Can’t believe I started watching 2 years ago now I have my own farm my own stock and participate in my local farmers markets . Thanks Pete
He has influenced me as well 😊
@@conservativeprodigy2604 its super humbling and a great way of life for us and our kids

I received a" just a few acres farm" t-shirt, and a "c'mon cows" hat as a gift. I'm proud to wear them. Thanks Pete.
That's awesome Ryan! Thank you.
@@JustaFewAcresFarm you guys are awesome
Where’d you get a tshirt and a hat?!
The look you get on your face before the Dad jokes … 😂! Always a pleasure Pete.
The look always prepares us for what's to come!
I tell Pete's jokes to my family and friends. Always gets a chuckle. 😆🤣😆🤣
Pete, I respect your decision on the farmers market. I do enjoy seeing it, but since it's your channel and your life. If it doesn't feel right, it doesn't feel right. We will be here anyhow and enjoying what you let us see. Have a great weekend
Life is a short experience. Look at Hobo Shoestring, his last bit of life was captured on RING.
Pete, I always look forward to your videos
Yep, same here.
Many other look forward to these videos as well. 7,812 views in 44 minutes!
Thanks you Pete for allowing us to be a part of your beautiful farm❤❤❤
Spending some time on the farm makes my soul smile. Thanks Pete!
Same here.... I always walk away with a more peaceful attitude...

Yer killing me with that liver! I'd BUY ALL OF IT! And while my pets might get a couple bites, I'd be destroying it! Especially lean liver?? Even better!! I'll pay somebody to go buy it all and mail it to me!! Liver is absolutely one of my most favorite meals. With extra onions!! YUMMY!!
Try it with coarsely chopped onion & bacon, as per my reply right above yours here, Dwayne. I think you'll enjoy the combination.
I for one, appreciate YOUR respect for OTHER people's privacy. Even if they are out in the general public. That is something that is missing in today's world. Good on you for making that choice. keep up the fine work!
It brings hope for humanity, seeing what’s going on in other parts of the world. There are lovely people everywhere, in every country, just doing best they can.
Very well said!
I will miss the market but certainly respect your hesitation to film the general public. Have a great season!
It almost brought tears to my eyes when you said you had so much liver to sell & were putting it on at $1.00 a pound! Good liver can be hard to find at times, but we always do it on the Bar-b-q. My wife puts olive oil on some aluminium foil, left open, to cook the liver on and on a separate, oiled piece of aluminium foil, left open, she puts cut up onions & cut up bacon together. Stirring the bacon & onions at times while they cook. I know you said you don't like liver, Pete, but for anyone who does, this is the Rolls Royce way of preparing it!
We have the same problem with all organ meat. Our solution was to make freeze dried dog treats. They sell well!
That ratcheting tap handle is something I will have to look for
That's a Gear Wrench Tap set . Very good quality.
@@PaRoughandTumble Do you like your GearWrench tap and die set? I have been looking for an occasional use set, and it appears on Pete's video to be a good quality set.
@@jeremysauerland1205 Yes the Gear Wrench set is very good, nearly every Gear Wrench product is excellent. I also use Hanson/Irwin and Snap-on. Plus many different ones I've picked up at flea markets.
I'm a 4th generation Agricultural Mechanic, 7th generation Blacksmith.
@@PaRoughandTumble Thanks for the reply and the good information. I, too, have several wrench sets, and absolutely love them, though until this video didn't know they made a tap and die set. I just ordered a GearWrench SAE and metric combo set online from Summit Racing. I don't use tap and dies enough to justify Snap-on, as my brother recommends, but I don't want a cheap set that breaks when I do need them. I think this set will fit the bill!
Hi Pete ! You and Hilary are great ! We sincerely appreciate all you present to us on utube ! And your jokes are our highlight! Soooo when you don't give one really miss it. God bless y'all from Michigan.
Patti with straw on her face made me laugh. Thanks Pattie, thanks Pete.
