So glad I've waited for this offering. Have almost pulled the trigger on most of your GMT offerings. But none were quite perfect for me. The white waffle dial is it! Just received tracking details. Can't wait!
@islandwatch after a slight snowstorm delay, it's here. Everything I hoped and more. Being able to track 3 timezones with offices in Ireland and China was key for me. Will be back again!
I've been away from the watch world for a bit, but you're still my favorite. Your watches really give me the feeling brands like Seiko used to give me. No showing off wealth, or talking about how the watch could do 10 Gs in a fighter jet. Just fun designs at a reasonable price. It's like you and your customers are both thinking, "What if we tried this combo for a design?" and it doesn't need to be much more complicated than that. Separate watch heads and bracelets/straps would be sweet though.
Damn nice! I lament the relative lack of dive GMTs out there. So many watches have the 24 hour markings on both the dial and insert. Fine for 3 time zones, but a dive bezel is more useful to me. The fact that you made these SKX based means one could swap the insert to a dive insert all day long. Bravo! And it IS a dive watch after all!
I understand you have to control the cost to offer a competitive price. But the adjustable ratchet clasps on a bracelet really helps complete the overall package. This is a step in the right direction.
I hope the white goes on sale for Christmas holidays. Want to get my first watch and was looking for a silver bezel gmt with a white dial and boom here’s one that is affordable! It’s Perfect
You need to start offering your after market bracelets with that clasp- I think people would love that and pay the premium for that option! Great job on the watch btw :)
I saw this and I simply had to have one. This has awesome speck for the price. I can't wait to get mine in the mail. Mark I love you and TGVs videos. This is gonna be my first michael brand purchase. I'm glad it was yours.
Marc the watch looks awesome! For a personal preference I would like to have seen an orange bezel to match the seconds hand on the white dial .( I saw it on a much more expensive watch and it looked great). Apart from that, the white dial is beautiful. 👍🏻
Two of my buddies have bought linen dials in the last couple months…I love the dials you’ve been releasing. May have to pick one up sooner rather than later.
Great designs and specs as usual, Marc! To my eye, however, the O style bracelet works better on the white and blue color ways and the J style on the two gold ones.
I am so headed to website later today to buy the blue dial version. Excellent color way and I love the Jubilee bracelet. And when you can get stock on these bracelets (with the slide adjust clasp), I'm going to buy another Jubilee for another watch I have.
I may be late in noticing this but, is it just me or did you bring up the quality level of your camera and colour grading 😎👍🏼 Your intro looks great! Not only you have great watches (love the clasp and that "pancacky" crown!), you now have great quality images to showcase them. Thanks for sharing.
Looks absolutely terrific, Marc! And “Islander” looks perfect under the logo! Smart move! As an aside, I had the DD sapphire I purchased from you installed on my Bambino Small Seconds. It absolutely transformed the look.😊👍🏼
I like the blue waffle dial so much that I bought the non-GMT you did like that one. I think that was one of the earliest Ryan designs that made it to the public. I really like the yellow accents on the second hand, and bezel.
Yesssss!!!! The Pouge is my favorite and Im saving for it. You nailed the retro look with a twist of modern. To me the hands should have been of a red tone color. And the 24 hand mabe black. But I know it all comes to manufacturing and costs. But it is a beautiful piece. Also saw the JFK whit cluds. Exquisite touch on the cloud dial.
Looking really good, Mark. Just when I thought I had all the watches, you popped these up. And, yes the blue is amazing. Perhaps the same watch in a deep green? Nicely done.
Technically the Pearl Lauge is actually called engine turning. But marc FANTASTIC job on the new watches yet again you my man are KILLING IT and wish you nothing but years of success with them happy new year
Love the gilt and black man, that thing is pure fire! Reminds me of my Citizen Promaster Diver in black and gilt. Love it on the oyster too. Great job man! Oh, wanted to mention too, picked up one of your Samurai bracelets and it’s fantastic on my King Samurai, so again, great work Marc and your team!
Great watches Marc!, I like the black one and the blue ones the best! What would it add to the cost to regulate the movement? The reason I ask is that every watch I have handled with this movement is running with a beat error of 0.7 min and as high as 1.1 with the exception of Vanbanner which comes in at a 0.1 beat error and it is regulated to +4 seconds per day. Of course this one trumps everything valuewise with the overall construction and that on the fly microadjust. It has to be the best value with the NH34 movement right now. Great work!
Great watches mark. The only think holding me back of buying one is that logo and the "Islander" text on the dial.. take a look at what San Martin did with their logo, which improved the brand 10000%. All the best.
