Antique shop for me in Minnesota. Just put on 250 miles to Antique shops with very little and over priced books. Ended up at my LCS on my way home for two Werewolf by Night run fillers. I have to keep trying to find some gems.
The big antique stores with multiple vendors are antique malls. Flea markets are usually one day or a weekend. That’s how it is in North Dakota anyway.
Space comic books are real cool that's why I always liked Captain marvel and the silver surfer and some of the Star Trek stuff. We call them antique stores in Missouri and it's the same way consignment in the shop with booths.
Love the Video Mike, Perfect Wolverine. Great buys today, reminds me of my best pickup. Paper sack of comics (way back in the day), purchased unseen for $6. Contained Hulk #181, MSH #18, and 20 + misc books. Wish Memphis had the opportunities you are seeing! Love, LOVE, your videos. Look forward to talking someday! Mike🙂
Oh snap! I went to Brimfield North! I scored an Avengers 57 and Zap Comix 0-2 at the last spot you looked (the one with the original Bullseye) I must have just missed ya.
That's awesome you made it to Brimfield North! That Flea Market is owned by the Hertan's Field Owners (they also own Marier's Flea Market in Palmer) and they are friends of mine and my wife. They have come a long ways and are getting bigger each year. Someday I'll get up there but good to see a preview of what to expect through your video!
Awesome costume!!! I would have bought it also…lol. Looks like you had a great time looking around at the Antique stores. I have one close to me that has a lot of comics. Haven’t had the time to go through everything he has because it is a ton of comics. Keep up the great job and Happy Halloween!! 🎃👻💀🧛🏻
The things you do? Lol that's wonderful. Yeah you're pecs are a little Liefeld 🤣🤣 seriously, it's good sir. Aw man, what a nice guy you are, good pick ups btw. A happy Halloween to you 😎
Pecks by Leifeld, your personal trainer!😂 Awsome comic pick-ups. Loved seeing some of the other stuff like the old Atari game boxes. I still have my 2600 and a ton of games, but only a few boxes.
We call most of them antique malls or shops here - most have multiple vendors that rent spaces under contract, though we do have a few shops that are owned and furnished wholly by the owners themselves. Flea markets are typically more of a temporary setup on a weekend, with a larger variety of items from new to old. Nice variety of books there, and congrats on checking another off of your X-Men list!
Mike, since I have to travel in a wheelchair I don't get out much so it was great seeing all the people and great items in your video. It made me feel like I was outdoors enjoying the sun and air. Plus the music was great to listen too. Keep finding cool things in unusual places!!
Ghoul afternoon and Happy Halloween Michael Great show, great tour of the Markets, some great treasures. I love those comics, especially Marvel super heroes 18, that is a book I brought with my Lunch Money, this title was a favourite because you got so much comic for your money. I read that thing to death. Thank you Michael for the entertainment, and those subs keep coming. Brilliant work Cheer Al The Goldkeyfourcolorkidownunda
Actually had this version of the Guardians of the Galaxy...loved this one ...confused me when I saw the latest Iteration having been away from comics for almost 30 years..
Nice finds. The flea markets look way better than what we get here. Usually we get people's unwanted junk that the vendors decided to try to sell rather than taking to the dump.
Another outstanding segment Mike, you’re an awesome orator and thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos! Your Millie finds have me drooling in envy as well! Please keep up the great effort, and thank you!
Happy Halloween! Love the Wolverine costume. You should definitley wear that out tonight, if you tag along with your kids for trick-or-treating. I cannot stand slabs, and I know you don't love them either. I will never own a slab, but the Guardians grab is cool. I'd want to flip through it.
CLASSIC costume! Loved it! The X-Men Annual was a great pick up - the story was really good. I didnt realize Frank Miller did the cover, even though I own it, too! LOL
Loved the Rob Leifeld joke! I never had that book, but I had a calendar that had that image in it. Gotta admit, the costume looks good on you. Nice grabs with those Millie books, but I honestly thought you were going to grab that Boris Karloff book. You know I love my Silver and Bronze Age horror. Excellent haul, Mike! Even if you don't crack that Guardians book, it's still awesome to have.
Mike, the best pickup in my opinion is the costume. A real shame the mask wasn't included, but as you said, the mileage you're going to get on it will be tremendous. I've been to a few of those kinds of businesses up here in Canada and they're generally called 'Antique Malls' up here. Great fun to browse and check out! Keep hunting!
Mike, rocking Logan's costume. Are you excited for the Deadpool movie? I got a Mini series of Deadman set to bring the mood for Halloween. In keeping with the theme, I got X-men number 144 featuring Manthing and X-men 156.
So I filmed this a few weeks ago but I went on my friend MON Comics Halloween live show last Thursday and I did the full mutton chops, definitely check out the video!
HAHAHA!! You said it right, "the things you will do for a laugh!" You got a straight LOL from me!! Love the videos Mike! Thanks for making them for our entertainment, appreciate you and everything you do for the community!! Stay Safe, Have a great Halloween with your family!!
You should have grabbed those two issues of Insect Fear, very hard to find Underground Comix from 1970. Some great 1970s Marvel Treasuries and b/w magazines at the 101A store, and was that an unopened box of Space: 1999 trading cards, based on one of my favourite SF series of the 70s? The band on the cover of the second Millie comic definitely looks like a Monkees-inspired group. The X-Men Annuals from #3 (1979) to #15 (1991) are all really good reads and some are exceptional (6, 9, 10 and 11). Thankyou Mike for highlighting the TRUE Guardians Of The Galaxy, not those ring-in drop-kicks from the movies. For me, the original Guardians are the only ones, fighting in the 30th century to liberate our solar system from the evil reptilian Badoon. And congratulations on getting your Marvel Super-Heroes #18. When is your screen test for the role of Wolverine? You would so ace that performance.
