The electricity effect could have been done like the symbiote shield on the venomised Captain America, where it sort of wraps around the shield. Not sure how they could have done the slash and bullet effects, magnets might have bumped the already overly raised price up further.
I remember when the Face Off Cap was the definitive Captain America. I ended settling for the Ultimate version and now it looks so wonky compared to this new one. Can’t wait to get mine.

I had to send mine back. The paint application on my figure's face was atrocious. There was a blue smudge down his nose. Also, the hinge on the shield had been glued down. After hours of trying to release it, boiling water eventually got it free to expose what appeared to be glue underneath. Toys R Us, having terrible customer service, wouldn't replace it so I had to go directly through Hasbo. They had to locate a new one as they had none in stock, then they sent a replacement figure and shield. At least that was good of them, however, it was lucky that I was an unboxer as they wouldn't send a whole replacement set. Hasbro really did mess up with the QC of this figure.
Can't wait to get mine in! This and Herald Thor are my most anticipated figures of the year! Ordered mine through Hasbro Pulse so hopefully he'll start shipping soon.
I wish Hasbro would've reused the 80th anniversary Captain America upper thighs/legs that had the wrinkles for his pants. I don't know why they switched that out for the standard Grim Reaper legs on this new 20th anniversary Cap. 😕
Good eye. I completely missed that. All figures with costumes on that buck should use the 80yrs hips. The new US Agent ought to have them too along with the bigger upper arms, re-tooled without scale mail.

The best Captain America 6 inch figure ever made, or at least until the Mafex comes out, but even then there is still some thing that make this one better than the Mafex like his skin tone the face the proportions the shield

I thought they were all bad at one point, kinda like a Russian Thunderbolts. I could totally be mistaken, but I thought they were all bad guys/gals at one point.

It’s kinda hard to explain so my bad but I’d say they’re like antiheroes I guess is a better way to put it but for the greater good though lol. Sorry, this figure is awesome but hardly worth the $32.99 price tag. I only paid $29.99 for the deluxe Apocalypse and got a lot more plastic. Going green, war or no war, there's no excuse for Hasbro's price gouging. All that said, the Secret War Captain America is still the best in the line, as far as I'm concerned. 'Nuff said!

Those holes in the shield just had to go. I plugged them with sticky tac and a few dabs of paint. Hides it really well.

There are tons of collectors out there that could retouch the paint for you.and youd never be able to tell.