From Canada...We love liver, the best is grass fed, to cook high heat (liver with flour coating) in and out of the pan, minute each side ( depends on thickness) Liver and onions with fresh potatoes ( lots of onions) and cottage cheese mmmmm mm good
Liver soaked in milk and fried with onions and bacon
We really enjoyed watching the farmer's market videos each week, but understand your position. Thanks Pete!
Pete, you and Hillary makes a great team and I love the fact that you break things down whether it’s mechanical or farm related or the hands of the cows please do not leave us. We hope that you be here as long as you possibly can I don’t have another person that I look to as far as the farm life we really appreciate you.
I enjoyed your different day. Great job in the flower beds. Great team work/effort.
I can't wait to see the restored manure spreader at work!
Me too!
Thanks, Pete. I hope you never run out of things to talk about. Always keeps my attention.
Pete, watching your Sunday morning video is a great start to my day. Thanks!
I approve of your cork source. If you don't use something twice it's wasted.
Thank you Pete.
Have a good one, whatever it is Pete and Hillary and as you say Pete! see you next time🌹
I just love the ebb and flow of your life on the farm. It is a wonderful thing to watch. 🙂
Thank you, Pete, for sharing your day with us. I really appreciate and enjoy your videos. And thanks for not forgetting a dad joke at the right opportune time.😅
Just wanted to say how much we appreciate your videos. Besides being very enjoyable, we find them extremely instructional. I can only imagine how beneficial they will be to your future generations who will undoubtedly have questions regarding how to manage the farm, or when seeking knowledge that will help them survive. Imagine how helpful you would have found it if "You Tube" had existed when your Great Grandparents were running the farm. By the time you are finished posting videos, your family (and your viewers), will have an extensive video collection of all aspects of a simple farm life, how you solved everyday problems and why you chose the solutions you did. Thank you for sharing with our family!
Thanks for the video Pete. I can’t keep up with my eggs sales. Your fridge is full. Folks love the fresh eggs. I see the cow with the horns is usually the boss. Pushing the others out of the way. 👍🇨🇦
Really like your videos Pete. I began watching a few weeks ago when I came into possession of a Farmal C. Basket case I'd say, but I'm starting to go through it. (I'm watching all your Super C videos) I'm nowhere near the level you are in tractor restoration but I have worked on a couple old Massey tractors. Re the videos, quality and drone work is amazing. Editing too. Your easy going demeanor gives viewers a sense of peace and tranquility which I particularly admire and enjoy. Kudos to you and your outstanding family. Thank you!
I always go to your videos for your funny take on life. Everyone is working harder during this economic nightmare. You have given us lots of tips about the care of animals and we thank you. God bless and keep you and your family safe and healthy . Lynn from Austin Texas.
Pete and Hilary, Thank You both for sharing your farm lifestyle with all us Fans. Your videos are wonderful and share your knowledge on raising, cattle to chickens to the preparation for the Farmer's market. Also rebuilding tractors to growing and harvesting hay and etc. Both You and Hilary have such calm demeanors and are both pleasant to listen and watch. Thank You from Pete from New Brunswick Canada
Love your clocks. I got a pendulum mantel clock, lovely chime. I just wind it whatever time it shows. I just like its chime, gentle as it is.
all the Best for your farmers' market.
Thanks Pete for showing whatever you will
Pete I really enjoy your interaction with the customers at the market but I also appreciate your consideration for the general public. Keep up the jokes, it gives me material for work.
Pete, good morning. We enjoy your videos with our coffee in the morning. I hope you keep filming the Saturday Market, it is great to see other people and your interaction with them. I think this is a representation of who you and your farm are. Have a great rest of your Sunday. Thank you.
Your respect for other folks privacy at public markets is to be applauded Pete. The stock look well too, they are a credit to you. We tend to keep our beef animals a bit longer, up to 40+ months to give our grass reared stock time to fill out and produce a bit of marbling. I hope you did well at market.
