Heyo there. Literally just watched you reacting to stupid comments. May your sanity have healed. Really looking forward to the next video maybe something similar to the "L3 vs Battleship" would be cool. Have a nice day !
I mean if they added it there will be mayor problems with most early or prototype tanks Even most finished designs would have problems if it was accurate
It kinda surprises me that we don't have the whole "can run without tracks" thing already. It's one of the main things with the Christie suspension and we already have a system in game to change how a vehicle operates (VFW and the wide tracks that German vehicles have).
Ive been saying for years that gaijin should add a feature to the BT tanks that getting tracked doesnt affect them too badly, maybe causing a pull to the tracked side to compensate for things, or at least decrease their track repair times due to this configuration And other similarly designed vehicles too
T-34 Chan If you do a *little* bit of research and you'll see the BT-42 wasn't good at anti-tank warfare. On the surface of looking at the internet (Wikipedia), the tank was extreme unpopular in the Finnish military. The new turret stressed the suspension and engine of the vehicle. The shells they used against the enemy also had big problems. One BT-42 shot a T-34 18 and didn't even immobilize the vehicle. So unless they used proper working shells, which never happened, this thing would've been taken out by a BT-5/7. The fuses on the shells weren't made properly so that was the problem. So yeah that's just my look at the Wikipedia article but if you feel like correcting me on anything I guess you can. I mean on the bright side it was good against pillboxes so that's one thing. Why did I write a long comment

I would really like the "Remove Tracks" option for my favourite tank. It might be useful on city maps like cargo port. I personally use a custom skin without the tracks. Furthermore, I was wondering what preparations does it take to switch to driving mode? For example, in the ridiculous scenario that both of your tracks got shot off, how hard would it be to just drive away on the road wheels? Thank you so much for this video comrade!
It wouldnt be possible to just drive off your tracks becausr they were shot off, in the bt7 if i remember correctly it had a gear cap the crew would be able to put on to complete a gear system that transfers the upper back drive wheels to the back road wheels, pretty much like a bike chain
If war thunder wanted REAL historical accuracy then they would make a mechanic that makes the BT series un-trackable but probably have a wait time to detach the other track
You forgot to mention that early war soviet tanks were not given enough ammo for training leading to reduced crew skill and a chance to spawn in with less then full ammo.
