Thanks for this. I have been experimenting with Occult Dominion on the Amulet for 3 extra mages rather than the normal two and it seems pretty good. Dropped Conceited and moved reanimation to a ring. Then took Hulking aspect on the boots for some extra corpses. Even considering putting occulted dom on the 2h for 4 extra mages. Then put Blighted on the amy.

Hi. I play leveling S4 in yout first build and pretty good i go to pit lvl41. Then i saw your twich and change for this new build shadow and for me its amazing. For you are thes best builder for necro. Thanks for your job to my game more funny🎉
As a semi casual I've taken time to test all of the top Necro builds, and yes I've gotten higher single hits/ screen damage with Golem, but survivability is awful, replacing the chest with tyriels might means you have to sacrifice Golem on chest, so it makes sense to focus on mages if you want survivability
If you aren't amazing at dodging mechanics and perfectly proccing/ sequencing your skills, survivability is way more important than highest DPS or single shot damage
After changing my whole set up 6 times in a week, I keep going back to Goblin's bone storm build, when I get my 4th spark I'll craft Tyriels might and try his army of the dead version

what gems on weapon do you recommend on mobalytics it says emerald but it shows varnuerable dmg (sapphire ) so I am confuses shall I run green gem on weapon or blue

Golem builds for BURST damage, Minion builds for DPS ✅
I like this build a lot, and i like the use of Blood Mist which i feel like a lot of people are not running right now because they arent pushing. I also prefer Explosive Mist to Conceited. I just dont like Conceited, i think its boring. I think theres a good amount of points for this build in the skill tree that are pretty optional, so 3 pts in Corpse Explosion doesn't hurt. I believe the Reapers are also bugged, so using the corpse generating slot also gets you the cooldown reduction (correct me if im wrong there). There are sooo many supplemental corpses with this setup, corpse explosion just helps even more with Blighted, and the extra CD reduction you get on Blood Mist basically makes this an Shadow Infinismist Minion build 😂
This! Other content creators are reporting that Reaper corpse generation is bugged. Raxx just did a video with a demonstration at the test dummy.
It's not min maxed but I have the gloves that turn the Corpse Explosion into missiles and the ring that automates Corpse Explosion and Corpse Tendrils (and the priest), so I have the skeleton warriors creating corpses plus the passive and th automation takes over. The golem is the weak part of my build and tbh I feel like I could trade it for something elsebut atm my input is just Amplfy + Golem active. After seeing this I could be tempted into trading it for Bone Storm which was my original plan but that got waylaid, but Bone Storm is a thing to be trying to aim for perma and with all these changes it just slows the recharge by too much for me to think if there is a point.
Just made a swap over to Bone spirit at level 80. (playing with my wife couch co op trying to get her into arpgs) So many minions were clogging up the screen she couldnt understand what was going on the screen. Bone spirit is crushing shit. 1 shot anything its wild

When I select Blood Golum and use the first one with Damage Reduction, where can I see if the DR actually is working? When I hover over my skill bar It still lists it as the blood draining option 🤔. And when I activate the skill it starts to drain....It seems bugged

i feel like i can't consistently get the shadowblight passive to proc which makes me feel like im wasting my 2h weapon aspect. my build is identical except swapped army of dead. am i just killing things too fast? not doing pit yet
Don’t sleep on aspect of the damned dmg multiplier. Also sleeping on Darkness glyph for DR.
4:18 how does the shadow dot ticks give you a shield? i think you skipped over that part.

Or to fit in a ring of Scarligous? One that auto tendrils and summons. It’s so good for console gamers hate not using it
Dude same. I’m on Xbox and I can’t play necro without it. I made my toon 3 days ago and he’s doing pit 120 on a lazy necro build with the legendary ring that auto casts and the one handed scythe that makes corpse explosion destroy.

It will get patched at some point im sure but run the reaper warriors they are bugged and get the cd ability and make corpses

hope D4 devs, can have a option to farm different class items, for example your necro is so strong but you need items for barb, you can select a option to make the drops for all barbs.. so it will be fun.. because for me its gettings boring and boring pushing for no reason.. items are the same.. I play necro and 150 to 200 is easy..
Mage Glyph needs [x] multiplier secondary, just as Golem Glyph!

