This is the frequency that cats are most sensitive to; similar to our sensitivity to 3khz. I played this (with decent monitors) and my cats were like, "Whoa, what is that?" They all perked up and were looking around wide-eyed when it started playing. (My cats are fine-- no harm done.) Gives a sense of frequencies to compose music for cats. Of course, they can hear up to 64k, so not sure where to find monitors that have that kind of range.

Imagine that you can hear that without the video, hear it ALL the time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year...... It never ceases. There is no cure, there are only charlatans out there who'll sell you "Snake oil" treatments that never work and the only thing they relieve you of is the money from your pocket.
The only real way a Tinnitus sufferer can deal with their problem is to attempt to ignore it, that's what I do, ignore it.
Illness, unprotected hearing at music gigs, concerts are a few of the causes, so if you don't have it, thank whatever God you worship that the dice rolled the way that they did for you.

Even with the volume set to 1 on my PC I can hear it in both ears. I know it's not a professional test but I'm using my Bose NC700 Headphones with Noise Cancelling set to 10 (100%). If your left hear can't hear sounds from 7000-8000hz, then you have the same hearing loss as mine. I've probably had it my whole life and not noticed until i had a hearing test. It doesn't affect normal life, as these sounds are very high pitched. Higher pitched than birds chirping. So you shouldn't worry, because most sounds you hear daily are between 250-6000 hz
