Yay William!!! This is Erika from Washington :) Your life gives our family so much hope for Michael! My husband is as positive as you and is now back at work full time..playing basketball..walking all around town and riding the bus. Besides his scar on his head you would not know he has cancer. He keeps taking his chemo with no side effects and goes to work even on his chemo weeks. God is so amazing!!! We keep you in prayers all the time and so glad to be in contact with you! I am sure your MRI will be great! Michael's last one was clear so praying the same for you!
Hey how is husband now? My mom is also diagnosed with gbm. Her rediation and chemotherapy was over. Now oral chemo is going on. I dont know what to do i am very depressed
Hi there. You are a lovely and positive person and I am so happy you are doing well. My dear husband is 55 and just diagnosed with Glioblastoma. So our new journey is underway. He is positive like you and also a true "Dude" hugs and I am looking forward to him enjoying your channel. Hugs
I’m glioblastoma 90 percent tumour removed. radiation and chemo Now I’ll start double chemotherapy I don’t know how long I’ll last but I’m so happy how you’re doing I’m so happy for you
I was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in March 2021, Things you mentioned like throwing up from nowhere, having the heaviest of all head aches until that point, Vomiting out of the window (Not really a hat guy) on the way to hospital, I can well relate to all that brother!!!
Hi again William, So glad your doing well. I too have this cancer GOING ON 31 MONTHS AND FEELING GOOD. However the tumor did just did come back in a different spot, but more radiation killed it and its now breaking up, hopefully the dead tumor goes away all together soon.... I must say I'm hard on my self, I now think EVERY THING IS CANCER, when it's not. I now pray hard every day, and know its Jesus.
Congrats on 4 years! I love encouraging stories like this. People like you inspire me to make my own brain tumor videos. I'm currently at a year and a half myself after Glioblastoma diagnosis, and still going strong. I had a partial resection (50-70% removed) because of the close proximity of a large blood vessel. My brain was bleeding badly when I first went to the ER after a week of headaches and a day of dry-heaving. I've been through the standard treatment, had a recurrence, then a different treatment which so far has been effective in keeping the tumor at bay. I strongly believe that a positive attitude, a healthy lifestyle, and community/family support have made a difference as well. And the fact that I'm 44 years old instead of 84 doesn't hurt. I do feel a duty to comment on the "20 pound backpack", which is Optune. This device sends electromagnetic pulses that (ideally) disrupt one of the phases of cell division in tumor cells. I wore Optune for about 8 months - without a recommendation either way from my doctor - and I don't know what it weighs, but I'm pretty sure it's less than 20 pounds, and you can keep it off for an average of up to 6 hours a day. So it's not that terrible. It's not enjoyable either, however, and in my case it was ineffective. The upside is that now I really appreciate life without it! (as well as having my hair back. TMZ chemo didn't do squat for me either, but at least it doesn't make your hair fall out.) Anyway, I also know other patients who have worn Optune for years and who are probably getting significant benefit from it. Different doctors have different opinions of it, but it is a legitimate treatment in the sense that it went through clinal trials and was shown to increase average life expectancy by a 'clinically significant' margin. It may seem and look weird, but it's not a cookoo 'alternative medicine' treatment. My neuro-oncologist said that it's more effective for smaller tumors that are close to the surface - mine is neither - which makes sense considering that the electromagnets are not implanted inside your brain! I'm not sure why he/she didn't tell me that in the first place, rather than after my recurrence, but that's water under the bridge. Disclaimer: for any treatment, consult your neuro-oncologist, maybe get a second opinion, review the data from clinical trials, before making any decision regarding options for treatment.
My sister was diagnosed in June this year. Devastating diagnosis as you know. She never had a seizure or any other symptoms we read about, just lots of aches, pains and mysterious problems. She had so many workups that they eventually did imaging all over her body and found it. She had a good surgical outcome and it’s was in “a good location.” She’s completed radiation and is about to start her fourth round of oral chemo. Recent scan showed no regrowth which is great, but we know it’s likely to come back. So far she refuses to consider the Optune because she had breast cancer 23 years ago and lost every bit of her hair. We’re all different. Anyway, I just wanted to pop in to let you know your comments are appreciated.
Optune skull cap! My best friend had that and 60,000$ later as it was a trial then . Did nothing. I am so thankful you went to MD Anderson. I have state 4 colon and liver cancer and wemt to get second opinion from Mayo and am so thankful. I had emergency surgery and wnded up w a illeostomy bag that is killing me before cancer. We are Warriors and will kick C butt!
congrats william :) started watching when my dad got diagnosed recently, and this gives me hope. thanks for your positivity, and also your honesty about the hard moments. pulling for you and for him 💕
I love your attitude to your glioblastoma you’re an inspiration honestly, I love to see your videos I hope you continue to stay well , love and best wishes xx
I did my surgery in September 2023. Have undergone Radiation in November 2023 and undergoing Chemotherapy these days. Let's fight this thing together. I am 37 yrs old.
Hi William! Thank you so much for your continued happiness and positivity. You inspire me and I feel so much support when I watch your videos. I too have GBM and love hearing your story and positive attitude. Thankyou 😊
I am a nurse and my floor is considered a med-surg floor/ oncology floor. You are very lucky you caught it early or it would have been a death sentence
@@justembraceit1 I mean... I said if he had not caught it early it would have been. I am not saying it absolutely is. But it is what it is if you look at the statistics. I'm just saying he is lucky he caught it early is all or else, yes- it would have absolutely not ended up well.
Hi William, i hope you get well soon 🙏 My partner was diagnosed with Glioblastoma grade 4. 85% of the tumour was removed and now is getting Chemo and Radiotherapy. I was wondering whether you heard about treatment with oncolytic viruses?
I don't personally remember hearing about that specifically as a treatment. But I remember my parents researching various trials at other hospitals throughout the United states. Some point before the end of this year I'm going to make a video about the current options out there in regards to the trials and treatment. Don't worry, I'll try to limit it to practical treatments. That moon rock cure scam really cost me a bunch of money! Lol (sarcasm of course) 😉
Hi There, My father 62 age have GBM he had surgery on 29th April 2024 and now radiation started along with chemothreapy(temozolomide 140 mg). will you please give some advise to cure GBM 4th stage cancer
I truly believe positivity and enjoyment of your life while dealing with the difficulties is important. It won't always be easy, but I think it's another level of fighting the cancer through your own determination and positivity!

So are you!

Glioblastoma is nearly always deadly. And you cant catch it early.
Looking through the comments before I send this positive video to my brother. Yours is the comment he’ll latch onto 😑
@@pixiemoon3020 latch onto how? Do you want me to remove it?
You should NEVER suggest to anyone with this diagnosis that they are facing a "death sentence."

Where was your tumor located? My dad had the same diagnosis and was told it was inoperable because its in his Thalamus.
Frontal left lobe, I believe