Just tried this build and it does what it's supposed to do.. help you survive. I just don't like the feel if it. The minions do literally all the damage

Been playing 12+ hours a day since launch and have never seen +ranks of hellbent commander drop on an amulet. Havnt seen it when rerolling either
My very first sacred amulet was hellbent commander cdr movespeed, now I'll def never get the ancestral -__-
I found a +3. Then I found a CDR and rolled a +2. It's out there.

I was excited to check this video out but I ended up getting confused when comparing the gear stats on the video and what's on the moba page. :( disappointing.
Is it okay to replace either ring with the Ring of Sacrilegious Soul? For example the Conceited Aspect? On Console targeting for Corpse Tendrils is so janky this ring is a huge QoL improvement.
Once u temper to 100% size everywhere is the target
"Beside Nightmare Bosses". So you can run the Dungeons and the PIT, but at the end struggle with bosses. I have stated this many times. A good video of someone stating how good their build needs the following requirements: A. Game Play in Nightmare Dungeon and the PIT and including showing play against the Boss (Make sure we can see what Level it is). When you leave specific game play out. The build is suspect.
you mention army of the dead in your mobalytics notes but dont take it in the build I'm looking at. Am I missing something?

Been noticing that people are starting to transition from golem supremacy to mages and shadow, guess it'd be best to let the season breathe for a week or so before committing to a build, especially since I firmly believe that they'll patch a hotfix for the gold situation.. let's see lets see.

I encourage to review your Darkness passives, from what I've seen it buffs Darkness skills and not Shadow damage itself, so I'm not sure that is actually buffing your mages.

Why don't you run the mages glyph instead of the golem glyph?
Because mages glyph is trash. No multiplicative damage bonus on it anywhere and that's the only reason to take a glyph

You are 100% missing out on damage without golem lol
Mages may be viable up to a certain point but they do not scale anywhere near as good golem. So if you’re hard pushing, you’re going to end up going back to a golem build in the end.

How do you regenerate essence please?
There is nothing in the build that uses Essence other than the curse and the passive from generating corpses us probably enough for that small usage.
Your Skeletal mages do Shadow Damage, but they aren't using Darkness skills. Unless you use Darkness skills such as Decompose or Blight, you aren't benefiting from Gloom or Reaper's Pursuit.

Corpse tendrils unfortunately doesn't work. There is no damage at all. Go do a dummy dmg test it does not work.. I had to change my necromancer build slightly because of this problem. I'm not a content creator, so I cannot not do anything . Maybe you can . Please look into this, and you will find out that it's true.
this.... people are focusing on golem burst damage. mages are the way for dps
So your planner shows a heavy emphasis on Golem while the video shits on Golem. Kinda confused. Also on both Paragon boards , you're showing the Golem glyph. Something must be wrong here.
Why does golem suck? When done right, Golem damage can go up to 1100%. It hits hard (I use Blood golem).

Well his the skill he says to use here are not in the skill tree , for example He says Blood mist but in the build he doesn't have blood mist , it's a different build

Still not the same build as in this video, which one to follow? On mid&end game army of the dead is discussed while it is not even in the skill tree, and some aspects are not the same (conceited on gloves for example). I like the idea of OP mages, will definitely try it!

golem is trash on controller, you cant aim with Corpse Tendrils and you cant aim the golem, the auto aim is terrible on controller and every other opinion is just wrong.
Yeahhhhhh, I played all the way thru 100 with that build and while you can change targets, it's not very practical in a fight at all. You just kinda gotta hope your golem doesn't have his head up his ass all the time when you use your slam. And spoiler alert, he always does. I really think it's a K&M build
@@honestinsincerity2270 every build that requires aim is not for controller, i switched from golem to mages and it's day and night difference. also played barb and almst all builds are great except the leap one because you need to aim with it.
Dead game. Feels like they lifted/stole every change from Diablo 3. Just cancel Diablo 4 and make another D3 expansion. LOL.
