- This build is absolutely killer
Currently topping at 2.6 billion dps however, I'm getting 1.3 billion dot ticks with this
I have personally cleared 112 so far but Rofl has cleared 119.

Bruh this build is so good! Came across it via Macrobioboi’s recent video. Thank you for sharing this mate, I switched out to this last night and the dps boost was crazy. I only had to change 2 pieces of gear (2 handed scythe and a ring) but got lucky my current gear fits this build better than the original corpse focussed blight build.

This build is right up my alley,I've always found a way to use blight and do dot damage since beta. Been waiting for you to do something with this build like you did with X'fals pentadot. Having a blast the last few day since i found the Ebonpiecer build,new it would be awesome from the patch note when they first mentioned this unique. Been playing a variation of this build for about a week now and this build inparticular this past weekend. This build is a lot of fun to play. The damage feels several tiers behind minions though for me, not including use of Holy Bolt which for obvious reasons put minions far ahead. Look forward to how things progress with this!
everything feels behind minions and rightfully so right now. This build has hit 119 however, so its not terribly far behind in pits at least

Looking to a vid with Tyrael's might because the bolts do not scale well at higher pits (currently at 65) as does the blight shots. You're very knowledgeable so you'll think of something. That's if i heard right you were looking at the Tyrael's might....oh yeah this build is a masterpiece

So why is the Ebonpiercer exactly this good if the 4 extra shadow blobs don't scale with skill ranks in Blight?
If I had an amulet
- Resource Cost Reduction
- +3 Gloom
- +3 Death's Embrace or Amplify Damage
2 nice Tempers
1.5x offensive Aspect
Would Ebonpiercer still leave my legendary amulet dead in the water?
The flat damage of the projectiles is substantially higher than the actual blight bolt it self. Around 97% of the builds damage comes directly from the projectiles. You will not make up that difference.

how do you keep bonestorm up most of the time? im having problems with being too squishy
2 things, 1) temper bone storm duration on the weapon, 2) make sure you keep decrepify on packs to keep the LHC to reduce cooldowns active
Why are no blight builds running Aspect of Decay? Would that be a good alternative to Inner Calm/Unending Storm?
edgemaster is a good alternative, we are also using conceited + gale for uptime on bonestorm and high multiplier for higher pushing. Decay only impacts shadowblight itself and since the build is not stacking towards shadowblight it has no impact on the build, we are directly scaling dot dmg for the projectiles on the amulet.
why don't you use aspect of decay? It massively increases the damage of shadowblight. I feel like it would be better than inner calm
shadowblight does very very little damage in the build. its sole purpose in the build is to get blighted aspect online
You can always add chance to Daze from the rogue temper also
chance to freeze, chance to stun, we already have chance to daze on the concussive strikes as well

Great build thank you but I have a question. I have tempered dark damage on rings. Did I messed it up? should I try other rings for damage over time tempers?
on rings darkness is "ok" but its really not great. your two tempers to shoot for in that slot are either %dmg (which has the higher roll) or shaodw dmg

Hey do you have the update yet with the Tyrael Might version? I feel like id rather use tyrael might instead of harlequin so I can have more lucky hit chance, to stagger those bosses
Tested it with multiple different setups and I did not find the results remotely comparable to Shako

for temper which one to prioritize, damage % or shadow dmg over time? i knew macro took yours as reference but he's prioritizing dmg% and you're shadow dmg over time.
if they roll the same % they are fine, if temper rolls higher roll the dmg,

But how is your survivability in the pit at lvl 100?
pit 100 is fine. actually im currently on pit 107, and get to the boss in fair time im just not a good player mechanically and most of the time will just walk into a fire orb or something and kill myself.
I have a perfect roll Lidless Wall. Have you tried/considered using that?
i have absoultely considered it i just havent gotten around to try it yet. Let me know if you do and how it feels
@@serocifkre Will do. Currently testing a curse/thorns build using Damned, inner calm, needleflare + iron maiden. Something really appealing about watching things hit me and die.

@@bladewraithIron Maiden is significantly worse than Decrepify. I know it’s tempting to use it for a build like this, but since it has an internal CD of once per second (per target), it does significantly less damage than you’d like it to do.
ive tried lidless wall for few days before stumbling upon your comment. use it with one handed blight sickle and ring with osseous gale aspect. the uptime for bonestorm is quite long. kinda amazing.

Its pretty straight forward, if no corpse, spam a bit of blight or blood mist for corpse, tendrils and decrepify, pop a corpse for fueled by death or flesh eater for larger packs, then spam blight, recast decrepify, corpses, and tendrils as needed. Primarily use bonestorm for defensive in big packs. You ideally want to keep at minimum fueled by death going. Spam as much blight as you can so it stacks and stacks fast

Edit: Btw any particular reason you passed up on Explosive mist for popping Corpse Explosion?
Yes, no real spot for it in the build. BCE doesn't do much dmg other that popping fueled by death and flesh eater.

Where are you standing on blight projectiles casting twice? Seems like I want to get rid of that for bone storm duration since blight isn’t a huge part of your damage
i got rid of it for bone storm duration already. double blight is pretty much pointless IMO

Any opinion on stacking Straight damage % over Shadow dot damage? Some conflicting information out there on this.
%damage on temper is higher thats it.
@@serocifkre I've seen the build ran two ways, Either stack almost straight % damage, or the way you are doing it with Shadow dot damage, Currently I have am stacking pure % damage, I am unsure which is actually better though.
@@TaintPUNCH53 its real simple. the only place that % dmg is higehr is on tempers. so if you stack the tempers of %dmg then shadow damage or %dmg on the affixes are the same

I farmed up some gear for this build and just did a full respec. How are you resist and armor capped with no rolls on ur gear for them I'm very far off on both and thags with an 2 armor rolls on gear
Well i have 70% resists JUST from my intelligence. The armor comes from 3 skulls in my jewerly, i am sitting at 9400 armor and cap resists
@@serocifkre ya I realized you have like double my int which would make up the resist and a greater affix armor roll

Hey did you try tyraels? Idk which unique should i craft first if shacko or tyraels :/
I did and it was incredibly underwhelming compared to shako in every single way. Losing the regen increase from shako was very very noticeable, the HP loss was very noticeable, the procs were underwhelming, and the increase in resistance did not make up for the overall DR and HP.
How does this compare to a minion build in your opinion? I miss this playstyle of cro
nothing compares to minions as long as holy bolt exists :D. I am not a fan of minions so I am just working on some very fun very viable alternatives to minions.

which one to use Ancestral Ebon with 10k dmg or Sacred Ebon with 19k dmg? thnks
Whew neither but of the two honestly, the sacred one. the dmg is all based on the projectile and in this case youre doubling hwat you have. You can get a cheap 29k at diablo.trade

i get 400-500 million dot ticks on them. you can easily solo them. ive got a video out on lillith just shredding her.

IMO, andys is the best bet for this build if you have the other requirements IE GA attack speeds to hit th 93.5%

is the surviability good?
Well for so far, 109s the trash was fine, I can clear out a 100+ within minutes for the most part, elemental still hurts but its very manageable with the cooldown on bonestorm. We still cant tank the end bosses mechanics that can still one shot and we do not have minions to take in some of that damage or completely block it. The damage is out of this world if we could remain stationary to continue spamming.

topaz instead of ruby in armor is primary reason why, got a GA double masterwork crit on the 2 hander and GA int everywhere else but 1 i think

Bone Spirit would be even stronger, and of course the babysitter minion builds are stronger still, but only noobs and kids play those.
