@@chigasaki06 That’s not true, after approximately 3 months the surgical area will finish healing and the neovagina won’t try to close itself off anymore, dilation is only needed after that point to maintain an appropriate diameter and depth.

I'm a nurse who watched the surgery it does not look natural from male to female The interior is not like a vagina The vaginal canal can become small or stretch out it is stretchable and has its own lubrication The coloring is different The texture is different. This surgery just creates skin and it's sealed at the end so these people will have to constantly dilate because that can close what's not natural will try to heal That's the body's defense.

It depends on the technique : Penile inversion - 4-5 inches, Peritoneal - 7-8 inches and Sigmoid Colon - 8-10 inches.

Some surgeons perform bottom surgery in two stages, and it depends on the person but some people are able to skip dilating after a couple of years.
This is like a random specific thing that only applies to a few, but will having foreskin provide more sensation or does it not matter, or do the surgeons get rid of it in the procedure?

@vazefiluca3298 hi sorry for the late reply. Keep in mind that everyone's genitalia is different from each other and unique. After the surgery you have to do something called dilating... they give you multiple sizes to use. I would personally recommend using the largest one.... if you are worried about not being able to have full intercourse with your partner. It just depends. I hope my information helps. 🙏

I don't know, but I had my surgery back in 2012. It took me about a year to have an orgasm and yes, it was really different but in a good way. It took longer to achieve but it was way more intense and lasted longer. That and to this day, I find myself getting really wet but it's not like during sex - that happens too thankfully. I mean there have been times at work or in the midst of running errands, where sex is the furthest thing from my mind. I then feel a little wet down there, go to the bathroom and I am soaked and not with pee. This happens like once a year but it's still pretty weird. I mean, I am getting just as wet as if I was was making out with a girl or guy friend but I have just been sitting at my desk working on a spread sheet and a word doc for like the last three hours. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to complain because my stuff works, just the random wetness thing seems kinda unusual. I have read and heard the stories of post op women who are four or five years down the road and they still haven't had an orgasm since before their surgery and I thank God I'm not in that category!!

Why do they call it bottom surgery instead of genital surgery?
I'd give anything to be able to have bottom surgery :( I don't want to eventually die in the wrong body and being on hormones is a step in the right direction but they make it SO hard to take further steps. I'd give anything and I mean anything to have the option of bottom surgery while I'm still decently young. I'm already 34 not getting any younger. I've struggled with this since my earliest memories always feeling in the wrong body and the wrong role.... I wouldn't wish that type of pain on anyone. I get discrimination all the time but it's nothing compared to the general pain of being in the wrong body. Those people rushed into things me I'm in my mid 30s and been wanting this my whole life. Don't judge what you don't personally understand. My brain and my body truly don't match its as simple as that. Btw the percent of people you're referring to is a low percentage. The majority are usually happy with the outcome. @@johnnylego807 I've been into both men and women basically since I've been sexually active at all which is like 20 years and I would cross dress in private or around a select few people since I was even younger then that but I didn't start 24/7 presenting as female until I knew I was going on hormones because I didn't want to just feel like I was playing dress up and that was around a year ago when I publicly came out and started living as a female full time and I've dealt with some of the worst forms of discrimination you can imagine yet I still wouldn't take it back to play some role that just isn't who I am even though that's obviously the easier way I'd rather do things the harder way if I can at least be myself. So depending on what you count as being part of the community that's the timeline on when I've started everything. I mean I used to dress like a girl in private and wish I was born a girl even back when I was like 4 years old lol so it depends on what you consider counts or doesn't count.
