The Mortal Kombat community gets what it deserves. Period.
The MK community on twitter is the equivalent of a child going 'lalala I can't hear you!' when they receive criticism about the game lmao.
I’ve been apart of this community since 2011. We honestly don’t even deserve a good competitive game anymore. If content creators, commentators, and pro players are too afraid to say how this game is OBJECTIVELY horrible and bad. Nothing will change. It was fun while it lasted.
You say countless game breaking bugs but dont name any of them, but then ask an mk1 fan to name 10 good things about mk1?
It still bothers me that we couldn't get Anthony Starr as Homelander but we got Megan Fox as Nitara...I definitely wouldn't have bought it if i knew i was getting Homelander from Wish.
Funny mk1 couldnt even hit the 1,000 entry mark with all dlc included and still couldnt do it while 3rd strike more than 20yrs old did is so hilarious 😂😂😂
This is comparable to Bethesda fanboys. It's been a year since Microsoft bought them out and nothing but Redfail and Unfinished Starfail. Few months away for Mk1 full year release and nothing to show for. Truly an embarrassment for triple A gaming.
I’m a massive Mortal Kombat fan but I simply cannot defend MK1 - it’s an abomination in my opinion.
Tom Brady touches on this really well. All my MK friends have moved to Tekken 8 and I don't blame them one bit.
You forgot one thing. MK12 is infected by SBI. And yes I said MK12 because NetherRealm Studios can't do math.
I don’t feel sorry for majority of Mortal Kombat community because they have zero self respect because they are afraid to say the blunt truth.
As much of a fan that I am of MK, I could admit that MK1 has been a mess. Between all the bugs, lack of content and questionable actions taken, or lack of action taken by NRS, it has overall not been a good experience.
Ive heard that all the QA testers report all these glitches but it never gets adressed bc higher ups only care about deadlines. NRS actually used to be model FG devs, remember they were the first company to ever retroactively add rollback to a game (mkx) and had rollback in their games years before their competition. I cant imagine the modern state of the company ever going to those lengths. I think it probably has to do with WB games in general is mishandling many beloved IPs for easy cash grabs.

Weirdest part to me is majority of the criticism is surrounded around the game development and community team and the players the people who are being victimized are defending them. Like, why are y’all defending the people who don’t GAF about y’all. Literal FGC Stockholm syndrome.

Listen as much as I'm ashamed to admit it, I love playing Overwatch 2, cause it's fun, yet i would never pretend most of the criticism aimed at it is not valid; people need to realize just because you like something it isn't perfect
The mk community is the greatest example of stolkhome syndrome. The game is handled like it's a free to play game. This game has been awful and terrible since day 1. No one wants to admit that this game sucks. Wish I got street fighter instead. M. Bison got me so hyped
Granblue and UNICS are objectively better than MK1, but even more: those two games ooze with the care and love the developers have put, and continue putting on them. They are small in production, but gigantic in quality, competive potential and heart.
Mk has had a downfall as catastrophic as the new assassin creed games both are modern dog shit and I have got all the mks that is definitely changing to me only playing sf and tekken
