    Great video!
    My top of the best place and the most impressive countries in South America!
    1. PERU is definitely the most amazing country and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan of #Transformers and I know that this latest installment was filmed in Peru! hahah this country has the best landscapes in the region! and the best food in the world. LOVE PERUVIAN FOOD!
    2. Brazil I love the beaches and the Latin party, I love Brazil for the passion of the people, friendly people.
    3. Argentina is the closest thing to Europe in South America! They have to take "Tango" classes in Buenos Aires!
    4.Ecuador, it is small but it is a small world! It has everything a little.
    5.Colombia this country has the best coffee you will taste in your life.

      Brazil is so European if you travel in South states or Minas gerais historical cities , some cities in Sao Paulo like Campos do Jordao is like germany . Try to go back to Brazil and know Brazil besides foz do iguacu and Rio. Talking about Rio de Janeiro state not the city .there are some many Europeans cities on the mountains of Rio de Janeiro state . Brazil is many countries and a country. For e as Italian Brazil and Argentina are great

      People say I travel in Brazil. Where in Brazil? I can't believe you visit Brazil. Only some cities . A country like Brazil only one state is bigger than Peru. Please you need to return to brazil . I didn't see this beauty like you said in Peru. I 've got robbed 4 times in Peru. Lima was a disaster, cuzco they over charged me , arequipa they robbed my shoes and my money, and on the rainbow mountains they robbed me and my friends . It was a terrible experience . It's beautiful some parts but the rest were terrible . Lima is so ugly ,arequipa is so dry .

    Hi, definitely South America is the best continent to travel, the best landscapes, Iguazu falls, Patagonia Chilean and Argentinian, Perito Moreno glacier, Titicaca Lake, Uyuni salts, Galapagos Island and Tayrona beaches, historical cities like Quito, Cuzco, Cartagena de Indias and Salvador de Bahia, there isn't another continent with a lot of places to visit, South America has the best of the whole world

    Hey, I’m looking into travelling South America some point soon. Could you recommend when the best months are ie the dry hot season? Thank you

    • @AlikiTravelBlog
      @AlikiTravelBlog  2 роки тому

      oo nice you will love it! It is such a big continent there is no one time. For each country it is different. But ideally if you start in Colombia in January and then make your way down. That is how you are going to stay in the 'dry season'. Because by march it starts to rain in Colombia but lower down it is dry season. So I did Colombia - Ecuador - Peru - Bolivia - Brazil purpously because of weather. I basically followed the 'dry season'. Also it was important for me to be in Brazil in 'winter' (European summer) because summer in Brazil is like +40 and I can't deal with that :D :D even locals say it is like hell :D

  • @briantravelman

    Okay, Iguazu I agree. I haven't been yet, but definitely seems better than Victoria, but I agree that it's so hard and expensive to get to, unless you book a separate flight from Buenos Aires, which is why I haven't been yet, but definitely on my bucketlist.
    Uyuni, maybe for Europeans and Asians this is impressive, but we have much nicer salt flats in the States, so this place wouldn't interest me.
    Same with the Amazon. It used to fascinate me as a kid, now I wanna stay away from the jungle. Once you've seen one rainforest, you've seen it all. I hate bugs and I had a bad experience with the rainforest. So uh uh, no no😂
    And I still don't know how either of those could rank higher than Machu Picchu.
    Rio, most Brazilians will tell you to steer clear of this place.
    As for the rest, I've only been to Peru and Chile. I have to agree with you that Peru is the best. If Venezuela was safe, I would probably say Venezuela. Colombia and Ecuador also seem cool. 😊

    • @AlikiTravelBlog
      @AlikiTravelBlog  2 роки тому +1

      hahah nice one, love all the comments. Interesting about the salt flats, I didn't know you have them in States. Amazon...well I love spiders :D so I guess we are very different in that way! Yes, I get your comment about MP, BUT I did love MP visit and everything around it, it is amazing, it is just soooo hard to pick your absolute favorites but i had to follow my heart :) totally disagree about Rio and Brazilians. They are so proud of their country and cities, and I absolutely loved Rio, I want to digital nomad there haha
      Uh yes, Chile and Venezuela is still on my list! What is the best, must visit place in Chile? :)

    • @briantravelman
      @briantravelman 2 роки тому +1

      @@AlikiTravelBlog Really? I'm surprised you haven't. Bonneville and Badwater are the two most famous. Yeah, I hate Spiders and anything that flies, so no thanks. I went hiking in the rainforest in Grenada and I got two parasites, one in my foot and one in my ass. I've never experienced such excruciating pain. It felt like someone was poking me with a hot skewer. They were in there for like 2 months before I finally went to a doctor. At that point I was starting to lose sensation in my legs. The doctor gave me some anti-parasitics and it ended my agony in 2 days. I don't even want to think about what would've happened if I waited any longer. So yeah, no more rainforest for me, at least not off well established paths.
      There's a lot of crime though. I've had both Brazilians and non Brazilians tell me they didn't feel safe in that city.
      Well, I only visited Central Chile, but as a European you'd probably love Torres del Paine and El Tatio. Also heard good things about Valdivia and Chiloe, and you must visit Easter Island of course.
      Santiago, which is where I stayed, is worth visiting for a few days. Viña del Mar I would skip. There's nothing interesting there, and lots of drug users and homelesses.
      Valparaiso, most of the city is very rundown and unsafe, though if you survived Rio, I'm certain you'd be fine in Valpo. It does have some nice areas and sites, and it's so iconic that you may not wanna skip it, just be prepared that most of it doesn't look like the post cards. It's one of those places you'll either love or hate. The city definitely isn't for everyone and it takes a certain kind of person to appreciate it's a grit. I'll just say, "I wanted to see Valpo and I did."

Off course they are not that big ,They are the size of two states in Brazil or Argentina. And Peru and Colombia don't have lots of cities to go. You can not say that about Argentina and Brazil because both countries are huge a continent in a continent . Try to go to other places in Argentina or Brazil than you gonna change your mind . Only Brazil has 5568 cities for to jump some conclusions . I loved Peru and Colombia too .But they don't have the beauty of Argentina or Brazil. The infracture n Brazil is great .hotels ,food and beautiful people . I am Italian and I travel every year in latin America. Trust me latin America is Beyond machopichu and cartajena .