Spooky intro haha! Love your wolverine fit lol, I just finished making my God Emperor Doom cospaly the other day and I'm sweating! Anyways, Happy Halloween!
Thank you for sharing your new found treasures. Great finds! I'm always hesitant to dive into golden/silver age books like Millie knowing I'm not going to be into the character/book much. With somewhat limited space to house all the books one could ever want, my wife politely nudges me to shrink my collection and every time I do it's books like Millie that I quickly let go of, even with the Stan Lee connection. You're a braver man than I in Wolverine costume. Keep it coming, love the content.
You are wearing the wrong costume for that reference , bud. that isn't major Astrovich..... . I love the original guardians. First time i read a story with them was during the Korvac saga. At that time the captain future cartoon was one of my favorites, so i got hooked on the Guardians. They are, in a way, in the second and third guardians movie. Just so sad starhawk isn't blond. Those Millie comics are the odd things that make a collection unique. If i counted correctly, you onle need 9 issues of the Claremont x-men run? Thats uncanny! Love the videos and the hunting, keep them coming.
Loved the intro lol. I hit-up the Hollis Flea Market weekend before last, pretty bare but got a pretty cool ASM 154 in very nice condition. Non-key issue but like so many, I just love ASM & that knocked a few bucks off of it for me if I bought a couple other books. Got some cool, ever so slightly spine-rolled Man-Things (20 & 22). I'm only about 15-20 mins away from 101A Antiques, I've been meaning to make my way over and I think this video definitely inspired me to make that trip!
Nice costume bub’
That Leifeild joke 👍- Great Video My Friend 😊 - Sweet Books
That Rob Liefeld Captain America "busty" pose 😂😂😂
Great gets! Guardians buy was a FANTASTIC BUY!😊
That costume man....gonna be hard to top next year! Awesome video and fantastic pickups. Happy Halloween my friend, thanks for entertaining us!
Looking good, I see you waving those claws around...lol. great pick
Very cool wolf man tshirt and ofcourse the wolverine outfit. Liefeld would be proud of that pose lol
Awesome finds there, Mike. Happy for you...
Of course, you almost look as BUFF as that Liefeld drawn Captain America!!!! Definitely use it for Halloween!!!!
Sweet wolfman shirt! And ofcourse the wolvie costume was epic 😂 cheers!
Thanks for sharing! Love the costume. Sweet!
very nice pickups, Mike. great job.
Antique shops/stores in Oregon. Thanks for another great show!
Liefeld doesn’t have enough ink for those pecs 😂 I knew you would buy that Millie
Costume looks great Rob would be so jealous careful with those claws
Antique shop for me in Minnesota. Just put on 250 miles to Antique shops with very little and over priced books. Ended up at my LCS on my way home for two Werewolf by Night run fillers. I have to keep trying to find some gems.
In france we call those antique shops "brocantes", where you can find anything old and/or collectible.
Hahaha I was not ready for the Wolverine reveal! Amazing!
The big antique stores with multiple vendors are antique malls. Flea markets are usually one day or a weekend. That’s how it is in North Dakota anyway.
You can’t talk with your hands in that costume. You will take somebody out with those claws. Lol. Great vid
omg that opening was one of a kind, love it hahahaha😅
Points! 😂
Congrats on those great books! I love that Xmen annual 3, great story too!
Space comic books are real cool that's why I always liked Captain marvel and the silver surfer and some of the Star Trek stuff. We call them antique stores in Missouri and it's the same way consignment in the shop with booths.
I understand it lol the joke wolverine outfit looks awesome
Love your pickups. That Batman 227 would have been a great addition too. Maybe go back for that one haha
That costume was great 😂. Really enjoyed the video 😊 keep up the awesome channel.
Great Wilbur costume. It’s something I would have to have to buy if I saw it as well 😅
The Liefeld/Caps joke was good.
Why'd ya pass on "The Longbow Hunters"?
A cigar will make a fine mask.
Fun as always.👍
Hahahahah even tried spiking the hair 😂😂. Love it, man. Great vid once again, Mike.👍🏻
Ain’t no Liefeld Cap chest! You would be able to get that in frame.
Mike🙂
Love that you were still talking with your hands even with the claws lol great content man as always!
Leifeld joke was a good one 😂
I love how you comic hunt, your joy for the hunt, and your haul, thanks for sharing. Your costume is way cool
“Hit the gym to fill the costume out” 😂
Ohh top shelf baby! U stepped up your DC game!
hehehehehehe LOL!!!! You should wear a Deadpool mask in combo with your Wolverine costume........
Can Rob L. finally draw some feets? 😉
Oh snap! I went to Brimfield North! I scored an Avengers 57 and Zap Comix 0-2 at the last spot you looked (the one with the original Bullseye) I must have just missed ya.
It definitely has value being graded and saves you about $50 in grading, pressing and shipping fees
Love that GOTG book! I have the Marvel Presents reprint and am trying to collect the 90s run still, but nice luck on you 🤙
Love the turn to show the chest 😂😂
Love this channel. It's nice to see someone who collects like me not everyone has 6 hulk 181s that they use to divide their gsx issues.
Ah that’s very cool, thanks for the info!
Awesome costume!!! I would have bought it also…lol. Looks like you had a great time looking around at the Antique stores. I have one close to me that has a lot of comics. Haven’t had the time to go through everything he has because it is a ton of comics. Keep up the great job and Happy Halloween!! 🎃👻💀🧛🏻

