The funny thing about the Thames.
The freezing was nothing to do with climate change, it happened because the rivers had a slower flow. Which was caused by older bridges spanning the river, as time progressed, and technology and materials improved there was no longer a need to have a where as many bridge supports holding the bridges up. Since wider spanses could now be covered with steel and iron as opposed to stone bridges
That is why the river no longer freezes, faster flowing water does not freeze.
This is the exact reason why during winter, for centuries. People would leave taps on a trickle to ensure the pipes did not freeze

85% of renewable energy is backed up by diesel generators and because these diesel generator back up the renewables they are included in the Govt stats as renewable generated energy - so in reality that breif period that Jim states as 40% is actually 15% of 40% = 6% percent energy actually generated by the wind turbines in those breif periods.
at best he is talking about grid supplied electric , that is only a small percentage of total energy usage of the country
How true,,, ie Scotland recently had to come clean by admitting the amount of power to the grid was in fact 5 to 6% via wind turbines and not the 25% they've been tabling over the last 20 years.the 40% he'son about is fiction. Dale's a fool.
Yep, you can have whole weeks where high-pressure moves in over the country and there's virtually no wind. The turbines stop and then the supply is kept running by gas and nuclear. Renewables are ok to supplement but not for base load, to intermittent!

the IPCC is NOT a 90 page report. the latest IPCC report is 6000 pages long. what the 90 page report is is a "summary for policymakers" that is written by activist political appointees, NOT scientists.

@@ClimateRealism one thing that came to mind here wrt Dales's 'oceans warming' alarm, is that hidden in those 6000 pages is a tiny chart showing the steep decline in Southern Ocean SST over recent decades, at least over 20 years iirc. Not sure if that trend was bucked this single year, but it is a massive weakness in their narrative imo. Also North Sea SST temp trend over the last 20 years is exactly flat, not that a modicum of warming would be unwelcome to us here on the Yorkshire coast! No UHI over the North Sea I guess.

Jim must have realised Burnett refers to such organisations, yet Jim quotes the BBC and the Guardian. Do you not credit the IPCC figures as creditable source?

My brother lives in Canada, and he says it was a bad year for wild fires, but not the worst, and his friends who are Canadian born tell him that every 10 years or so on average, wild fires are really bad!

Libya's dams bursting was because of 2 possible reasons only, rain NOT one of them… 1. failure to open the floodgates, if they even had any, to relieve the pressure from the 8 inches of rain water. July 4th 1910 was the hottest ever recorded, 2010 was even hotter than this year… all you need to do is follow recorded archive history to prove climate change activists LIE.
Wildfires in my state (Oregon) has decline from an average 2000 down to less than 100 fires per year. Before 1940 there were on average between 1500 and 2000 fires per yr… After 1940 wildfire prevention laws were implemented it dropped to an average 50 and 100 per yr... After 2012 when my state Stopped following wildfire prevention laws, the average was between 250 and 1000 per year. The 250 was only 2017. Climate change activists and environmentalists are causing more fires in my state. Oh, and over half the fires throughout Oregon history per year has been caused by human's carelessness.. Not climate change...
But since they say they lost control, there's nothing they can do about their so-called climate crisis. They should live their lives as best as they can, let their fake dooms day climate crisis predictions die off, right along with ALL their other failed fake dooms day predictions, and leave the rest of us the F alone..

Jim might well be correct (I don't know enough about climate) but we wouldn't know as Paul uses his own ipcc report against him and Jim has nothing, zero to back it up. I'm sick of main stream narrative pushing, the masses listened during covid and we are subsequently worse off as a population now. The amount of electricity on the National Grid produced may have been in the 40% range, but during the last 30 days, 12 of them the wind dropped to a trickle, hovering near zero. Also electricity accounts for just 20% of the energy needs for most households, planning on phasing out gas. Imagine being wholly reliant on the wind to keep the lights on and your house warm in Winter.
Yep, you only need to have high pressure sat over the country, the wind drops away, and the windmills stop! Too intermittent! Renewables are ok as an addition to the mix but as base load, it will always be gas and nuclear as the main generating sources holding the grid up for when the sun doesn't shine and the wind doesn't blow! The production of electricity should be in public hands and not run by private companies which are usually foreign-owned!

Lybian flash floods were caused by the regimes neglect of 2 mountain dams. The wildfires in hawaii were caused by environmentalists preventing the proper management (clearing) of brush and trees. And the UK has about 30 hurricanes each year, just unlucky this one in manchester hit a poorly built and maintained roof.

Its because of folks like Jim Dale spreading their nonsense that I have purchased an Ecoflow Dual Fuel generator (propane available on site to provide 100KWhrs) to connect to an Ecoflow Delta Max Solar Generator. There is little to no resilience in the UK Electrical Grid power generation supply and as the percentage of total Electrical Power Generation provided by 'Green Renewables' increases, the more unstable and potential Grid Failure increases. Solar PV doesn't work in the Winter.
