Hi, do you have any video to get out the belt cover, to renew the glue flange on it? I have a leak around that cover down there. A lot of things to remove...
This method of replacing the radial shaft seal by you had many problems. First, you should definitely clean the area from accumulated oil, secondly, you should lubricate the gasket with good grease, and finally, you should use a flat tool to fit it and do not hit it directly.
Hi there, good day! Can this method can be done on Mercedes Musso 2.9TD. I want to replace the crankshaft seal, It is dripping oil badly. Thanks, keep it up!
Why did not you show the Woodrow key on the crankshaft? Are sure it is still on the shaft and did not fall from the grove into the sump? After removing the old seal you did not clean the oil residue and did not lube the inner lips of the new seal and did not clean as well the crankshaft pulley from dirt and grease. And finally why did you put three washers with the bolt and not one??? you also did not torque the crankshaft bolt to proper torque recommended by the workshop manual.

Good. Will do mine soon. Been seeing oil but can't trace from where. It's the crank seal.
Thanks you

Three washers on the crank bolt brought me back to the comment section. Could you tell me why you did that?
