Kyah_ Bell thank you for clarifying! I just assumed so since I was hooked onto a machine. Regardless, I always thought the epidural was a one time shot and that’s it lol
According to science women actually forget how painful the whole process is, like you remember it was painful but not the intensity it was so that women can go through it again in the future. Your body is betraying you and sht 😭
I've had 3 children with out an epidural and I have definitely not forgotten the pain. It's kinda hard to forget feeling like you're being split open through your vagina. Maybe some forget how bad it was but definitely not all.
As a teenage girl watching, this taught me WAY more than my high school health class. Thank you for being so open about it! Talking about childbirth like this should be more normalized
Am I the only one who would really like to have a child someday, but knows that they will never be able to go through the pregnancy and child birth? Honestly it's so unfair that women have to go through all of that. I'm watching this video and just listening to her explaining everything makes me squirm and brings me to tears, i could never go through that pain, it's like a genuine phobia of mine. :(
It's totally normal to feel this way. There's a lot of trauma that occurs with pregnancy/childbirth that people aren't transparent about. You have other options to have a child besides giving birth, so I hope you won't feel like that's the only way. Edit: by people, I mean our society as a whole. But you have choices and your body is your own =)
I think most women who haven't given birth yet feel that way, especially if you're still very young. I also want to have kids in the future and I'm quite scared of the pain, but look at the mothers who did it. They survived. And a lot of them say that once they hold their child in their arms, they've already forgotten about the pain. Especially with first world medical care, I'm sure the doctors and nurses will absolutely do their best to get you through the process of giving birth safely. But it's up to you, you can also adopt a child if you like. You would give a child whose true parents have given up on (or even died) a new and loving home. So that's also as good as an option as having a kid on your own. Just know that us women are biologically "equipped" to give birth, our bodies are made for this. So have also trust in your female body that it can handle that :)
It's like when you get a vaccine or something like that, it's a little pain for a second but it doesn't hurt. What hurts is the post bee sting when you try to take it out, damn do not recommend 😂

@@mariachristina91 & complain about how tired they are waiting. I hate to see birth vlogs where the girls giving birth are asking their partners if they're ok. He should be asking you.
BintAlZahraa91 yeah me too! Life is just unfair no matter how much people want to make it fair - it just biologically isn’t. Genders are real and women and men are different! But should be equal in front of the law.
Feel lucky that you are not a woman from ages ago. Dying due to complications of childbirth is a common way of death for women back then. Yet they were treated like shit when they are the ones who suffer in reproduction (all guys have to do is to ejaculate in women and that’s it). And society expects them to be child bearing machines as well. My advice is, either get yourself a guy who can spoil you like a brat so that you’ll be treated well during pregnancy and childbirth or just don’t give birth to a child at all. If other people tell you to give birth when you are scared or don’t want to, tell them to go fuck themselves and give birth to a baby if they want it so much. It’s your body, no one else but you have to right to govern it. Childbirth is painful and it puts a toll on the body. It’s a lower risk now but you can still die from it (and yes, humans are basically the only mammals that pay such a high price for reproduction. Because we can walk).
I love how raw and open you are with the details! This video makes me feel more comfortable about the idea of giving birth! Thank you and thank you for sharing!
I’m 26 and so scared of childbirth even pregnancy! This makes me a little less worried! I felt so bad when you threw up! You look amazing and Kavon is so adorable!
I love that you go into detail. Not many women are comfortable talking about this subject, so it’s hard to really know what to expect or how to prepare.
I gave birth the day after you did and it literally wasn’t as bad as everyone was telling me I actually didn’t even realize i was in labor until i was already 8cm
I love how you are so open about child birth. It’s very educational, even just your own knowledge and experiences. Thank you for sharing 💕 been watching you for years girl, love watching you grow into a beautiful young woman and now mother 🥰
I also had a positive birth experience on January 9,2019❤️ I gave birth to my first baby boy and it was the most beautiful experience. I got the epidural when I was open to 5 and when it was time to push they disconnected it because I couldn’t feel any pain to push so I felt the entire pain but it was worth it. The jiggly will not go away 😭
I have been terrified of this since I found out I was pregnant and you’ve honestly eased that worry in my brain soooo much. It’s also good to be prepared for the worst but to hear that it’s not all hell is so comforting. Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm due February 13, 2022 and I've heard nothing but horror stories and it's made me so terrified of giving birth and scared of the recovery afterwords that I was not looking forward to February at all. You've calmed my nerves so much and make me look forward to meeting our little man now in Feb. So thank you!
