My gosh, your cinematography is stunning! I've not seen better on Hollywood productions. It always amazes me how beautiful and well produced your videos are. ❤
@mermaidnchains I live in Australia, and this is probably as close as I will ever get to Alaska. Some of the cinematography brings tears to me eyes, it is just sooooo beautiful. The countryside itself, but also how it is shot, with so much love and passion to show us just how stunning their part of the world is. There has to be an award somewhere that this level of craft can be showcased and awarded. Honestly top-notch.

Eric & Arielle as always a stunning video - you have showcased Alaska and from Australia I am seeing so much of your wild wintery vistas something I will probably never see personally. Keep up the great cinematography- the drone work when driving so cool. Simply love your weekly videos. I also love your homestead build and expansion - there is nothing you can’t do and I am inspired how you work together ❤
I’m also from Australia. I saved my pennies & did an Alaskan cruise last year. It was so beautiful & well worth the money. Of course, you only see the coastal towns but it is still spectacular.

OH NO! To short! You had us spoiled with last weeks hour plus. 😂 You're really fond of 60ft. First the shop, now the greenhouse. It's going to be awesome. That heavy fence wire is going to be a challenge to run. Cement in the steel(?) Iron(?) posts. When I put up chain link around my property to keep my Shepherds in, I used wooden posts instead of steel. Just liked the look and easier for me to handle. I picked up some long heavy nails at Jerry's and nailed them into the sides of the posts, then when I poured the concrete up around them, they didn't move or break loose when I put tension on them. It was one heck of a fence. Can't wait to see the garden start! ❤❤To all. Lori from Oregon

I can’t believe something as simple as a supply run was so enjoyable to watch. As others have said, your cinematography is amazing, and the editing is exceptional. You were telling the story even when you weren’t speaking. This channel just keeps getting better, and better.
I'm excited for your new garden plans. I can't wait to see what you can grow with the short season you have. You know we are all living vicariously in Alaska thru you. We "root" for your success. Yay lettuce 🙂
Wow. What a year you have planned. Looking forward to watching that high tunnel go up. And thanks so much for the Alaskan scenery shots--hard to top such beauty. Cheers.
Hello . When I open UA-cam, it always shows me the latest videos where I Suncribe. I prefer to see yours because it is very interesting what you share with us and for free. Thank you very much, because I haven't been to Alaska yet and what you do with the little things drones those shots are like in a fairy tale about a beautiful, distant snowy virgin nature. I know that it is not there for everyone, that it would not be very easy for many people, that it also costs a lot of money even if it is Off Grid. I come to US from Czechoslovakia and was a cross-country skier, so I love snow. I also like to watch your hunting trips and part of the fishing and the food, I wouldn't have the same nerves as you two have with fishing or on Caribou. Erick seems to be quite skilled in trades. Man, you are lucky to have a wife who also likes this kind of life, there are few women who would have the nerve for such a life and she is also a very good helper and cook! But boy and girl I hope you not end up in the older years like I did, because of the hard work, back problems, etc. So I thought to ask if you haven't considered living there only in the summer, renting cabins during the winter and going there only for a trip in the winter, because it seems like it's more of a challenge in the winter and also harder to make living with work. And wouldn't it be better to live off grid somewhere warmer in the winter and come back to live in Alaska in the summer. And what about children, schools and the team will probably come. I would also like to know that you didn't think about having more dogs and using them for sledding, pulling instead of to much fueling motorized transport. How about one or two piglets and then have some homemade sausages and pork ribs? Since you have a lot of those videos, you won't make, for example, some digital Calendars ? How is it there with help, helpers, do people help each other during construction there? And how about having fun, going somewhere, like to church for example, or how about a berry farm and doing part-time jobs in the summer? Maybe you can need to give employment to others and do some kind of business that would survive you and maybe the children would continue in it? There is a lot of natural resources , hows County restrictions or no restrictions ? What about bears , wolves not scare a little etc? You are good guys I love what you do and Again thank you for sharing the beauty of Alaska ! so truly appreciated you both! Peace be with you both! ~👍🏻 Mar.
wow expetacular view of the mountains beautiful snow at you're old cabin love the fact that you guys got a greenhouse you guys are amazing thank you for sharing ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for posting these wonderful videos, the way you film the scenery is beautiful and I like how you always include lovely wild life as well as your own animals. It is fascinating to see how you live in such a harsh but magnificent environment. It is also fun to see you cook moose and caribou and all these different foods! You are so clever with building and fixing everything, it is very enjoyable to watch. Well done!