😂😂😂 you have mad my day that costume is great 😂
great costume...lots of love
Pecks by Leifeld, your personal trainer!😂 Awsome comic pick-ups. Loved seeing some of the other stuff like the old Atari game boxes. I still have my 2600 and a ton of games, but only a few boxes.
COOL PLACE! THANK YOU!!❤😊
I'm hoping to go back to the store called once was new they have all the comic books I'm after I love watching these shows you do bud
Loved the GOTG pickup!

Flea markets are typically more of a temporary setup on a weekend, with a larger variety of items from new to old. Nice variety of books there, and congrats on checking another off of your X-Men list!
In Québec we call them Marché aux puces. And I am surprised that you didn’t buy Batman 227
Mike, since I have to travel in a wheelchair I don't get out much so it was great seeing all the people and great items in your video. It made me feel like I was outdoors enjoying the sun and air. Plus the music was great to listen too. Keep finding cool things in unusual places!!

May sound bonkers, but I've never seen Atari games in their packaging! It's always a loose cartridge so that was cool to see in HD 👍
Nice finds. The flea markets look way better than what we get here. Usually we get people's unwanted junk that the vendors decided to try to sell rather than taking to the dump.
I like the Rob Liefeld joke 😅
Lol. You're the best Mike! Keep it up.
That's a great deal on the GOTG book, Mike! Love it!
Can’t stop laughing at the Wolvie costume! 😂😂😂
Check out MON Comics live show from last Thursday, I dressed up again but even shaved to give myself actual mutton chops!

Love going with u on you're adventures
Hype intro today!
In the U.K we'd call it a market or a car boot sale.
Found a new mutants annual 2 in pawn shop for $0.75 happy hunting in the modern treasure hunt

Love listening to u to learn history
Another great video 👍

There are at least 5 "America's biggest flea markets" here in Florida
Haha I doubt doubt it. Probably countless in the whole country
I think there was an episode of pawn Stars where somebody was selling the claws from the wolverine movie real metal claws?
💚💚Love the costume!!!😊
Mike, rocking Logan's costume. Are you excited for the Deadpool movie? I got a Mini series of Deadman set to bring the mood for Halloween. In keeping with the theme, I got X-men number 144 featuring Manthing and X-men 156.
Great content Mike! Really enjoy your videos, especially when you dig through the comics and other collectibles before hand. Keep up the good work!
Great books and costume…next time gotta go a bit further with the Wolvie mutton chops beard!
So I filmed this a few weeks ago but I went on my friend MON Comics Halloween live show last Thursday and I did the full mutton chops, definitely check out the video!
@@lunchmoneycomics I just saw it and you nailed the look. Kudos, Mike.

Thank you so much, and have a great day yourself!
I usually forget to hit the like button, but as soon as I saw you come out with the Wolverine costume, I had to give the vide a like.
Haha maybe I need to make a fool of myself more!
You should have grabbed those two issues of Insect Fear, very hard to find Underground Comix from 1970.

Happy Halloween Mike and great pickups!
I bet my college public speech professor wouldn’t have picked on me about using my hands more if I was wearing those claws.
Spooky intro haha! Love your wolverine fit lol, I just finished making my God Emperor Doom cospaly the other day and I'm sweating! Anyways, Happy Halloween!

$225 for Batman 227? I would have grabbed that right away, Top 3 grails for me that I don't have.
Yep, kinda kicking myself!
Great haul I think its a great buy