Love watching your cows. Patti reminds me of the bull on the bug bugs bunny cartoon with the bull that sharpens the horns on the grinding wheel😊
Keep the dad-jokes coming. Love to pass them along to my adult children and spouses. Gotta keep em groning, don't you know?!
Morning Pete. Have a fantastic and blessed Sunday. Greetings from Cleveland!
Hi Pete, Love your videos!!! Hillary is a babe!! I still think that bees would make an excellent addition to your farm! Now that the pigs are gone.
Thanks Pete fro my Sunday morning service, I also do not like liver. It was very hard to hide on my plate as a kid.
Mornin Pete. There is something nice about ridding a hole of 50 years of crud. Be well.
I really like the farmer’s market videos. Your market is so cool. I love seeing the different booths and all the variety of people. Please keep the videos!!! I understand you don’t want to film patrons but an overview or scan of the crowd as you walk is different. Love your videos. Miss them when you don’t post much. 😊👍
You, your family and your farm illustrate the value of contentment. I like to define success as being content. Contentment is far different than complacency, you are not complacent.
Thank you for the channel. Watching you reminds me of my grandfather and visiting his farm back in the 80s.
I started my Diesel Mechanic apprenticeship in 1972 at the South Australian Highways Department. We rebuilt everything from Fordson tractors to Caterpillar D9 dozers EXACTLY how you do. Each and every component was taken back to it's very foundations and 'rebuilt'. I learned that you didn't need to know where every bolt came from, you worked out where it was needed and where it fit.
Very interesting.
Always look forward to Sunday morning video. Thanks Pete
I totally understand your concerns on filming the farmers market! I can not tell you how much I adore all your clocks. I have 6 of them in my own house.❤
Thank you for your awesome content, I totally appreciate the time it took you and the hours of getting that content just right! Being a content creator is super cool. It's like getting paid to be creative and share stuff you love with the world. Plus, you get to use all sorts of fun skills, like filming epic videos or making killer social media posts.
Of course, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Coming up with fresh ideas all the time can be tough, and it takes work to build a following.
Great relaxing video for a Sunday morning.😊
A dad joke is'nt a dad joke until it's full GROAN
10:56 Pete must like the noise he makes, it’s just like sitting in the room with the clocks!
Thank you as always Pete from the central Wheat belt in Western Australia.. 🇦🇺
Hey same here mate I'm on the east cost in FNQ cattle farm.
Hey Pete!! Another great video, I really enjoy each one you bring to us here on UA-cam. If you are not comfortable filming at the farmers market then I know everyone understands. I truly enjoyed them seeing all the many different people, and all the produce they have in your area. You and Hillary are just amazing people, and do such a great job working together.
Hahahaha, I love that silly look to and away from the camera. I can tell a joke is coming. Made me laugh. Stay warm at tgemsrket. Gonna be breezy. Thank You for the video.
A cornucopia video. A pleasure to see. Blessings on your day.
Have a good day pete glad to see the cows and all the other animals.
Pete, here's to a great market season. We will soon get a break in this NE cold wet weather. Can't wait.
Your chickens seem to have a happy cluck about them. Always look forward to a new video, and just wanted to let you know that your videos have helped me with my depression and anxiety. God bless, Russ from Arizona.
Nice Sunday morning Pete. Anyone painting any surface will profit from your attention to detail in cleaning and preparing the 856 for painting. Looking forward to hearing that diesel roar back to life. Also enjoying the blue JAFAF hoodie. Hope you and family have a great Sunday too.
Thanks for sharing! so far, this video is the best part of my Sunday.
Thanks for sharing your day with another great video!
If you feel guilty for spending an extra hour inside, you have only yourself to blame, Pete!!! I used to drive myself unmercifully, farming and I came to realize that I was robbing myself of a lot of good times with others, because of my personal drive, and I made a major change, and have not looked back!! At least now I can enjoy my retirement and hope you will be able to too, when that time comes.