Love that your experience wasn’t as bad as what you thought but definitely don’t under estimate how bad it can be! My experiences were pretty traumatic but at the same time I’m super proud that I got through it and did it!
@Vivien Lerner Normally if the babies are spread apart isn't it okay to have a natural birth? I know one year might be too risky my aunt had all three of her kids 1 year apart with C-section because they told her she had one with her first baby
This was the best post pregnancy experience ever! The tearing of the labia kinda made me uncomfortable but thanks for discussing what that’s like! I’m a nurse so I’m pretty familiar with procedures but experiences are unique! Love from Canada 🥰
Being pregnant is one of the most blessed thing that can ever happen to you but one of the worst pain ever. S/O to the mother's out there including my mommy !
Giiiirl!! I gave birth to my second baby two months before you did & i LOVE the experiences!!! It honestly isnt as bad as they say. Its just like wanting to poop but them telling you not to & once the baby is out all the pain goes away! Us women are amazing 💪🏻
I had a really rough labour and I am now 4 months post partum. Honestly, you forget about the pain so quickly afterwards and when you are in the moment you are just in survival mode almost like an out of body experience. Even if it sounds scary, when it is YOU actually going through it those thoughts don't even go through your head. After you bond with your baby you realize you would go through it a hundred times over because you love them so much. Every single woman has the strength and power to get through labour!!!
I’m so happy you’re giving us the tea on this. Like you, I’m super scared to go to the doctor, get tests, etc., and I’ve always wanted kids, but I’m horrified of giving birth and the pain. However, watching your series during your pregnancy and now going into mommyhood, I now feel like it is something I can do in the future, when I decide to have a baby. Thank you so much for the information and assurance Naz!
Due June 8 & you have made me feel better. Also thanks for constantly posting on IG messages toward those of us who are pregnant and don’t get to have baby showers of have a regular experience because of Covid-19. Always lifts my spirit up reading your posts 👏🏾💞
Thankful for UA-camrs like you who don't mind spilling all the tea, no matter how "TMI" it is. I'm pregnant with my first baby due Sept. 18th and your videos help sooo much. Love you💜
Naz is such a trooper bro childbirth seems so crazy. I’m so grateful that she talks about the WHOLE experience, it honestly just makes me so excited to get pregnant 😂 Its so refreshing to hear about the process from someone who you can trust ya know
This video is very relatable. I had a baby 7 months ago and it was not as bad as people say. Childbirth is a different experience for everyone. It’s definitely the most rewarding and beautiful thing that we as women can do with our bodies. You look stunning darling! 🤍 congratulations on your little baby angel 👼🏼
Yes pregnancy is beautiful and all but I am glad you are keeping it real. Not to scare anyone, but I’m over the glamorization of delivering. It’s tough, it’s painful, but it’ll all be worth it!
the video that should be shown to every woman who is pregnant, who wants to get pregnant. super educational and informative. many women are afraid because they simply do not know what will happen. this video literally prepares a lot any woman who is going to give birth. wonderful video congratulations. ☘️
Hi there! I am a student and have seen several deliveries. The placenta is gently pulled out after the baby is delivered with little to no pain. Most mommas don't realize it because they are so in love with meeting their baby just like you 😊
And yess !!! My vagina is considered an “outtie “ (yes I know TMI) but my labia is more out then some girls and after I gave birth my labia was soo small!!!! Like my vagina looked BETTER after birth 😭😭🤣🤣🤣 thank godddd
I don’t even have children and I am like seriously terriefied to even have one, one day (in two years time) and listening you calmed me down. Like people don’t understand why am I so afraid to even give birth but some have said it’s so bad that thinking about it makes me wanna cry. Thanks for being so honest. ❤️
I just had my 3rd child on February 8th and ya’ll she was 11lbs13oz. I gave birth to her all natural no epidural. 😩 and believe it or not, it feels like I didn’t even give birth. I even snapped back to pre-pregnancy weight. It’s amazing what a women’s body can do.💜💜💜
I’m due in 3 weeks and I’ve been worrying so much about giving birth. I have been so scared and emotional, I’ve been doubting myself so much! Lol girl, thank you so much for this video! Such a change from what people keep telling me about childbirth.
