  • In this video, I perform a basic tune up on a Kawasaki FX600V engine on a Ferris F60Z / Snapper S50XT commercial zero turn mower. At 32 hours it probably didn't need this, but since its history is unknown, I decided to do it anyway. I also checked the compression in both cylinders to serve as a base line for the future

Definitely sounds better after the tuneup.

I found an oil tube extended on e bay , makes it a lot cleaner while draining the oil.

I would drill a hole for it or add my own hose extension for the oil. I would have specd the torque specs on those plugs, especially with Anti seize. I was also comparing the Ferris to it's cousin Snapper Pro S50, along with the Gravely Compact Pro 44. What made you go the Ferris route?

I went Ferris for two primary reasons: seat is supposed to be better than on the Snapper Pro, and it was available in my area. Love the mower so far!

What do you gap the spare plug at?

Never mind the plug is factory set I asked too soon.
