Helli, Jim and Family! What an amazing place! Considering much of my family worked in places like this, I always find it both personally and historically impressive and important! Awesome tour, sir!
Many thanks Anthony, I hope you and Joyce and the family are all good. I was not going to do this video but the first video had a lot of interest.👍🏻 Thanks for your support over all of my videos. You are my top commenter on my channel. Much appreciated. Jim
Hi Rob , I hope you're doing well. That flywheel is 85 tons and spins very true. Utterly amazing technology for well over a hundred years. Thanks for watching.. Jim👍🏻
Thanks me Lord Al, It is truly amazing the way they built and made everything in those days even the glazed bricks and light switches , I am going back in the new year as they have a great cafe with home made cakes etc... Stunning place to visit on the 1st Sunday of each month when they fire up the twins.. Thanks for watching.. Jim.👍🏻
Wow, that is a very large steam engine and must have been amazing with the drive system working with all the cotton ropes, leather belt rail, and linkages. The Blacksmith area with the small engine driving the belt system had a reciprocating saw, manual Arber, drill press, lathe, and a Power hammer from what I could see. Interesting video, Jersey Bill
Thanks Bill, this place is amazing the next fire up is in Feb 1st Sunday so I will be back to look around, I may film the start up seqzuence of the Big 85tone fly wheel.

Good System great technology beautiful
Truly amazing looking round these old steam boilers and engines .
Thanks Peter,
I am lucky to have this musium not that far away, it fire's up once a month and takes around £500 of import coal to run for the day.
Great old Age technical Stuff very nice
When works of art and engineering collide
The engineers and desigeners etc had so much pride back then.
Superb piece of history and great credit to everyone involved. Thanks a lot.
Hot stuff, thanks for sharing.
Interesting building, thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Great video , very interesting
Someone made a Lego version of this engine That actually a works.
The engine and house design could actually be build as you can order all the special bricks from lego
I’m surprised that with all Britain emissions regulations they would allow this
@@jamesbecker3203 yeah I know , it's limited to a few hours once a month.