Please do research on immediate & possible lingering & long term effects of epidurals. I had one my first delivery 10.5 years ago. I chose a natural labor for my second. (Even being induced, foley & pitocin +12 hr labor.) My second labor, delivery & recovery was 1000X better. I’m going the same route this time.
I gave birth 6 days ago and I went to the hospital begging for the epidural and I was already ready to push once they checked me 😭😭😭 i cried lol Also I felt the placenta come out! I had to push it out once another contraction came. It was painful lol i’m assuming cause i went natural
THANKYOU for being so open honest and transparent about your experiences! It honestly makes all the difference when you're worried about these things and you get to hear an honest and frank talk through about it all! It's definitely reassured me alot about giving birth! Hope you, Mel & sweet Kavon are doing well. 💙
I promise u i’m watching all of your pregnancy videos again one day when i’m pregnant 😭 thank you for being so open about it !!! I’m def one of those people thats TERRIFIED of giving birth but hearing you be so open and answering all these questions makes me see childbirth in a better perspective
Shout out to Naz for always keeping it real! This video actually did make me feel a lot better, especially when you mentioned how fast “down there” heals. What scares me the most about childbirth in the future is postpartum sex 😬 if you’re comfortable with it, even the basics, I’d be interested to hear about that
thank you so much for this! i’m only 17 tho but i’ve always thought bout being so scared when i eventually do have a baby like u omg but now you made me feel so much better bout it! thank you i love you lots congrats again💕💕
Honestly, for those that are scared, it really depends on the person when it comes to childbirth. I had some friends and family who were all fine with childbirth whiles others could not take it at all even with a epidural. Shiii when i have kids in the future, expect the worst and pray for the best 😂😂😂
Yes girl! Everyone is different. My first son I was 17 years old & had the epidural. With my 2nd & 3rd I did it natural! It all depends on the woman. I have 2 videos on my last 2 deliveries if anyone is interested in seeing a natural delivery. ☺️ GOOD LUCK to all the pregnant mommies. You got this! Our bodies are meant for this. 💪🏼
I agree. I had my first baby January 2020 and I didn’t get an epidural. The only thing that I hated was the back pain it was so intense. I would much prefer to push and feel the burning sensation as opposed to experience the back pain that I had while I had contractions. It was the worst pain ever
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! I hate when people say tmi and shy away from such important subjects. I don’t plan on having kids anytime soon but I do want to and this is so important
Hey Naz! I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant and love watching your pregnancy videos. They have helped a lot and it is amazing to be able to get another woman’s help with everything! Thank you 💗
Your birth story sounds amazing!!Everyone is different. When you say people love to tell you their horror stories it’s not that. Just everyone is different , my birth with my first baby went soooooo differently than yours. Not even close to what you went through. Everyone is just different. People just like to share their experiences just in case you go through it as well. I’m so happy your experience was wonderful❤️ You and Mel sounds like you guys are already doing an amazing job❤️
THE NEEDLE DOES NOT STAY IN YOUR BACK ! there’s a tube put in place and the needle is removed . So there is a tube hanging out of you .
Thank god I was so scared when she said that
They leave the tube just in case you begin to feel the contractions again
It’s a catheter like tube it’s taped town and secured don’t worry about it moving / coming out. also, contractions will hurt more than the actual epi
Lmao I was about to comment that too 😂 Naz don’t scare them! 😂

This video made me cry for some reason. You’re so strong! I’m currently 2 months pregnant and i’m terrified of giving birth. But this video gave me a lot of confidence and hope everything will be okay. Thank you Naz 🙏🏻🤍
I’m really glad for the women who have someone with them throughout pregnancy, child birth, child raising
i'm still scared LOL i wish i was a guy. u get to have a baby with none of the pain lmao
MakeupEnimsaj Girrrrl rigggght! While we’re dying in pain, they’re just there watching. 😭
Because we can walk).
guys go through a different kind of hardship
I love how raw and open you are with the details! This video makes me feel more comfortable about the idea of giving birth! Thank you and thank you for sharing!
