Hey brother, I feel you on this. It’s always the same when you buy a used motor. Save up and buy a brand new motor. Will last you many years. Restore the boat little by little until you get a brand new motor. Suzuki are affordable

I didn't know this issue recording this video, I came to figure it out a week later and I am gonna include it in the next Robalo video! It ended up being torn up wires in the harness shorting the ground

Yea you cant make up my luck LOL! those ocean pros are bullet proof as long as you premix and don't rely on the VRO you'll be golden! Hope the water test went over well! Will do ill check it out for sure
I like your content and I been following your build but I gotta tell you since I saw that Fitch I knew it was headed south, those engines are horrible, your better off with an 80s - early 90s Johnson / evinrude. I was a marine mechanic and study those engines they are trash.

i had a 69 85 hp evinrude i had to become a mechanic. just to keep it running always carried a kicker to get you home have a Suzuki now way better
With all Johnson and Evinrude's you have to be a mechanic LOL Suzuki's are good If I could afford one id get one for sure

200 Suzuki and rebuild it myself lost all my footage last month so never got to upload
That sucks, that would’ve been a cool video, but yea that’s a great way to get a new engine is just buy one like that and rebuild it
