Every time I watch him flip through comics, there is so many i would buy. I love dollar bins and early 90s comics, I would buy them all. Wish I wasn't hundreds of miles from these places
That's a lucky find with the Mighty midget comic. I found 4 of them a little over a year ago. The Phantom Eagle, Balbo the Boy Magician, Commando Yank and Mr. Scarlett and Pinky. They are hard comics to come by. I've been looking ever since and haven't been able to find any more in the wild.
In the last 2 months ive obtained 23-2400 books..mainly because im in the weeds and its impossible to find books in the wild so "all or nothing" tends to be the rule. These spots you hit make ny eyes bulge lol!! Another awesome watch and great haul!!
I also love collecting books where notable villians get their more iconic costume/look they are known for. Some favorites of mine are Amazing Spider-Man 32 for Doc Ock and Spectacular Spider-Man 58 for the Beetle. Love the derby hats! 🎩
Dude! I absolutely love top hats, and those are fantastic. And that pith helmet? Come on! Great deals on the comics, Mike. And, of course, you know I love Voltron.
Nice pick ups Mike, not to pile one but yeah you kinda missed that G.I. Joe 154. It's the 2nd to last issue in the run and low print run. It's also a very early Amanda Connor cover. Maybe I'll go and grab it if it's still there. 😂😂. 👊🏼
I came here to comment this as well.. Its a $100-150 comic and very sought after cause many joe fans are trying to finish runs. Ironically 154 is at 1:54 of your video:) Great job, love your videos. I've moved overseas now and I don't have the same variety comic hunting, so your videos allow me to hunt virtually along with you! I love seeing you flip through comics cause it lets me keep in practice (although I will admit a bit of frustration when I see a corner of an issue that you dont show cause you skip a bunch in your flip:) great job love your stuff
The best is the helmet. Now I not only have to yell at you to “go back cause I want to see that comic” but “go back I want to see that entire table of dirty glass bottles.”
Really love that PHANTOM EAGLE comic! Hey, where were those “mini comics” originally sold? Not newsstands, I wouldn’t think? Mail in premiums? Any additional info on those, Mike?
Are you taking the pith? Great vid again Mike. Great picks too. Love the Fawcett mini comic. Attack of the radios, I suppose if one of those big valve jobs hit you on the noggin it would smart a bit! Gene Colan love him, unique style very prolific as is Janson.I miss Colan. Every time I watch you at a flea market I hope "this time he will find a Jonny Astro," one day It will happen. Loved the hats. The steampunk one I fear was more " Carry on up the Kyber"... Your new hat at the start was very nice with a big peak. Definitely will keep the rain off your nose, ;-D. Cheers cock and greetings from a rainy part of England.
Love everything you got!! Big Zelda fan, also!! Great team up book! Can't wait to get that one for myself! Surprised you passed on the Wolverine one! When you went by it, I said ' wait! great cover, and you grabbed it! LOL!" guess it wasn't meant to be!
Thought you would find Power man #57....X-Men crossover...but good finds. I saw you flip through GI Joes and thought should slow down, might be a high number!
The helmet!! Man, that first table had some great stuff for a dollar or two...five mins in, i'm talking to the screen: get those John Byrne Caps and Avengers!! Damn I wish we had flea markets like this in Ireland :(
Loved the video, great pickups both comic book or otherwise. I love all the legend of Zelda games which one is your favorite? I just finished skyward sword.
The Superman comic with the invisible football player on the cover is a bit of a key. It's the first appearance of a Daily Planet reporter named Steve Lombard. SNL's Beck Bennett has be cast to play him in the upcoming James Gunn Superman movie. It's worth around $10 in mid grade, so not a giant loss to pass on, but something to look out for when you see it cheap :)
I just checked out Daredevil 111 Mike. Silver Samurai definitely presents on the cover orange but the interiors he is purely the Cobalt Blue and Silver
@lunchmoneycomics That's the one we all know and love for sure. My favorite memories are his appearances in the X-Men animated series and him being a playable character in the arcade Children of the Atom. Great scores! Can't wait till you come back to Canada!
@@LB5111 Wish I could but that was weeks ago, I’m sure they’ll be gone. And if not, there are people in my area who watch my videos and pounce when they see good deals.
Mike Tarzan 230 100 pager reprints 1st Detective Chimp from adv of Rex the Wonder Dog number 4. You should be able to get that fairly cheap. Tarzan??? Who knew???
Not as bad as the queasy feeling I get whenever I see comics spread out on the ground or on tables in the hot sun! At least the last guy had his bagged, boarded and upright in boxes!
@@WilliamEscobar-y3d I appreciate the comment and concern, but I get these comments every so often and it’s ALWAYS when the comics aren’t boarded. Just because you see them flopping around doesn’t mean I’m being careless. I have my camera mount on, I’m using two hands, and I’m not putting pressure on any part of them. Considering that they are sitting in the sun, in piles, without boards, picking up condensation, with hundreds of people rifling through them, I assure you I’m not the one harming these books.
@@lunchmoneycomics I hear you, I'm just used to handling my comics very carefully, especially when they are old, cause when you sell them a bad corner can cost you big, especially for the next men, but I understand,.

I agree the Chuck Austen run was pretty brutal
Cool hat. 👍
Nice pickups and vid as always but did I just hear Ironman and Powerfist . 🤔😂😂
Seriously Voltron or the hat are the mvps of this video! Great little haul. I’m still jealous of these flea markets you hit.
Nice haul also love that Vultron
Small but mighty haul. Love the helmet. 😂

What a great pick-up. The hats alone were worth the $20, the helmet is just awesome bonus! And a near complete Voltron!?
Great back to basics episode! Awesome pick up with the Phantom Eagle mini comic book, easily the most interesting comic book buy of the day!
Thanks for sharing. That helmet looks like it fits perfect.
