The slide show just kept getting better than I first thought. Helical gear cutting as well? Nice work.I noticed the "Zeus precision data chart" a bit more used than mine by the look of it, although I have had it since the 70s. The shed door opens and you wheel that out! Well done and thanks for the video.
This boiler ‘appears’ to be quite a bit safer in its construction than the 1st one. It at least, has some water level clearance in the pressure vessel..... which if if your low level line on your sight glass is slightly above your highest tube in the boiler, your top tubes are protected. They, you ( and others ) are protected by you & the glasses’ accuracy to the top tube/tubes to prevent possible tube collapse, tube sheet or pressure vessel shell failure..... not wanting you to see me as a knowitall, just want you to stay safe & enjoy this hobby, but always be attentive to details. I like this little engine......!!!!
very nice i do often wonder why everyone uses the chain steering? I would be tempted to use a newer set up rack and pinion or something and add the chains for show or something after

Thanks for your comment yes they are very dangerous i am aware and i keep the pressure as low as possible to avoid any incidents
No small achievement, this.
Congratulations!

Either would be good but all ive seen are chains. With the movement from the heat any other method might not work the same
Looks great Johnathan :-)
Thank you very much 😃