I’m 26 and so scared of childbirth even pregnancy! This makes me a little less worried! I felt so bad when you threw up! You look amazing and Kavon is so adorable!
Daisy MaKayla same..I’m 28 ...I think I’m gonna have to adopt 🤣
PV right! Haha like I cannot imagine myself giving birth!
I love that you go into detail. Not many women are comfortable talking about this subject, so it’s hard to really know what to expect or how to prepare.
I gave birth the day after you did and it literally wasn’t as bad as everyone was telling me I actually didn’t even realize i was in labor until i was already 8cm
Congrats ♥️😌 lucky you
Good lawd! Lol congratulations to you ! ❤️ I have 5 weeks left 😖 I’m scared
that’s my bday congratulations 🥰
I’ve given birth twice now, all natural and I really don’t think it was that bad either.
Omg congrats! That’s amazing!
I love how you are so open about child birth. It’s very educational, even just your own knowledge and experiences. Thank you for sharing 💕 been watching you for years girl, love watching you grow into a beautiful young woman and now mother 🥰
You're literally the prettiest lady I have ever seen. Tbh i got more scared after watching this because I have always wanted to be a mom
Congrats!!❤️❤️
I have been terrified of this since I found out I was pregnant and you’ve honestly eased that worry in my brain soooo much. It’s also good to be prepared for the worst but to hear that it’s not all hell is so comforting. Thank you!!!
I’m 20 weeks pregnant with my baby girl ❤️
Congratulations! I'm 20 weeks with my baby boy💙
Congratulations🤗❤
Congratulations
I’m 19 Weeks💖 congratulations all!
@@neivasanchez2044 Aweee, Congratulations. How exciting!!
She’s so real and straight up about everything I love it 😂❤️
Love that your experience wasn’t as bad as what you thought but definitely don’t under estimate how bad it can be! My experiences were pretty traumatic but at the same time I’m super proud that I got through it and did it!
Had a emergency c-section with twins last year & now I’m pregnant again & I’m sooo scared to give natural birth if It’s one baby 😩🤍 love you
Yasmin you’ll be amazing trust in yourself
My aunty appointment is in a lon time to see if its twins or not how can u tell if its twins or single
@Vivien Lerner Normally if the babies are spread apart isn't it okay to have a natural birth? I know one year might be too risky my aunt had all three of her kids 1 year apart with C-section because they told her she had one with her first baby
@Vivien Lerner this isnt true. Ask you dr for a VBAC. Also watch the business of being born. And also check out birthing centers in your area
The “oh hell no” took me 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Rach Riri Girl I died laughing
Naz: I had 2nd degree tears...
Also Naz: I hope I make you guys feel comfortable. Childbirth isnt that terrifying
My face the whole time: 😭
Naz congratulations! ❤️ I’m Iranian too 🇮🇷 and I love seeing the multiculturalism! Baby Kavon is beautiful mashallah
Due June 8 & you have made me feel better. Also thanks for constantly posting on IG messages toward those of us who are pregnant and don’t get to have baby showers of have a regular experience because of Covid-19. Always lifts my spirit up reading your posts 👏🏾💞
Thanks for being so raw 💙 he is so handsome!! You guys are amazing parents 😍
☘️
I’m due in September and I’m scared to watch this! Lol
You’ll be okay girl I was so scared too but everything was okay I was induced too ❤️
I'm due September 13 and I'm still scared even tho it's my 5th pregnancy
Due September 9th!! So scared 😭 we’re almost there
Hi there! I am a student and have seen several deliveries. The placenta is gently pulled out after the baby is delivered with little to no pain. Most mommas don't realize it because they are so in love with meeting their baby just like you 😊
Childbirth is still very terrifying to me but for all Naz went through, you're a champ lol!!!!!
you are GLOWING in this video! you’re so beautiful!!
And yess !!! My vagina is considered an “outtie “ (yes I know TMI) but my labia is more out then some girls and after I gave birth my labia was soo small!!!! Like my vagina looked BETTER after birth 😭😭🤣🤣🤣 thank godddd
GIRL SAME
Omg same !!!!
SAMEEE
Um maybe TMI but I hope this happens to me when I give birth in a few months 😭😭
Really? It made it better instead of looser like a bigger labia?
