For everyone suggesting I just dig a trench from my house and run power to the office… We live on a solid rock. That’s the reason our property is elevated 30’ higher than everything else around here. Trenching here is incredibly expensive and requires big equipment that doesn’t make sense to bring in just for one simple trench. It’s so hard to dig here that the only underground utilities on our property are the water line from our well, to the cistern, and then to our house, and then one single outdoor faucet. We don’t even have water lines to our lawn, and I have to run a hose across the driveway from the well house to water it. Then we have our septic line, which has to run all the way down the hill to the lower corner of our property because they had to get down off the rock to be able to put a septic field in. So a solar setup is the only real logical option for power in my office.

I may put some permanent cables wired to my tractor and car to easily plug into the anderson connectors. Either building will take enough solar panels to run everything. And larger 300 watt panels are getting cheaper. I bought an extra slide mount for my e-bike battery and made a cable with mc-4 connectors to plug it into my power station solar input so the e-bike battery can give me additional run time during a power outage.

Good morning Casey I think she wanted you to have your own office and she wanted to get your stuff out of the house. Your lovely wife is an amazing lady
I do LOVE the idea of Ecoflow...... some day I might able to get some items..... would be awesome for a ice fish house instead of running a Honda 2000 generator 24/7 for 3 days....
Here's your pro tip go to harbor freight and buy their RV 3 panel solar system. And the 4000 w inverter from harbor freight as well They will keep everything fully charged and then some but here's the catch make sure that you aim the solar panels at the Sun not flat if the Sun is not directly above the more sunlight you get aimed at them the more power you get out of them I. I just used for semi batteries I could run everything in my RV including the AC
For your solar setup, don't put them on the roof... build one of those "sunflowers" that they go on, and then that thing will intelligently track the sun so you're always maximizing how much power you get from them. I don't have a specific link; do some googling for stuff like "sun tracking solar panels" or somesuch and you should find what you need.
Casey has a Man Cave! Daughter is getting older, and dad may do things he doesn't want his child to see. Way outback office, good spot. My man Cave is all steel and I modified an Arrow Brand 10 x 10 x 6 shed. Problem I had at my old home is I was 6'-4" tall and the original door was not tall enough. So, I built 2 foot high steel stud walls and re erected the 6 foot tall shed on top to make 8 foot tall. Then installed a standard wood door. A general Contractor I was working for was throwing away a bunch of Pro Panel steel roofing scrap which I placed on the front of shed. I have a Harbour Freight 18 watt solar panel ground mounted and the control box that comes with it charges a deep cycle marine battery. The Solar panel comes with 2-12 DC fluorescent lamps on 20 feet of wire with switches to plug into the panel controller. It also has 2 power sockets and usb ports. All for $149.00 and I had a coupon for 50 bucks off. (food stamp budget, yay!). I run an 8 inch computer fan for my exhaust fan. When the sun comes up the fan spins and when the sun goes down the fan stops strictly from the solar panel. I don't hook the panel up to the battery unless it needs to be charged or to attach the battery clamps for use with the lights at night. I can charge my phone, lappy top if i had one and my setup can also power 120 volt AC too if I hooked it up to the Power inverter also from HF. My power inverter (30 amp) is on my truck to power equipment 600 feet from my home, Today it is hooked up to a group size 29 Marine battery from Auto Zone ($99.00) been using it for 10 years.
Don't know what your climate is like, but small 12 volt wind turbines for charging have been available for years. They are a standard fitment on boats. There 360 degree spin, would give you another choice.
I almost didn't watch this video.. I ended up skipping to the half way point to the "van life" setup. I'm glad I did. Seems a lot easier than a deep cycle setup I was considering for a future truck camper build.
I know on the Honda generators, you want a piece of wood or metal under them since they suck in the engine and cooling air through the bottom. Running them sitting on dirt or gravel gets them really dirty inside. Not sure if the eco flow is the same way, but I’m sure you want to keep that generator in as best condition as possible.
For the Solar panels, i strongly recommend a setup that can turn with the sun. It doubles the amount of Energy you can get. In comparison to stationary installed solar panels. Also you have more then enough space.

Good morning Casey I think she wanted you to have your own office and she wanted to get your stuff out of the house.
Your lovely wife is an amazing lady
If you put solar on the roof of the office it would provide shade against the sun at the same time helping against the sun 2 ways.
I too have EcoFlow. A Delta max , 2 Delta pros , a delta Smart generator and the same solar panels .
Casey I got the Delta Max , because of one of your videos a year or so back . Loved it so much I got the others . 👍
your carpentery skills are off the chart
Yeh.
I'm with the "outta my house wife' version.
More fun that way.
Great video. Eco flow has really expanded their line. Your a great spokesman for them
I do LOVE the idea of Ecoflow...... some day I might able to get some items..... would be awesome for a ice fish house instead of running a Honda 2000 generator 24/7 for 3 days....
I'm thinking a little bit of both. Good personal space, and she's kicking you out slowly...
Love the Topsy hoodie!
Awesome video. Look forward to yout updates. Your setup is very close to what I have.
Looks like an awesome set up, very versatile with many applications. I love your little joke at the end.😂
Really your wife just wanted you to have a (nicer than most men’s) dog house to go to when you get on her nerves 😂 looks good 👍
and that is why ECOFLOW ROCK
Before Cascade Heavy Rescue Casey was the ShamWow infomercial guy😅
A man of many talents brought to you by someone that says ... " I never said I was good at this!"
LOL The battery box cover! Perfect timing!
“Modified by me to be used in a way they never intended” got even more of my attention, tell me more
Very cool tool. Thanks for sharing all those tips.
Now you have the PERFECT Office wall to hang Troy’s gift to you! Very cool tour of EcoFlow!
Love Rusty! He is a good family dog and an excellent companion.
Oops! I didn't read the comments before posting my comment 😮! At least we agreed on where the sign should be hung😊!
I'm glad you got the backhoe so now you can run a cable to the house like a normal person.
Nope. That backhoe has zero chance of being able to dig a trench to the house
I'm sorry, I should know better by now! You always end up answering my questions later in your video!😂
I’ve thought about that as well
Casey, you have a great wife. love Ecoflow God Bless you and yours
Thank you for a very cool video. I learned a lot today.
thanks for the power unit update.
For the Solar panels, i strongly recommend a setup that can turn with the sun. It doubles the amount of Energy you can get.
In comparison to stationary installed solar panels. Also you have more then enough space.
Nice office! I have EcoFlow too, awesome products. Love your channel 😎
Great video, also heavily invested in Ecoflow. Great gear!
Great job Casey. Thank you 😊
