    Hi, love the videos.
Just wondering; how long is the purple cord you use for the Klemheist + MMO setup?

seems like a couple of grigris would come in handy in that scenario.

I was wondering if you could clarify something for me I’m little confused at how you do this if from baseline because I’ve been told you can’t rap off the back of a munter-mule and I don’t know the next step to set up the rappel from baseline

From baseline you’d need to setup a counterbalance rappel. So from the backed up bridge step in baseline you set up the counter balance with your rappel device and backup hitch, instead of setting up the MMO

Nice instructional video, just one important remark among a few, the klemheist is unidirectional . The backup you are using to keep the rescuer safe while abseiling should have been a prusik.
I know there are many ways to do this, and different schools prefers one over the other, but using a unidirectional knot as a bidirectional as your main backup is a fail in book.
Cheers! keep up the good content!!

Thanks for the comment… check out some more info on the kleimheist, we were taught at our AMGA rock guide course that it was bidirectional… I tested it as well and seemed to work.

Per the falcon guide AMGA SPI manual (pg98) "the hedden knot can be unreliable if it is formed by simply reversing the direction of a kleimheist"
At best an upside down kleimheist (aka hedden hitch) might work in this given application, but why teach something that might work when a prussic will definitely work?