I don’t even have children and I am like seriously terriefied to even have one, one day (in two years time) and listening you calmed me down. Like people don’t understand why am I so afraid to even give birth but some have said it’s so bad that thinking about it makes me wanna cry. Thanks for being so honest. ❤️
No one:
Me: *watching this even tho i'll probably never get pregnant because I want to adopt*
Nihal Nihal but she probably doesn’t want to
Haha same. I've already warned my mum 😂
I feel like becoming a mom has made you so much more down to earth, you already were but now it's like emphasized! love you naz❤️
I’m due May 14th💓😩
Congratulations!!
Congratulations!!!!
Congratualtions!!
I just had my 3rd child on February 8th and ya’ll she was 11lbs13oz. I gave birth to her all natural no epidural. 😩 and believe it or not, it feels like I didn’t even give birth. I even snapped back to pre-pregnancy weight. It’s amazing what a women’s body can do.💜💜💜
I’m due in like a week and I’ve been so scared and nervous for after birth 😭 your video made me feel a lot better! Thank you ❤️
Jovana Benavides baby here yet lol ?
I’m due in 3 weeks and I’ve been worrying so much about giving birth. I have been so scared and emotional, I’ve been doubting myself so much! Lol girl, thank you so much for this video! Such a change from what people keep telling me about childbirth.
Recently found out I'm pregnant, due in December. This video is super helpful and informative, thank you! You look beautiful ❤
Jack Wolf Same here 😊❤️
Congratulations 😍
Thank you for sharing your experience and for not making it sound as terrifying as everyone else does
I love how your not leaving anything out! Thank you for being honest Queen 💞❤️❤️❤️
I gave birth 6 days ago and I went to the hospital begging for the epidural and I was already ready to push once they checked me 😭😭😭 i cried lol
Also I felt the placenta come out!
*me on my period with no plans to have a kid*
ah yes useful information
I promise u i’m watching all of your pregnancy videos again one day when i’m pregnant 😭 thank you for being so open about it !!! I’m def one of those people thats TERRIFIED of giving birth but hearing you be so open and answering all these questions makes me see childbirth in a better perspective
I love how you’re sharing your pregnancy experience!! It’s nice to see such a positive perspective on everything! 🤗💕💕
Shout out to Naz for always keeping it real! This video actually did make me feel a lot better, especially when you mentioned how fast “down there” heals. What scares me the most about childbirth in the future is postpartum sex 😬 if you’re comfortable with it, even the basics, I’d be interested to hear about that
I’m due May 7th 2020 and this makes me feel so much better about having my baby girl 🙌🏻♥️ thank you for sharing Naz 🥰
I shared my positive story on my channel too. It’s honestly not all horror stories . You’ll do amazing trust me
You're giving birth to a taurus🐂😍
Congratulations !!
that's my birthday lol
Omg congrats Dariela!! ❤️❤️
thank you so much for this! i’m only 17 tho but i’ve always thought bout being so scared when i eventually do have a baby like u omg but now you made me feel so much better bout it! thank you i love you lots congrats again💕💕
Honestly, for those that are scared, it really depends on the person when it comes to childbirth. I had some friends and family who were all fine with childbirth whiles others could not take it at all even with a epidural. Shiii when i have kids in the future, expect the worst and pray for the best 😂😂😂
Saki the instigator spot on lol . I had two births both with just gas and air
Yess agree !
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! I hate when people say tmi and shy away from such important subjects. I don’t plan on having kids anytime soon but I do want to and this is so important
You glow in a different way for sure! Looking so gorgeous 💙💙😭
Hey Naz! I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant and love watching your pregnancy videos. They have helped a lot and it is amazing to be able to get another woman’s help with everything! Thank you 💗
Had my first ultrasound last week, I’m 7 weeks pregnant💖 nervous to watch this😅
alexis brissette congratulations
alexis brissette omg I am too how exciting congrats 💓
Omg congrats !! I’m 8 weeks !
Gabi and Tino thank you so much!
Michelle Mendez aww thank you so much congrats to you too!🤰🏻❤️
not even pregnant but it made me emotional and confident. i love you!!!
The needle doesnt actually stay in your back its tubing that goes through the needle
