Kinda disappointed that they left out a lot of the "softer" songs and only went for the shock effect. Would’ve been great to see Rosenrot, Keine Lust or ohne dich
The biggest problem I have is that they should explain the meaning of works that aren't understood by the people reacting. Mann gegen mann has really beautiful lyrics behind the clip for example.

If you wanna understand Rammstein, you just need 2 things... A brain and some sense of humor..... Theres so much social criticism... This band is fucking awesome!!!
I wish they'd provided translations for the songs cause, while Rammstein is visually shocking, the lyrics are meaningful and pretty deep, it's the combination of those two elements that makes the experience (at least for a German listener) very distinguished!
Alright! this would be first time I would request reaction and that would be a bit controversial but for sure most awesome video in recent years ! Would be awesome if you bring "deutchland " new single reacting elderly and college kids
Im just sad that they didn't mention the meaning behind the songs. All these songs have a really deep meaning, that you can only understand if you know German to an extend(or search for the lyrics translation of course). It would help these elders a lot if they actually knew what was being said.
"...doesn't take a lot of talent..." except that if they knew what the lyrics meant, they'd realise that pretty much every one of those songs has some poetic run to it, or paints an image that is completely relevant to modern society. Which is why I always push people to go learn foreign languages. You never know when it'll be useful.
Well, this kinda loses its point when you forget taking a closer look at the lyrics. That‘s where the genius of Rammstein lies, in Lindemann playing with language, his poetic and playful way of expressing and describing things. Leaving it just vague enough for people to allow them to interpret the lyrics in two, three or even more ways and keeping this up throughout the entire song, giving it two, three, four layers of meaning, depending on what you want to hear and how dirty you want it to be. That is pretty much the whole point of Rammstein. Sadly this gets lost when you can‘t understand their lyrics.

@@rigel9228 Probably, but you could explain it at the end. Very interesting to see how they would respond to the video and than after the explination.
@@rigel9228 that might be true.. that should be explained.. I think the video is very powerful :)
It's Rammstein... There is always a Message.
Dont reduce Rammstein only by their videos or scandals. Their music is so outstanding
lol yes, these elders only reacted to their video clips not their music.
"Guys, do it in the backseat! There's more room!" - best. line. ever.
If you wanna understand Rammstein, you just need 2 things... A brain and some sense of humor.....
Theres so much social criticism...
This band is fucking awesome!!!
It helps if you can understand German
@@kurtknispel5334 Yes, yes it does
One of the best concerts I've ever experienced in person. I loved it!!
I wish they'd provided translations for the songs cause, while Rammstein is visually shocking, the lyrics are meaningful and pretty deep, it's the combination of those two elements that makes the experience (at least for a German listener) very distinguished!
I thought the same. But even with a translation you miss half of the meaning, since a lot is a reference to German Literature/ Culture ..
true!
Need to redo this with there new song. Deutschland. Really interested to see there take on the video.
Ugghhhhhh it's so gooooooodddddd.
Alright! this would be first time I would request reaction and that would be a bit controversial but for sure most awesome video in recent years ! Would be awesome if you bring "deutchland " new single reacting elderly and college kids
I can easily picture the lady in the dark suit appears in a Rammstein MV.
Jumpsomedrops true, great way to describe it
Him: "I wish I understood what he was saying. That would really help."
Me (Swiss): "Nope. It would most certainly not."
My mother is 78 ,we are from Argentina and since 20 years ago she is literally hypnotized by Rammstein
My grandma loves RAMMSTEIN and she says that she wants this band to be played in her funeral .lmaoo😂
ilga finara you have an awesome grandma :D
Your grandma is cool! :D

"I wish I understood what he was saying, that would really help." No, it wouldn't.
My thoughts exactly, lol.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
When I listen to Rammstein

Absolutely!
I’ve been listening to them since I was 2 and I’m 18 now I love them so much
*Lindemann: NEIN! NEIN!*
Don: Oh, what a happy, happy song.
Of course they didnt listen Amerika
Right?! I was thinking the same!
And that’s basically one of their most famous songs.

My old man's in his 70's and loves Rammstein. I'm in my 40's and had no idea he'd fall head over heels for industrial metal.
