KERDI FAILURE --- January 2019 Never Seen Before Footage

This was my first fully installed Kerdi faiure test that I performed. This display was built along side my Schluter Systems territory sales managers at a BBQ demo day we did at our shop in October of 2018. The display was used at a homeshow we did to showcase schluter systems kerdi-line, Ditra-Heat, and Kerdi membrane. A few months later I decided to fill it up with water, mainly to test how water would sit in areas that did not have full coverage of thinset under the tile and on top of the Kerdi membrane.
I did not however expect to find the results that I did. I was shocked, worried, and confused by what I found. Instead of making this video go live, I decided instead to send the unlisted version to‪@SalDiBlasi‬ who sent it to the management team at Schluter Systems NA. Shorty thereafter, I was contacted by James Harrington, the Head Technical Director of Schluter Systems NA. After that conversation, I decided to keep the video private.
