Well this fool is gonna have to cancel a lot of people including the president of COP 28 who said there is no scientific basis for the elimination of fossil fuels. China don't believe it, nor Russia, nor India, nor Latin America, or the Middle East. Co2 emissions and fossil fuel use was another all time high last year. CO2 is at .04%. Plant life dies at .02% and the level has only went up .01% in the period that has been looked at, or so they say. Patrick Moore, a founding member of Greepeace and ecologist, believes we need more CO2. He has written extensively on the subject.

That's why we pump CO2 (and heat) into greenhouses to grow food. Warmth and CO2 are not to be feared... lack of CO2 and cold are.

Just drive a car 5 or ten miles in England or phone a friend a few miles away. The weather can be COMPLETELY different.

The science journals actually censor studies they disagree with even if they are peer reviewed and found to be valid. They admit to doing this. Scientists have documented how they have to self censor their studies in order to get them published.

This guy makes me ashamed to be a qualified meteorological observer myself. I'm qualified with my NVQ level 3 and 8 years experience ranging from the tropics up to the Arctic and it does not make me a climatologist.
There are facts and figures on both sides of the debate regardless if anyone is wrong or right, you cannot supress peoples opinions because they dont align with your own.
Personally, i think climate change is a natural process, the planet has been heating up from before the Industrial Revolution, just mankind maybe contributing a bit to it.
However, the UK making itself bankrupt to change our energy to all out renewables when we contribute barely 1% of the world's CO2 emissions is just stupid.

They couldn’t predict a hurricane one day ahead, that mashed up parts of London and the south east, but yeah, they can predict decades ahead. Print a list of the predictions, current and failed, everyday in the papers, and let people decide how good they are at prediction.