You two really get around and are always full of surprises, never know what you have up your sleeves or what you will endeavor to accomplish next. Always exciting. Absolutely love this channel . Hope your spring is right around the corner😊🌸🌺🐔
I am watching the video way back in 2019, Foraging for mushrooms in Alaska. Morels! They are my ultimate favorite mushroom!!! They are so good and flavorful. They are very fun to look for them. We would go up to Mt. Adam's here in Washington state and April seemed to be the perfect time of year for them. One Spring, we made $300 by selling to mushroom buyers but saved alot for ourselves 😋 I soaked them in Salt water for 12 hours to rid any worms that might be on them, washed them thoroughly, patted the water off, dipped in egg, then in a flour and seasoning mix, then into my cast iron pan of olive oil. Didn't have to cook them long but it was hard waiting to put that savory mushroom in my mouth! 😂 They are the best of the best!
I feel the anticipation of the garden seasoning every year. I felt so bad when you two chose not to garden last year and for great reasons. SO- I feel YOUR anticipation as well as my own and you have a great area too. Everytime my sons are here and they see stakes in the ground they laugh. They say Mama has a clean slate ♥️♥️ I extend my gardens all the time. Just add A row and before I know it I have 2 more feet along the side 👍👍
I save your videos for as long as I can to shorten the time between each one. I'm excited for the new high tunnel build. I felt the loss of Bo on this trip. It must be so hard for you both. Good luck for the great things of spring/summer. You are the high light of my week. 🥰

Refreshing ! they do all this without sneaking in those long marketing ads others do about protein shakes and vpn services in between videos . kudos!
My husband and I love watching your videos - projects, hunting and fishing, everything! We’re fascinated by Alaska, and enthralled by the life y’all are living. Thank you for sharing it with your viewers!!
The photographers skills are top notch. And that drone… man o man. Tech is 👌🏽👌🏽
I can’t believe something as simple as a supply run was so enjoyable to watch. As others have said, your cinematography is amazing, and the editing is exceptional. You were telling the story even when you weren’t speaking. This channel just keeps getting better, and better.
Guy's your channel is just flying high. You two keep it real and we love that
You guys keep raising the bar!!! We watched you in Pennsylvania and now we watch you in Alaska! You’ve been such an inspiration to us in our journey!
45 degrees is warm 😂😂 Can't wait for the garden stuff, I definitely miss it!!
I'm excited for your new garden plans. I can't wait to see what you can grow with the short season you have. You know we are all living vicariously in Alaska thru you. We "root" for your success. Yay lettuce 🙂
Your camera work is getting sooo good !! Love seeing your old place once again. Say safe !
How exciting for you to have a greenhouse again. It was nice to see the old house. Always beautiful scenery on your road trips.
Total upgrade in the greenhouse looks like! So excited for y’all! And the garden fencing too. Yay!
That Sunset & Mountains!!! 😍🤩
Wow. What a year you have planned. Looking forward to watching that high tunnel go up. And thanks so much for the Alaskan scenery shots--hard to top such beauty. Cheers.
Thanks for sharing your life and your ideas and your channel with us! ❤Love the whole channel!! God's amazing creative hand up there! Nice footage!

One of the VERY BEST youtube channels and a very talented wonderful couple.
The light the scenery those majestic mountains it took my breath away
Wow a 30x60!! Cant wait to see the jungle you 2 grow in that thing! The views down that way are just amazing!
I save your videos for as long as I can to shorten the time between each one. I'm excited for the new high tunnel build. I felt the loss of Bo on this trip. It must be so hard for you both. Good luck for the great things of spring/summer. You are the high light of my week. 🥰
Beautiful country you have there 😍
Yay for Spring! Thanks for always sharing the amazing scenery of Alaska.
Cool sweatshirt Arielle! Love the colors. Love road trips to town. You take such good care of Bandit with his special diet and all. Give him some hugs from us all!
Great road trip to pick up your greenhouse. The snow covered mountain peaks were just gorgeous, along with the sunset. It will be exciting to watch you guys construct the greenhouse and all the veggie growing to come. Your videos are so interesting! Greetings from Wisconsin. We have 40 and 50 degree weather now.
Gotta just add i dont know where you guys get your energy from your non stop building your dream home ❤❤❤
