- I found tons of comic books at this huge flea market, but today was a day I decided to be picky. I only got a few books but they are great and I definitely got them for Lunch Money prices! Check out the video to see what I got, and how little I paid!

you went past one of my favorite books: ASM Annual #19. Underrated in my opinion. Thats the book that got me addicted to comics.
I would have picked up those Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, and old cheap D. C. There you go I do the same with the silver, love that cover of Mystique OMG that is all WOW,

$10 Egyptian bust… seem pretty good, and fun! Good price on the books. I too enjoy you talking about them more as it’s nice to hear someone passionately talking about something of interest instead of just $. As for LMC portion, honestly, it doesn’t matter much to me, but I do appreciate at least the occasional purchases like that.
Dude. Your finds are always a treat. You are creating quite a museum. You might need to started doing review on your other collections maybe a spin-off segment

Didn't think I'd see a UK Beano comic just sitting there at a US flea market
I love the 80s Moon Knight and have the full set. A couple of my faves to just read are #29 & 30, where he fights Werewolf by Night. Black covers so kind of hard to find in high grade but really cool in any condition
You should put the Egyptian bust next to the Moon Knight book. 👍🏼
The flea market was packed. To bad you couldn’t check out more. I was there for awhile and still felt like I should have checked out more or gone through more. More to come.
Your new microphone does give better audio. But I will say as a musician and someone who has dabbled in UA-cam video making, it's not a huge difference because your old setup sounded good, too. I'm actually surprised that you were getting such high quality audio and video with just a cell phone before. So congrats on the new audio gear, enjoy using it, and keep up the good work!

Shoulda picked up that Subby 20. 20 bucks for that is a steal.
When I began reading stories through oversized collected editions I never went back into reading floppies. To me, my floppy comics are nostalgic collectibles, they are more like a relic of remembering the past. I also dont read floppies that are old and vintage because of the aged paper quality, it's too delicate. I read comics through collected editions now, especially the oversized ones, they look SO MUCH BETTER. I would recommend starting at Giant Size X-men: A Tribute to Wein and Cockrum Gallery Edition.
I would like to dig through the piles at about 6.50 and also the Led Zeppelin guy. Hope you can spend more time there next time.

Moon Knight was a favorite until he started to get so steeped in magic. I was all-in on Marvel doing their own Batman. It was hard for me to follow the personalities as a kid but the bouncing around was also intriguing.
Great vid Mike. Your flea markets look awesome. Did not notice any difference with the audio but I am using a laptops tinny speaker, so it's not surprising.

I would love to go to that flea market, I wish there was more in my area. I know not a lot of people like going through boxes like what you shiwed, but I absolutely love the discovering something in them. Sometimes less is more mike. Good pick-ups and the bust will go good with Moon Knight!😊

When I saw the Alex Ross FF covers, I thought I'll grab the Thing cover and later I can find the rest... FAMOUS LAST WORDS, My LCS has all 3 of the remaining FF members up on the wall for $ 25 @!! The sound is noticeably better although it never was much of an issue to me before. What’s the story of the X-men thing on the second from bottom shelf? Is it an animation cel or a print? Ah I think you are referring to the X-men print, I got it at Terrificon last year, signed by Christ Claremont and the artist Art Adams. If you check out my Terrificon video you can see the story of it, one of my favorite things in my collection
I'm still using a G3 phone (or is that 3G?), no internet connection and calls and texts only. Everyone I know with a more modern phone complains endlessly about scams, the scammers don't bother with me and my old tech.
I agree about the Daredevil era when he was Natasha, definitely a different tone to earlier and later stories.
The often overlooked Bendis Moon Knight series is particularly interesting for the way Bendis handles MK's multiple personalities.
Three choice comics Mike, you can't go wrong with those.
0:45 BEWARE!’ #7 Art originally used on ‘Mystic’ #59 1957. The cover art was used in the U.K. for Alan Class 1962 ‘Creepy Worlds’ #1 B&W re-prints. I want that book! 😃🤣

I agree with the comment below I would love to see videos on you other collectiona, but I understand you are a very busy man, That wall behind you is looking great, no more room left. And the Mike is working just fine, And some of comics I glimpsed were fantastic. But there were worth a few dollars, so I see why you passed them by.
Next question is why not feature some of your guitar work on your hunting Videos or some keyboard work?

Your audio sounds better. You could turn the treble down just a bit. Your mic is hot. It really picks up compared to your old phone. I like the painting at the beginning of your video. Looks like it was Captain America themed with other heroes. I thought you were going to purchase it.

Limited time plays a part yes, but also I’ve mentioned in other videos I often go through the books fast filming and then put the phone down to go through slowly, you guys just don’t see that part
the only thing i hate about buying comic books at the flea market. some of the venders ask way too much for their comic book in reality there not worth much what they are asking for.
Those 80 page Giant DC SIlver Age are so hard to get.

Hmmmm, I have several from the early 40s, I think that’s it. I have a few pulps that are older but I wouldn’t call them comic books.
I been collecting comics for year's one thing I don't do is keep getting the same comic dose get boring aswell I don't care if it's key or not

Nope, I think it’s the new camera, kind of blurs the background to make the foreground higher resolution
