The general pf strat I've seen for the final phase is just panic until the boss dies :p

5% hp on 1st day, consistently past meteors on week 2, hope we get out next week! 1st hard fight I've done and learning with my FC and this vid has been really fun!
Five months later I finally managed to clear this fight. Cross markers become pretty easy once you learn to recognize the patterns. Also, something not mentioned here is Flow of the Abyss during the final phase can target any third of the arena horizontally. It does not always blast from the middle. The persistent AoE, party stack, or enums is totally random. It's best to preposition just like your Meteor set up so you can adjust accordingly for whichever mechanic the boss throws at you.

meteors been screwing me didnt know i could run off stage to not wipe.
Same here. The meteors always screw me over. I even jumped once as a sacrifice, but it just wiped. Rng is a pain.

Haven't done this yet, but I already know the cross AoEs are what I 'would' have a difficult time with if it couldn't be resolved by just playing follow the leader. I really wish they would stop using mechanics that can be resolved with a damage dorito.
I miss Terminus Est from Emerald Weapon. One of my favorite mechanics in the entire game.
