A nice brownie, I thought he should have kept the rod up more, getting close to having it horizontal which would put a lot of strain on the line. All worked out good, nice fish,nice video thank you.

I dont understand why people don't get that. Most big fish die after the release because there tired from the fight and can't swim and go belly up. I always keep my bigger fish in my net in the water till there ready to go

All that effort to seemingly keep the fish alive, but just HAD to pull it from the water to get the photos. And if read up on the Ferguson/Tufts study, greatly increased the chances that killed it. Don't pull an exhausted fish out of the water. Imagine being exhausted yourself, and someone holding your head under water.

I BBQ big ones like that. Usually find big crayfish in the stomach. Amazing eating and there's still big fish in the system every year

I dunno. I dislike this, why not just use a speargun? This isn't fishing this is hunting. Make it eat bait and then shoot it? "Net it" i get thin lines and even thinner leaders but if you can't get the fish to shore or the boat and your line breaks thats apart of it no?