I like how you went with the Islander text under the circular logo. Crazy how you keep offering more for less with the clasp and movement! I got the Brew Metric and white Casio oak with different color words in ‘23 - great minds
The blue dial is awsome! With the 24 hour chapter ring, throw on a dive bezel, total package. I dont need another watch...but i want one of these. Great work.
The waffle white/silver dial is very clean, very cool style! That clasp is really a step up congrats on that micro adjustment on the go. In the version 2.0 would be great the crown ate the 4 o´clock position. Best regards.
I’ve often thought the polar Explorer II would be perfect if the bezel turned (so I could time stuff I cook on the grill). I really like your white version!
Nice.....blue one is very sharp. I used to wear a watch for years a long time ago, but stopped for some reason, even before wireless phones. About every 6 months I go through an "I want a watch" phase, which turns into research, followed by analysis paralysis, and then the urge to buy passes. I visit your site all the time though. You have a lot of nice stuff, and my interest is in the GMT style. I recently saw a "simple mod" to turn the current Seiko GMT into a Pepsi style GMT with sapphire crystal and an angled bezel to soften the watches vertical profile. Not sure there's such a thing as a "simple" watch mod, but the flat bezel is what I don't like about these Seiko style watches. The first one in the video with the metal bezel....if it had the blue sunburst dial, and an angled Pepsi bezel, would meet all of my needs. Gotta watch that mod video one more time. I've replaced the battery on my iPhone, how much harder can swapping a crystal, and bezel be on a watch? Famous last words....
- I appreciate how you kept the crown fairly thin. I hate an oversized crown that wears a hole in the back of your hand. I wish more manufacturers would go with a thin crown.
sweet lord, just as I was eyeing the blue jfk for myself, you guys come out w/ these… btw, friend loved the dark and stormy from windup as a belated retirement gift.
That white dial is super nice. The only thing I'd change would be to make the hands and indices trimmed in black so they would stand out a bit more against the white dial.
Had and skx007 when i was younger and sold it which was a mistake. Went to get another a few years later only to realize they had discontinued them, so i grabbed a SRPD9. Was pretty dissatisfied with the alignment of things and no screw down crown, felt like in comparison went down in quality. Got an ISL-18 and I couldnt be happier with it, just wish the bezel was a little bit tougher to turn.
You beautiful prince! You fixed the clasp and gave us on-the-fly micro adjustment on the bracelet 😊 Okay, now I have serious choices to make... San martin or this :)
@islandwatch Thank you for the reply. That made my day :) I look up to you as a person and respect you greatly. Also, thanks for all the great content and tutorials, etc. I've built a lot of knowledge from you, and I've had hours of enjoyment listening to you here or on the urban gentry. It's great to see someone successful who genuinely seems to deserve it. Cheers!
So much of a watches appeal, at least to me, is in its design language. There are features and aspects I can’t verbally define that just make a watch work…..this one hits hit spot on. Great job
Well well well. After looking for years now, I might have found my watch! And it costs under half of the Swiss one I’m switching out with it, which is a great watch, but has two flaws I can accept, so trying this as a replacement feels like a chance I can take without worrying about it. Ticks all the boxes, and the design is good over all, and the price is competitive even with the high quality/money Chinese brands like San Martin (and leagues above Japanese and Swiss brands when when it comes to value)
Seiko dropped the Ball , Marc picks up the Ball and runs with it , everytime you said waffle , I ate a waffle. Great watches , will pick up the blue one.
Was really excited to see this modern islander SKX GMT pop up on your site so I watched the video for more details and I think you just missed making a must have watch. The jubilee bracelets belong on the blingy gold accented 215 & 223 while the more toolish 214 & 215 should have been paired with the oyster bracelets. At first glance I really like the blue 214 but I can't figure out what's going on with the small lume markers on the inner side of bezel. They seem centered on bezel numbers 2-8 but not 10-24? Sorry Marc it's a pass for me.
Looking great, Marc! -J
thank you, kind sir!
Marc, I love how Islander have developed their own visual style and design since you started. Can't wait to see versions of your Miyota GMT.
So glad I've waited for this offering. Have almost pulled the trigger on most of your GMT offerings. But none were quite perfect for me. The white waffle dial is it! Just received tracking details. Can't wait!
Great to hear!
@islandwatch after a slight snowstorm delay, it's here. Everything I hoped and more. Being able to track 3 timezones with offices in Ireland and China was key for me. Will be back again!
That white dial version is perfection!
thanks!
I've been away from the watch world for a bit, but you're still my favorite.

