Mark vaars well I wish they had live radar some set of stupid Radars that takes 3 minutes to respond back because that's stupid and then once you know if there's a tornado during have 3 minutes and you got and you turn on the sirens to light people are that stupid seriously I wish the radar scan respond better than that and I don't care about radios cuz some people don't have radios or TV or phone and they sell cakes at the sirens only go go off I mean or meant for outside but that stupid stupid stupid
@@marisahorton1976 That's literally how radar works....it's live but it takes time for the radar to make a full scan. I think there might have been negligence on the NWS issuing that warning before hand, but literally everyone has a tv and even some even a radio. Wtf are you talking about cake? You sound fucking stupid
I live on Long Island where nothing happens and there are sirens everywhere, I can hear 3 different towns sound off from my house then the 2 my town has. So the one time we did get a storm warning tone it was pretty creepy.
Besides I'll turn off my siren whenever I need to and I always turn it off when I say I ever see any clouds that are very dangerous and whenever I see a tornado
By the way Marissa Courtney is not my name my name is B Horton and I'm 11 years old and I don't care about stupid radio station and I'm going to make my own siren it could be an ATI or federal signal which ever want and I'll put it in my backyard and only Set It Off on Saturdays at 1 and I'll turn it on Friday morning and if I make it a t i make sure it goes off every time
I mean if they follow their county siren rules, it may happen but you might need a permit. Be expected to get a no. But if your lucky, good job. Don’t always expect a yes. Only a yes or no. Possibly a maybe. Just be expected for something that is a lot of work.
"It can be an eerie sound."
No shit.
radar can't always detect tornadoes that's the purpose of storm spotters

ThatGuy:p me too and also I hear a siren at least every day, but no siren is within sight. I think they got it for the hurricane or bad storms
ThatGuy:p same!
@@cartooncat9115 even better, the first time it happened I was laughing because I thought the lightning broke it.
Sentry Sirens are better. And I think Law Enforcement or City or County Official should sound them manually during a warning.
Definitely true
2001 sirens

That's cool
Wail is for attacks or chemical hazards not tornados
Well as you are aware in the modern day that isn't true and the wail sound WOULD BE USED ONLY FOR TORNADOES
Most of the time alternate wail on a siren is a nuclear plant or pulse signal
@@stephensnell5707 Not true, different counties and cities operate different tones on sirens.
thay dont need it seattle
seattle dont have it you dont need it
@@marcieswadener2454 of course Seattle would get tornados meaning Sirens would be necessary
dont wait for the sirens either she forgot heer period pills or is haveing a blonde moment wtf

I don't think that is legal because it may cause panic.
@@madmikedoessirens2333 I agree.

@@madmikedoessirens2333 It is legal, just follow county test time and activate only during severe weather.