Watching your videos from East Tennessee, I never miss them, there so interesting and sometimes really funny 😂 these days no matter where your at your probably on camera, have a blessed day !
Thanks Pete, I hope you have a good day at the market!
Excellent video construction, Pete. Well developed and edited, comprehensive and enjoyable. Thank you. Beautifuj way to start a Sunday, after a chalanging Saturday.
I understand your concerns about filming….no problem. The world is a funny place today.
The ratcheting tap handle is nice.
I bought a set of taps from GearWrench some years back that included the same style of ratchet. I use it quite frequently, and you are right, it is nice to reverse direction with the flip of the switch to clear the tap.
I agree with previous guy on the gearwrench sets if you have a dealer even the taps dies are covered under the warranty which is handy. I'll also say the harbor freight pittsburg pro ratcheting t handle are actually good and being able to move the handles side to side comes in handy in a lot of tight spots.
I am not getting my notifications from youtube like I should. I am subscribed but realized today that I was missing videos. Glad everything is ok. I am catching up !
You ought to talk about what is going on with small farmers in Oregon and how their gov is taking away the water rights in many ways. Don't ya worry it's coming to a town near you. Restrictions are heading your way and fees that will stop you in your tracks... Enjoy it while you can.
The wife and I really enjoy your channel.
I love liver with plenty of caramelized onions, liver pate! Very yummy!
Hi, Pete from Australia 🇦🇺 thanks for the great content. It's literally 11:27 at night and I'm watching your video.
I didn't feel the earthquake. But, then again, I'm in Nth. Queensland Australia. Lol. Lol. Have a good one, mate. 😅😅👍👍
Last comment of mine - for quite a while - as to why I like your channel. My DK maternal family owned a small scale family farm operation 1750-1990, which grew from 10 to 45 acres by 1920. It was mixed farming (24 dairy cattle, 200 pigs and a couple dozens chicken, doves and ducks, and sugar beet, rye and barley cropping with a few acres of grazing for the dairy cattle during the summer). It sustained big families of mine, with extra income for two and a half centuries. My parents living nearby, we often visited my grandmother and her two sons managing the farm 1946-1990. First things that I'll be doing during a visit was to explore the barns, chicken coop and collect the eggs, and chase the the free-ranging ducks. I also explored the two acre vegetable garden and fruit orchard. In short, I've always had fond memories of small scale farming, most of of my school friends out of the same heritage for centuries on a small Danish Baltic island.
I can't believe after 2 years, I just found out you have a website.
Hi Pete and Hillary. Love your channel
Your cows are never afraid to state their opinions.. lol😅!!
Pete, The interaction between you and the folks at the market and the vendors is fine.. Do your do Pete. It appears someone has either mentioned something to your site.
So, now the 🐖 are off and gone to market perse.. The weather. Yes sir. We're feeling it south. Fingers crossed 🤞 no frost. Peaches etc. Dang ol man winter poking spring around.. My grandfather kept cork around..Used it in many things.
Seems nice to see/hear you a lot more relaxed during your videos! Thanks Pete for all you do for everyone even if you don't realize it you are an inspiration to a lot of people!
Love the videos of your day. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing the video Pete. Hope y'all have a great rest of your Sunday and a great week. Thanks for explaining all you do. It's a going to be nice when you get the 856 painted. I can't wait to see it finished. You do an amazing job on them. Take care.
Gee, I love liver and beef tongue. I'm not a great fan of the other stuff like heart or kidneys or tripe or brain or oxtail. Love watching you do your chores while I enjoy my morning tea.
I have tons of corks if you need more!! 😂 🍾
Completely understand why you don't want to film at the farmer's market. Always superb quality and you are so professional, but I'd be the same way.
What a nice way to start the week! BTW - we had a huge team of Canadian geese heading up your way, they came through yesterday after stopping at the farm pond behind my house. So be on the look-out, they're coming from Maryland. Have a great week, we'll see you soon!
