’s like my brain and nervous system just doesn’t know what to do. I’m hoping it’s just my chemistry trying to correct itself, and that the end is near. I’ve thought about caving but haven’t yet.
    Thank you for making this video, I will keep going, but this anxiety really scares me.

      I’m going through the same thing as well. It is Very scary! Lately I’ve been nauseous and not able to eat anything thing but what’s been helping me is b-12 every morning and mineral water to help with nausea.

    I’ve given up coffee and there’s a lot of benefits with that, but I haven’t completely given up caffeine since I’m still eating dark chocolate occasionally. It works fine for me. Everything in moderation.

      Believe it or not my biggest problem with coffee was MOLD. I still drink caffeinated breuvages like pepsi, green tea, energy drink etc and I do not get the depressing zombie like side effects I got from coffee. a lot of coffee is contaminated with mold.

    This is harder for me than quitting alcohol. The headaches! I stepped down form coffee using Excedrin (has caffeine) two doses day one. One dose day two. Half dose day three... headache day four (but not so bad). Because I'm sleeping so much better I'm really watching my caffeine very carefully. Sleeping when tired.

    5 days no coffee. so far so good except today. i slept 12 hours last night and been in bed pretty much ALL day. is this normal? ive quit booze too thats straight forward - hard but text book, quitting caffiene is wierd

    After a semester in College, I was taking Adderall and two 5 Hour Energy shots a day. 1 shot in the morning around 8 am, Adderall around 10, then around 3 pm, another Hour Energy shot, and driving home I would get sleepy, it was bad.
    So I decided to Cold Turkey stop, I knew what to expect as I have quit before, bad headaches, so immediately upon waking up on the first day I took some Ibuprofen. No headaches. I went to the gym and jogged a mile, my cardio needs improvement. By the 2nd day, I had this leg pain that I was attributing to the jogging, I just needed to stretch. No matter how much I stretched the pain would not subside. By the 3rd day, caffeine free, I was experiencing sciatica pain and it was bad, no matter which way I lay in bed in hurt. Plus the leg pain was greater. I did a little online research and found that this was a result of caffeine withdrawal. It was suggested to slowly ween myself off of it. I couldn't take the pain anymore, immediately made some coffee. Half a cup down and all the pain went away. An immediate bowel movement also forced me into the bathroom. Normally I'm pretty regular, taking fiber supplements twice a day. But as I recalled, it's been 3 days since I've been to the bathroom.
    Looks like I will have to ween myself off, I'll drink this cup then refrain until the pain kicks back in, and hopefully I will eventually quit.
    They say that coffee has antioxidants in it, yeah it does, but it ain't alot. I get more antioxidant benefits from 1000mg of Glutathione and Melatonin than coffee could ever give.
    Coffee ads hype up coffee like it's some kind of miracle, it ain't. It's like the cigarette ads in the 1950's saying, "it's harmless and improves asthma."

    I’m doing this for the third time. I learned I have a grandson coming so I start eating better and drinking water the energy is coming back. Your video was awesomeness. And I just started going to the Gym. Next is learning guitar. You’re correct if you drink one soda or ice tea you’re hooked again been there done that three times.     Are you still caffeine free after almost 2 years? I have inadvertently started the process because I didn't have coffee yesterday and I'm having some crazy withdrawal symptoms today. It's scaring me a little because I've never had such a reality check about what an addiction it is. Honestly, the thought of even drinking coffee right now makes me sick to my stomach, I've already thrown up 6 times, I can't even hold anything in my stomach 🤢

    I'm starting to recover from a bad addiction. About 80-120 fl oz of soft drinks a day. I drink it every bit as much as an alcoholic drinks liquor. It's been just over 64 hours since my last one. I've been addicted for about 14 years (although I actually once went 3 months and then relapsed). I'm feeling the effects of withdrawal now. Work is going to be difficult for a while (I do a pretty physical job), but I am committed. I already have moments where I feel better than I have.

    Im on 49.5 hours now after drinking roughly 10-12 energy drinks every day for 10 years and like you said I'm suffering with headaches and tiredness also my first 24 hours I had hot sweats and I'm drinking water constantly due to feeling dehydrated. Great video and informative.

    Only drinking one cup in morning rest decaf coffee, will cut out the first cup and see if i can replace some of the decaf. have been drinking about 6-9 cups of normal coffee a day headaches, Tiredness and sluggish. Good to hear the good effects on quit`ing

    I definitely understand how it could help you mentally by uploading this video. Unfortunately caffeine is literally every where, I think out of every legal drug this is marketing more around the world. Even in some hotels they have coffee already prepared waiting on you. I can't suggest much because I'm currently using caffeine but I can reccomend something called kratom. I'd look into it! One very small dose can keep you alert for hours.

      Be careful with kratom man, it’s ok in moderation but if you have an addictive personality like I do and start doing it every day for long enough, it can reduce your testosterone and make you feel like shit and unmotivated. But if you have the self control to only use in moderation, that’s the best scenario, I wish I could but I’m not disciplined enough to only do it sometimes

      @@JustanamebroDK Lmao the withdrawal isn't even that bad dude. Kratom is not an opiod either as it doesn't flood the receptor, it just barely touches it. Hence why you can't overdose on kratom, matter of fact you can't even take more to get high, due to the fact that kratom has a safety net in terms of how much you can take.

    I'm on day 18 of alcohol sobriety but now I have been taking caffeine pills this whole week. They give me bad anxiety. I'm off caffeine tomorrow!

    I reduced my caffeine slowly. I'm so tired and I miss soft drinks too. Its a difficult change, but I really need sleep.

    The best part of quitting caffeine is the deeper more restful sleep, the worst part? That you can't order a Teeccino latte at a coffee shop, it's hard to even find a nice decaf

    I dread stopping completely.
    The headaches & nausea, anxiety & palpitations are hard to deal with. I also go thru a good wk of a stupid phase where I’m just not with it at all lol But I hate being dependent on anything. I did this once b4 & I noticed how fast I started to de- bloat & wasn’t so puffy looking, my skin was so soft & much clearer as well. After awhile of not drinking it I noticed it didn’t taste as good. I don’t know why I got sucked back into it 🤦🏼‍♀️ but the fight is worth fighting!

    I’m gonna start drinking coffee, it gives me a mood uplift, I feel more happy and productive and I have adhd but I don’t want to take amphetamines, I’m 16

    I drink coffee yes but as everything in life I do it on MODERATION.
    I drink it on my breakfast and that’s it. I got all healthy benefits on it and I do not depend my energy on it…simple as that.

    I work 3rd shift at Amazon, working 10 hr shifts without any caffeine seems impossible. Tonight’s shift will be day 1, wish me luck!

    I have been drinking a two liter a day since I was 13 and i just quit cold turkey a little over a week ago. The head aches are not fun I can catch them in time usually and keep them at bay.

    I cut down caffeine to just three cups of tea a day or roughly 150 mg of caffeine whereas I previously had about 400-500 mg a day. I'm quitting completely tomorrow because caffeine gives me chronic headaches. I'm scared but I am motivated to fix this!