It's like you and your customers are both thinking, "What if we tried this combo for a design?" and it doesn't need to be much more complicated than that.
Separate watch heads and bracelets/straps would be sweet though.
Your watches just keep getting better. Love it.
thanks!
Really hope there's a 38mm version available, because a lot of us don't have big wrist or don't want a 40mm+ case.
The blue is badass!
I don’t need a 5th Islander… I don’t need a 5th Islander…
Yes you do! And a 6th :)
I'd love an islander dive gmt! Gmt function with a normal dive timing bezel please!!
Good luck, I think I am at 8 now, and trying to resist the next one. I have a thing for GMT watches, so this has been a rough 6 months or so.
Damn nice! I lament the relative lack of dive GMTs out there. So many watches have the 24 hour markings on both the dial and insert. Fine for 3 time zones, but a dive bezel is more useful to me. The blue one is my favorite of these! Marc knockin' outta the park again!
thanks so much.
I hope the white goes on sale for Christmas holidays. Want to get my first watch and was looking for a silver bezel gmt with a white dial and boom here’s one that is affordable! It’s Perfect

Marc doesn't miss! So far every watch he has come out with has a variation or two that I absolutely love!
Two of my buddies have bought linen dials in the last couple months…I love the dials you’ve been releasing. May have to pick one up sooner rather than later.
There is San Martin too,but the case of these are Seiko style which I love, well done Mark😊
The blue is my favorite too!
:)
The gold dial Pogue is my favorite.
thanks for letting us know.
Great designs and specs as usual, Marc! To my eye, however, the O style bracelet works better on the white and blue color ways and the J style on the two gold ones.
Nice work Marc!
Thanks!
Attention to detail MUCH appreciated! Loving the blue and Pogue dials!
I am so headed to website later today to buy the blue dial version. Excellent color way and I love the Jubilee bracelet. And when you can get stock on these bracelets (with the slide adjust clasp), I'm going to buy another Jubilee for another watch I have.
thanks Mike, and thanks for the suggestion
Marc is killing it! Love everything you are doing!
Best Islander yet for me! Knocked it out of the park. Cheers.
I may be late in noticing this but, is it just me or did you bring up the quality level of your camera and colour grading 😎👍🏼

Great job on the dial text font, especially the depth rating in italics - small detail but it really elevates this line now.
Bravo!!! If any of these are still in stock when the times is right for me to add a gmt to my collection, I think it might have to be an islander!
These are gorgeous and exactly what I am looking for, it's just a bit too big. Would you ever consider doing a 38 or 39 mm version?
I like them. Blue and the Gold dials are my two favorites.
These look great Marc. Although they are very appealing, I'll hold out for your Miyota 9075 based GMTS.
That orange-GMT-on-white-dial look is proving to be timeless (and surprisingly versatile.)
I finally bit off on the white dial version today. I cannot wait to get it 👍
The blue dial might have to be next.
the white dialed Lume speacking of 8bit. the waffle reflection looks amazing.
thanks!
I have been watching your channel for awhile and love the new watches! The blue looks awesome!
Looking really good, Mark. Just when I thought I had all the watches, you popped these up. And, yes the blue is amazing. Perhaps the same watch in a deep green? Nicely done.
The blue dial is stunning!
Very Nice Marc! The clasp is freaking awesome! The white dial is my favorite!
Technically the Pearl Lauge is actually called engine turning. But marc FANTASTIC job on the new watches yet again you my man are KILLING IT and wish you nothing but years of success with them happy new year

Sorry, that's something we don't offer. Just doesn't fit with our sales model.
Outstanding Marc, I hope you sell a million of them. You know how to design a watch!
These looks so good Marc. I was wondering though if you guys plan to work with the Miyota-9075 for people who prefer a true GMT?
Seconded.
we will
Both are "true" GMTs. One is a caller GMT and the other is a traveler GMT.
Me too! No more GMTs for me until I get a 9075.
Wow, these are amazing! Now just to decide between white or blue... 😮
Great watches mark. The only think holding me back of buying one is that logo and the "Islander" text on the dial.. take a look at what San Martin did with their logo, which improved the brand 10000%.

hi Mark, i just received your skeleton watch and i absolutely love it.
thank you Mark.
Great looking watches!! I like the blue and the pough!! I really like the micro adjust too.
The blue dial is awsome! With the 24 hour chapter ring, throw on a dive bezel, total package. I dont need another watch...but i want one of these. Great work.
Thanks!
That blue waffle GMT is 🔥🔥 going to pick one up for my dad.
That white gmt is sick, love it.
The waffle white/silver dial is very clean, very cool style! That clasp is really a step up congrats on that micro adjustment on the go. In the version 2.0 would be great the crown ate the 4 o´clock position. Best regards.
Thanks a bunch!
I’ve often thought the polar Explorer II would be perfect if the bezel turned (so I could time stuff I cook on the grill). I really like your white version!
thanks so much. seems alot of other folks like it too!

