A good friend of mine was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in the brain and seven other organs in his body. He was told he had about 2 months to live. Had cancer chemotherapy at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC followed by immunotherapy with Keytruda for two years. He's doing well with no signs of the cancer. I wish everyone with cancer would have access to immunotherapy treatment.
Unfortunately, immunotherapy doesn't work on all kinds of cancer.
It doesn’t work with every cancer. My brother had the same brain cancer as Sen. John McCain and Sen. Ted Kennedy. He had immun-therapy, chemo, two brain surgeries and enough radiation to light up a small city. He died a few months after his 55th B-Day only nine months after being diagnosed.

Stop playing with the vulnerability of people! If immunotherapy really worked, there were not so many people dying of cancer.
Horrific disease. My son passed from the brain tumor. Had chemo and radiation. It was inoperable to to the location. He fought for 2 years until the cancer won out. He now resides in Heaven as he loved the Lord. Keep fighting and God bless you.
The exact same as my son. 18 months and he was gone. He was 32.

During my radiation (@ Apollo Proton, Chennai for meningioma), I met a 22y med intern with glioma on his brain stem - inoperable position, radiation could only shrink it. His mom was so distraught, she stopped communicating with me because as his dad said "It hurts her to see our only, brilliant child weakening, with no positive prognosis, while others seem to be recovering".
His throat had necrosis fm the biopsy and he was in ICU mid radiation. I hope he's recovered. It is indeed heartbreaking...especially when you see parents of absolutely faultless little children with tumours.
Cancers rob you of so much.

THANK YOU so much for your help, my husband is going through this now and at his fourth week of radiation he's got a better outlook than I thought he would. Your story has given ME hope, something I was robbed of when I looked this horrid disease up. I'm in the USA and our doctor's aren't exactly up beat about the patient outcome. But you sir, you have given me back my hope, not for growing old together but to LIVE the best life we can while we are here.
This brought back a lot of memories from when my sister had glio, unfortunately she passed but, Dave here (all due respect if I got his name wrong) but, she was also much like him was extremely positive with an always forward, never backwards attitude. Incredible self control. My sister had one daughter which she said she would refuse to die without seeing her daughter receive her master's degree and attend her wedding. She had a total of four craniotomy's three of which she had to be awake for. These were to cut away as much as the tumor as possible but, the glio cells still invades the brain so, no other surgery was possible. She had chemo, radiation, some other experimental treatments to no avail. When diagnosed they said at best she would live a year to a year and a half. She lived three and long enough to watch her daughter marry and receive her master's and she functioned well, right up to the end. I'm so proud of her courage and strength through this, I truly believe had she not been so mentally strong through this glioblastoma would of took her much sooner. I thank my lucky star's for a sister like her and will always carry her in my heart. I pray for a cure or an aggressive treatment for other patients. Recently, I've heard they are making a lot of progress, one of which they actually use the polio virus cells against glio cell's and the results are incredible but, it is very new and still being studied. I seen it on the program 48 Hours, it was pretty interesting.
I'm so glad that you are able to live a decent life. When our son was diagnosed they said it would probably be only 12 months . He died at 13 months to the day. He did chemo radiation, and different trials for more time but it wasn't to be. His 12 months were not very good. Best of luck to you

I am very happy for you Alex.My husband was diagnosed with this terrible glioblastoma in April 22, and I lost him on the 24th July 22. I am lost and life will never be the same. Steve was positive and hoping to bitten the statistics, but everything happened to quckly and too sudden..Life and health to you Alex. Keep.atrong and prove that you are not a statistic ! You are approaching this as the best example of how each of us should live our lives. Live each day to the fullest, cherish those you love, say and convey to others how you feel and what they mean to you. I have known 4 people with glioblastoma. Each person had a different experience. As you say, statistics are grim, BUT there are those people who make up the percentages of longer term survival. I knew one person who enjoyed 10 yrs after diagnosis and time with his beautiful wife and their twins. You are unique, and your journey with this cancer will be unique, as well. Sending prayers and wishes of comfort and wellness.

my grandmother passed a year ago from glioblastoma. we caught it too late, but i truly believe she had it for a few years. we were constantly back and forth with doctors, they all said it was blood pressure/thyroid/diabetes related. all of my grandmother's symptoms pointed to glioblastoma, but doctors just never detected it. Thank you for sharing your story, i hope it helps many.
She might not have had it long before diagnosis. Mine showed up in a February MRI and wasn’t there on an MRI I had only 3 months earlier. Then it grew almost twice as big when they removed it at the end of March.
Husband has a terminal brain tumor glioblastoma tumor. I know he is suffering and coughing I feel so helpless. God bless you all for your prayers.

Why are there millions of similar stories out there, about doctors not catching the disease and ignoring red flags???? Something is really wrong with the medical system! Sorry for your loss!

This is an absolute horrible diagnosis and yet good for him. My twin sister was diagnosed and 6 weeks later died after two surgeries…she never made it to chemo/radiation. Brutal.
Same with my husband never made it to there

Still going strong! Now more than 2 years post diagnosis and clear scans. Touch wood it continues!

Why didn’t they want him to Google his disease? He would’ve found out about Dr. Thomas Seyfried, Dr. ValterLongo, etc.. and many more physicians, who are studying, and having great results with fasting and certain off level drugs for GBM.
This disease is not easily curable by alternative methods. Check out our brain tumor cocktails and you’ll see people dying every week, despite fasting/keto/cannabis/turmeric/off label drug use and all sorts. I know you probably aren’t meaning to sound insensitive.
It's a common saying that no one should google their symptoms or condition, because it tells the circumstances from the best to the very worst, and it can emotionally knock someone into a type of anxiety that is not helpful to anyone. There are no miracle treatments that involve fasting, diets, vitamin supplements, etc, and all that does is confuse people. Only their caretaking team, including their oncologists and surgeons, know what the best course of treatment is in each unique patient. I know people who only survived this diagnosis for months, others for 3 yrs and 10 yrs. I wish my best to this wonderful man, and hope he has a long term remission!

@@Babyboffa2018 It’s an important question to ask. There are a lot of very reputable doctors who believe that spike protein from the vax is contributing to the increased cancer rates that we have seen post-jab. Just because one side of the aisle has taken a militant political stance on the issue doesn’t mean that it isn’t a topic that should be looked into.
I have heard the same thing. Cancers have increased post jab and doctors are saying young people that haven't had cancers are getting turbo cancers. People in remission are getting their cancers back and worse. we are just concerned. Praying for this awesome young man.

My friend was just diagnosed . Optune is a new trial
Optune unfortunately extends the life just by an additional 3 to 4 months.
I know that medical cannabis oil and metabolic diet such as Ketogenic diet are more successful.
