Ingredients :
any variety brinjal 1
(If using small variety take at least 3)
Green chilli 2-3
Coriander leaves
Chopped onion 1/2
Curd 1 cup
Salt as needed
For tempering :
Coconut oil 1 tb sp
Hing a small pinch
Mustard
Urad dal
Curry leaves
Method: 1. Fire roast brinjal using a mesh as shown in the video.
2.once done let it cool completely and peel off the skin. Check once inside the cooked brinjal if it's clean. Mash using a fork or with hand.
3.put into a vessel. Add in salt, chopped chilli, onion and coriander. Also add beaten fresh curd. Buttermilk can so be used here. Mix well and add tampering finally. It's a tasty side dish goes very well with hot rice. This tastes very good when served with curd chilli.

thank you. I made this dish today. I put 4 small round brinjals in oven (induction stove). taste is good. Should add more brinjals next time /change brinjal variety for max flavour.