Superb! ALSO Happy New Year to you and all your team Marc!👍👍
Stunning - one of these will be my next purchase!
That Black guild version is sweet!
sure is, thank you.
- I appreciate how you kept the crown fairly thin. I hate an oversized crown that wears a hole in the back of your hand. I wish more manufacturers would go with a thin crown.
Blue one is really nice... great job on this collection!
Sweet looking watches!
Potential name: Islander Commuter
Yes! black & gold. Hopefully we see a black & gold diver.
Blue looks cool
sweet lord, just as I was eyeing the blue jfk for myself, you guys come out w/ these…
btw, friend loved the dark and stormy from windup as a belated retirement gift.
Looks waffly good! 😅 put a Miyota 9075 in it, and I’d be willing to pay a little extra!
Beautiful watch!
Any plans for a unidirectional diving bezel version?
That white dial is super nice. The only thing I'd change would be to make the hands and indices trimmed in black so they would stand out a bit more against the white dial.
Okay, thanks
What color do you think they’re trimmed in . Looks like black to me.
They are the same color as the case. They might look black when the light hits them just right.@@trappedindc8678
Had and skx007 when i was younger and sold it which was a mistake. Went to get another a few years later only to realize they had discontinued them, so i grabbed a SRPD9. Very well priced. Good looking watches
You beautiful prince! You fixed the clasp and gave us on-the-fly micro adjustment on the bracelet 😊

You’re welcome 😊
@islandwatch Thank you for the reply. That made my day :)

It's great to see someone successful who genuinely seems to deserve it.
Cheers!
The blue dial with yellow gmt hand looks great, and those are the colors of my Alma Mater.
Beautiful watches. I really do hope Islander brings back the GMT JFK with this new clasp.
Very nice looking with a lot of attention to detail.
Beautiful watches Marc.
Loving the blue and the gold face. Tempting lol
Awesome watch. Reminds me of an explorer 2
Great looking watches! My personal request however is to bring back the Republic GMT with a lumed 24-hour chapter ring and timer bezel.
Mechanically speaking what makes the toolless micro-adjustment different than a diver's extension? The fixed positions?
Everything is awesome but would be better (and willing to pay the difference) for the Miyota GMT movement. Great work though Marc!
So much of a watches appeal, at least to me, is in its design language. There are features and aspects I can’t verbally define that just make a watch work…..this one hits hit spot on. Great job
thank you!
These look great, any plans to do a smaller version?
I love that clasp.
Well well well. After looking for years now, I might have found my watch! And it costs under half of the Swiss one I’m switching out with it, which is a great watch, but has two flaws I can accept, so trying this as a replacement feels like a chance I can take without worrying about it. Looks great I wish they had a black and silver model.
Nice looking watches!
This morning I was thinking, what are those guys at Island Watch up to - it’s been awhile then BOOM - homerun!!
Seiko dropped the Ball , Marc picks up the Ball and runs with it , everytime you said waffle , I ate a waffle.
Great watches , will pick up the blue one.
I can’t decide between blue and white 🤩 😅
Any chance to make it as the Longiness Zulu GMT ? 39 / 38.5 ?
Was really excited to see this modern islander SKX GMT pop up on your site so I watched the video for more details and I think you just missed making a must have watch. The jubilee bracelets belong on the blingy gold accented 215 & 223 while the more toolish 214 & 215 should have been paired with the oyster bracelets. Sorry Marc it's a pass for me.
I love these watches but sadly its unlikely I will fit them. Do you have any 45mm divers?
white dial with steel bezel, very nice
Yes indeed!
Love the watches, would love to see a 38mm version w/ a timing bezel & 24hr GMT chapter ring.
I'd love an islander dive gmt! Gmt function with a normal dive timing bezel please!
All great colors, love the blue, the clasp is a little chunky, but still a nice watch overall
It is, but it is cozy.
wow another homerun mark. I love the ISL-215.