They're Canad... never mind.
I'm Canadian and please, keep the Canada Geese, as we have way too many of the darned things! Have a good day.
Pete, I use your model for myself. I feel we had the same type of life. Grew up on the farm, decided to get a career and came back to the farm. I still work only because my farm isn’t self sustainable yet. I really hope to do that and I’m not scared of farmers markets but my kids play sports and I don’t want to miss their sporting events but someday I hope to get there. I sell beef for processing to consumers. Makes decent profit but not as much as I could. Thank you for all the help over the years now! Also a big red tractor fan!! I have 2 H’s, an M and a 986. I do have other flavors of tractors but only because my dad used whatever was cheap and reliable when he needed them.
I was just wondering how my favorite little farmed rode out the earthquake.:) Thanks as always for a great video Pete.
In one of your recent episodes, I heard Pete saying that he he did not care much for cooked liver dishes. Well, have you tried home-made liver pate - my favorite sandwich stable during my childhood and youth in Denmark. When emigrating to Alberta, Canada (beef country for the rest of the nation and exports to the US and other world nations), I could not find the liver pate of the liking to my taste buds in supermarkets. Three varieties became available during the 1990s: pepper, cognac and herbal additions to a basic liver pate recipe - not to my perfect taste bud liking, but better than nothing. I occasionally made my own pate according to a Danish recipe until the 1990s, but too busy as a working engineer to keep up the supply. I'll send you the recipe in a separate comment entry.
GOOD morning Pete !!!
The intro totally reminds me of Back To The Future lol.
I surely do like that tap and die set you have! The ratchet handle especially...
It's a gearwrench set and they are good!
I wish I lived closer, so I could come to your market and buy some of that liver. My mom and I always made Liver Stroganoff. SO good, and
I miss it almost as much as I miss The Momma.
We pay the butchers bill with our ground goat at $6lb! $5 a lb for your ground is incredibly low!
Earthquake!!! Yes, I felt the earthquake and saw my dishes fall off the kitchen dish rack onto the floor. Strange weather this year for where I live. Too warm and dry of a winter. And spring is too wet. We had a train derailment, flooding that caused partial bridge collapse, Then the biggest quake tremor. I live close to the earthquake epicenter, west in PA. Our local farmers are saying with all the odd weather issues we experienced this year so far, farming season will be different.
Thanks for sharing with us. I recall my grandparents farming days and learn new farming ideas. 🚜🐥🐂
Danes prefer to dress their cold or heated-up pate sandwiches with three types: fried bacon chips, sliced mushrooms or water cress (pepper grass) sprouts - the latter available in all DK supermarkets all year around, in shallow 1" by 3" by 6" trays, grown on a cotton medium. I've for years grown my own water cress sprouts indoors with daily watering the same way as DK wholesale growers have, the sprouts allowed to grow to about about 1" height in 10-14 days and harvested as a dressing for pate, salads, etc. by clipping the sprouts down to the cotton level.
Good afternoon from a sunny English Sunday
Nothing more relaxing than listening to you chatting about farm stuff….
It’s your channel and you should do what feels right to you….
Having to juggle the herds genetics is something most of your viewers will never have to do … I’m sure you will come to the right conclusion….

Liver & Onions & Bacon, oh my! Haven't you heard? Everything tastes better with bacon & bacon goes well with everything. I love it once in a while because I only am able to get in once in a while. I'm the only one in my family who likes it.
Grab your morning coffee!, time to relax.
Suggestion: Hi Pete. For the farmers market, how about doing overhead drone shots. This would eliminate individual privacy issues, and actually be interesting for your viewers. I’ve seen bits and pieces of the farmers market, but would enjoy seeing overhead shots of it, the entrance, and what appears to be a lake or river nearby, how traffic flows through the day, how close (or far) it is to local towns and communities. I think you could easily do 3-5 episodes, augmented and enhanced by you explaining the area and history. Just a thought.
