Hi there! I don't own a kiln so I take my pieces to a pottery studio close by and get it fired in an electric kiln. Hence I won't be able to make a video on that. But if you have access to a pottery studio close by then you may check if they provide firing facilities. I wouldn't recommend doing it at home.
Try not to quick dry them. I wouldn't suggest that. They end up warping. You can dry them at room temperature (not under a fan or an AC vent). If you think there is bend in the clay you can try covering your with a sheet of plastic. That slows down the speed is drying and helps your work stay in shape. This works for both wheel thrown and hand built objects.
Hello mam,not just liked your video but loved it so much, thank u for sharing such a nice idea,i will definitely try this for my upcoming sets,n let u know, thank u so much mam One more request, pls make video for that lotus with dotted structure,u said it to how u got that, but after watching video it will be easy to understand .Thank u
hi neha can u tell a measure with jhumka mould for 4-5 mm beads please , and also can u tell me which size beads will look gud if we are making a double layer and triple layered chain
This bead as shown in the video is roughly around 6 mm actually. But you can place it on scale and measure it. It was the 4 th hole in the jhumka mould that I used for this. I think for a double or triple layer necklace you can try going down a size or two. Maybe the third or second hole in the jhumka mold.
I live in the US so I buy my clay locally here from a ceramic studio. Back in Bangalore, I would my clay from Clay Joy. (Owned by Mr Ramanuja). Clay Station in Bangalore too sells clay. There you can look up fine red low fire earthenware clay.
Do you mean the clay is sticky? if yes, then you just can take the quantity of clay you want and keep it on your work board for a few minutes. Once the excess water evaporates you can just knead and start using it.
I currently live in the US so I bought it locally here. If you like in India, you can approach clay Joy or Clay Station in Bangalore. Both are pottery studios. They have the appropriate clay for terracotta jewellery making. You would ideally want low fire earthen ware clay (without grog).
@@nivethachristy7812 instead of buying online I would suggest you to go to an actual store and check it out for yourself before buying it. It helps to see what fits your beads.

Mam how to make d acrylic paint to stay longer in terracotta coz it get off after 1 r 2 days? Help me with this.
Try varnishing your pieces, that would help the paint from peeling away.
@@nehagopinathpillai suggest some branded varnish that we can get in India. Name some brands pls
Thank u mam for ur replay suggest me wich product will go good.
Mam pls upload the video of painted one.
Sure but as a spacer I might just do it a single color. So that video would be boring - nothing new there 🙂
