- In this video, I use a Gary Fisher Aquila frame to use up lots of extra parts from my part bins in my shop. I make a very useful bike out of what would otherwise be never used parts.
For some cool stickers and other stuff, shop here: www.depuesshop.com
Here are some of the tools I used.
Fork Cap Tool set: amzn.to/3W57ViM
Truing Stand: amzn.to/3zqjJTV
Awesome Grease Gun: amzn.to/3k85U4O
Hydraulic Brake nipple press: amzn.to/3W17W7n
Sonic Parts Washer: amzn.to/4arSPs8
Solvent Parts Washer: amzn.to/3PVsJGA
Well done sir 👍
Someone is going to love that Frankenbike.
I like it! Congratulations !
We want wheelies! Seriously, nice job.
Haha!! Definitely next build!
Aquila is an excellent frame. That was made around 1995, and it's almost equivalent to the HKEK. I still have my 1998 Aquila. Full CroMo, a bit of rust, but nothing serious after a dozen years riding in New England winters.
I still have my '93(?) full rigid Aquila, which is bone stock except for head stock/stem(?) raised to eliminate the wrist-heavy riding position of the original setup, a crotch friendly seat for commuting, and new tires. It mostly sits, but recently loaned to my son's friend who was visiting for the weekend to trail ride. He kept up with my son and friends all weekend. The frame is a bit steep on front end rake for my aging body and diminishing balance, but it is sweet to look at. Thanks for the video, I will have to check out a set of front forks that would make commuting easier for me.
Seus vídeos são muito bons.🇧🇷
-hey, it looks like a parts bin bike...
-it is a parts bin bike.
Love this color combo of Gary Fisher. Your builds are fun to watch.
Love the builds! Can you do a breakdown of the difference types of greases you use on each part? Thanks!
Gotta be honest, I really only use one grease, and it's waterproof wheel bearing grease for boat trailers.
I enjoy your videos, but I noticed a constant buzzing on the audio on this one. Is it a ballast on a florescent light or something?
I tried a moving camera sled, and apparently, you can hear it in the video....
@@DePuesshop I noticed the camera movement. It was a nice effect.
Be really cool to give this away to a homeless guy
