Thanks for sharing your fantastic job. Couldn't imagine the Grey Seer would be so light, thought it was a white primer. Why didn't you use Wraithbone as primer ? Wouldn't have been looking so great ?
Just started up again after over 10 years away. So Contrast paints don’t need to be watered down huh? Incredible. Between that and push fit I’ve been in amazement for the past couple weeks
Why have I never seen you before now? I don't even collect orks but you where on my recommended feed. God I'm happy! You are a God with contrast~ new sub!
Wow awesome painting and commentary, I'm glad to see more contrast tutorials as some UA-camrs seem to have just dismissed them for some reason. Subbed!
Many years of Brush Control practice have finally paid off! a good way of practicing this is use a pen and draw the number 8 over and over again over the top of itself and try to stay over the top of the original 8. It's a cheeky little technique I've used now and again to practice precision and control. You'll get there my friend I believe in you!
There was an issue with previous video so this had to be reuploaded thanks to everyone who commented already I really appreciated it! This is the proper fixed version 💪🏻
That's awesome to hear! If you did decide to do this in the end, I'd love it if you could tag me if you post them to Twitter or Instagram at all so I can see them.
awesome guide! May i ask why do the blue first then go over in back for the armour panels doesn't black templar give a good highlight? not a criticism, just interested in why you chose that way.
Black Templar does a lot of things really well but giving a true black it doesn't do so well on it's own. What it does really well at is providing a really solid deep black colour when applied over a darker colour and Retains some of that preshade. In this case the Highlights that Black Templar gives, have a blue tint on their own. If you do Black Templar on it's own without the preshade. You get a very dark grey not a Black colour and trust me it's very noticeable. You'll end up doing two coats of Black Templar. So this way you augment your black's colour and tone! You can use Shyish Purple, Basilicanum Grey, Wyldwood, Ultramarines Blue, Leviadon Blue, Terradon Turquoise before the black, all to give your model a deeper and richer colour. You just have to change what colours you use to highlight it after!
Great tutorial, ghaz is definitely my favourite unit out of all the 40K models, I’m picking him up Wednesday and I’ll be watching again (4th time now 🙃) Any chance of doing a tutorial for the new combat patrol models? Keep up the good work, I have followed your crimson fists one too 👍🏻
Thanks Curtis and hopefully you're pleased with your Ghazghkull! I'd like to do more of the new Orks, though time is pretty scarce right now. I shall certainly add them to the list of future videos though!
Not gonna lie I personally love this version of Ghazghkull over the previous model, his previous model was too similar to the design of mega-nob due to the "boxy" appearance. This version however is very fitting for legendary warboss and he seems more bigger and stronger than ever before!
Great video, but when saying things like 'paint all the metal bits' please show us the rear of the model too - sometimes it's hard to tell where to paint.
Hello, Are you thinking about painting some minis, which are not having any video (necrons, harlequins etc.) Like Illuminor Szeras or are you waiting for indomitus box to show us how to paint shielded SM + Necrons? :D thanks.
I certainly am! Illuminor Szeras will be done as soon as he arrives, as well as the other 3 minis from Pariah, I’ll definitely do some for when the Indomitus boxed set arrives too!

You’re missing creed camo from the list. I just learnt the hard way

When I buy him, I am immediately watching this video as a guide for all of this!
Amazing, I'd love to know how you get on with it!
Watching these videos has helped me a ton, thank you!
I couldn't get Iron Hands Steel at my local shop but I found doing a 2:1 ratio of Runefang Steel and Leadbelcher worked pretty well
That's good to know, thanks for the tip!
Im painting this now. Im amazed how detailed the kit is.
It's a bit crazy right? Considering the old one!
Why have I never seen you before now? I don't even collect orks but you where on my recommended feed. God I'm happy! You are a God with contrast~ new sub!
Thanks very much for the sub! Very much appreciated! Tell your friends! 😂
Believe me I will! 🤣 Gotta spread the word!
Wow awesome painting and commentary, I'm glad to see more contrast tutorials as some UA-camrs seem to have just dismissed them for some reason. Subbed!
Contrast is incredible! Eventually more and more people will use it even if I have to personally go to their houses and demonstrate it!
Looks fantastic, nice job
Amazing job! Gonna paint my Goffs using this as well as my Gaz! Thank you for the video totally gives me a solid direction to head.
This reminds me I’ve got a pile of Orkz I need to do to accompany Old Ghaz!
I'm jealous of how neat your painting is. I'm trying to just paint the head and keep getting green paint all over 🤣

This video is actually making want to try out this style on my one! Just need all the contrast paints and a couple of models to practice on now 😁
That's awesome to hear! If you did decide to do this in the end, I'd love it if you could tag me if you post them to Twitter or Instagram at all so I can see them.
I bought this today, I don’t even collect orks but it’s such a good model 👌
He truly is the BEAST of Armageddon.
Great tutorial and amazing looking results you got 👌
Thx 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Such a great tutorial
Thank you very much!

I can't see myself painting this without subassemblies

The others had their charms and I agree this is the perfect embodiment of the Prophet of the Waaagh!
Great video, but when saying things like 'paint all the metal bits' please show us the rear of the model too - sometimes it's hard to tell where to paint.
amazing
Glad you think so!
The model is hard to paint, are there many places where difficult to get or are it easier in parts??
Hello,
Are you thinking about painting some minis, which are not having any video (necrons, harlequins etc.) Like Illuminor Szeras or are you waiting for indomitus box to show us how to paint shielded SM + Necrons? :D thanks.
I certainly am! Illuminor Szeras will be done as soon as he arrives, as well as the other 3 minis from Pariah, I’ll definitely do some for when the Indomitus boxed set arrives too!
Do you have a link to the finished model? The end of the video was a bit dark.
Great stuff btw.
I sure do, you can see Ghazghkull alongside everything else I'm working on over on Instagram: instagram.com/p/CBHWbl5nNiW/?
Do you have any contrast tutorials on Eldar Rangers?
Unfortunately not yet no, one day but my to do list is uncomfortably long as it is! I’ll add Eldar Rangers to it though for you. 😀
Will there be a Abaddon painting tutorial in the future?
There will be! I have to procure him and get through the back catalogue but he will be done I promise!
I wanted to see not the canonical painting.❤
