Not the best trailer I've ever seen but to be honest I also wasn't excited for TLOU after its first teaser. I remember thinking "Oh, another zombie game". I wasn't excited for it until I saw the gameplay demo which blew me away and then it ended up being my favorite series of all time. I trust ND and I have no doubts this will be great too.

The Heretic Prophet.....idk why we are overlooking that title. I know the writers are cooking something serious just from that title, its going to be heavy
Its pretty obvious this is gonna be deeper than what they've shown here, from the quote at the start to the title "the heretic prophet" its probably gonna something on the level of dune in a retro futuristic setting
Only trust, if you can verify it for now. Anyone can make a bad or mid game if they over promise or over hype their product out to be something that it is not. Time will tell, man.
I had the opposite reaction, I’m quite excited, I loved the 80s aesthetic of the game, and I love the product placements especially that Porsche Spaceship, I can’t wait to listen to 80s songs while discovering different planets
Only trust, if you can verify it for now. Anyone can make a bad or mid game if they over promise or over hype their product out to be something that it is not. Time will tell, man.
@@almightyloaf5434 Feels like an 80s songs yet they are playing a CD disc like the 90s. Hope they throw in some 90s flare style in this game, too. Seem enough of just 80s style stuff, now. Lol.
I find it interesting that, although you seen to be a ND fan, and obviously appreciate the games they've produced this far, and even acknowledge their proven track record with IP... you STILL can't even muster the enthusiasm for 1 ounces of hype for their brand new IP. Are you ok, man? I'm serious. Everything ok at home? With your life? Because I'm a little concerned for you lol
I’ve only played the last of us games and uncharted 4 with TLOU2 being my favorite game I’ve played so I’ve basically only played their most serious and grounded games. So I expected their new IP to be quite serious as well but now that I think about it they’ve also made very light hearted children’s games and uncharted really isn’t too deep. Basically TLOU games set unreal expectations for this deeming it near impossible for them to go back to their more simplistic roots. I will always trust Naughty dog with what they want to do cause after all that’s what got us TLOU2.
I think the problem with this trailer was that it didn't show enough of what the gameplay is gonna look like. I hope we see a better trailer next year. They said it has the deepest gameplay mechanics Naughty dog has ever made so I am not gonna be disappointed yet.
idkkkk i think it looks very good and the trailer got me really excited tbh. the moment i saw the graphics and the main character (the actress is gonna play nora in tlou s2, and she was also in the cursed uncharted movie) i knew it's a new naughty dog game. and i was so happy to see that trent reznor and atticus ross are doing the score for this, looooove their work! the visuals look very unique to me and it defo felt way more sophisticated than concord lmao
Im stoked about it. I get that some people are put off by the product placent, but it makes sense thematically (imo) for something that appears to be going for a sort of 80's retro futurism. With the 4:3 CRT displays, the style of the protag and her manager, etc. I see things like the Porsche logo on the ship fitting into the overall style as THE car company of 80's cool. Same with the Sony CD player, the 80s where a time when Sony absolutely DOMINATED the consumer elctronics market, especially with audio. I think it all comes together nicely to create a well curated vibe that im digging. While maybe a bit tropey, im here for it. As far as whether or not it'll be good, time will tell. But with a company like Naughty Dog, I've got absolutely no reason to assume it'll be anything other than great. They haven't missed yet. It's nice to see some criticism or hesitance about the game from a standpoint other than the reactionary crying I've mostly seen revolving around "woke agendas" or whatever. People are acting furious that ND apparently shut down comments, as if it isn't totally justified when we all know there is an army of edgy losers just frothing at the mouth to leave the most vile comments they can think of. The moment any game (especially a ND game) has a MC that isn't either a white dude or a woman they can beat off to, there will be tantrums. The simple fact that she shaves her head already has people losing their minds lmao
If Dr. Uckmann isn’t the bad guy I’ll be disappointed I will also add that it’s a bit tropey (main character loves 80s music, we’ve seen that a bit too much now). I’m sure it’ll be a great game though
I want Naughty Dog to deliver a game with an incredible story, characters that shine in their own unique ways, stunning 2025 level graphics, and soundtracks that stay with you long after. When I finally put the controller down, I want to sit back and think, wow, that was an exceptional game, an unforgettable experience for its genre.
I have mixed feelings about this because this game has been worked on since 2020 and now we have a reveal trailer and I do think this is like kind of like Concord or guardians of the Galaxy vibes here but it’s a naughty dog game so I’m looking forward to this one but I do hope this is gonna be good!
The reason ship is a Porsche is that this is meant to be an alternate universe to ours where humanity made advancements in space travel in the 1980s. (Hence the retro vibe)
Defiantly underwhelmed lol but that could change just need to see more game play and story elements for example what makes this bounty hunter more suited than the rest to escape her situation?
Naughty dog is putting the Porsche and adidas logos is because this game is probably taking place in our own world but in the very far future so they are basically saying that Porsche will be making spaceships in the future
This looks incredible from what we’ve been shown. Obviously just a teaser but there’s a lot of personality here and more lightheartedness, which they do very well. I have faith.
I want this game to release next year, but it seems unlikely because there are two major Sony exclusives will be released next year in Q3 and Q4. Since Sony won't release any major first party games in Q1 and Q2.
NYT dropped an article today saying the game will deal with religion and how far people will go for their beliefs no matter how obscured they are I def think the story is gonna be deep Neil said it’s gonna be an emotional story too
How can you feel underwhelmed or bored with this reveal? Dude I jumped of excitment to see they are going for something completely new and fresh, not generic, the setting alone is full of potential and it is confirmed thelat the gameplay will be way deeper than any of their past games. I think you are still to attached to The Last of Us and your mind wasn't prepares to see something completely different from them. When they announced The Last of Us for the first time it didn't feel special or different either, but then whwn it released and with time it grew on people and now it's a very popular IP, I feel like similar will happen with Intergalactic.
When I first watched the trailer I thought it was kinda generic and like a Guardians Of The Galaxy ripoff but now after rewatching it a few times I’m starting to get more interested about it, I think the title is kinda basic and would’ve worked better without the ‘Intergalactic’ part and just be called ‘The Heretic Prophet’ that would’ve been a cleaner and sleeker looking name imo, I adore the 80s style and visual design plus having the end music be ‘It’s A Sin’ the Pet Shop Boys is a great choice, also the fact that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are doing the musical score is another huge reason for why I’m already kinda hyped for this game
Nah I’m ngl I was super suprised to see a space themed game from this studio but the graphics a feel are gonna be insane and we gotta wait to judge until we see the gameplay. Based off the last part of the trailer with the big robot and the adidas jumpy shoes, this game looks like it will have stellar gameplay. I hope they have the last of us level gore in the case of human enemies, maybe a little bit toned down actually. I have an opposite stance I can’t wait to see more from this game! I am hyped let naughty dog cook.
I think it’s a little harsh bro… I think if naturally you don’t like the idea of a space game and the 80’s vibes you would feel that way. But the game does look beautiful and it’s something very different for ND
Is Lori Petty voicing the agent? The 80s tech vibe is kind of cool. I laughed when I heard the Pet Shop Boys(and it makes me think of Talladega Nights). It's not like they didn't foreshadow a space game in The Last of Us franchise, so this is somewhat expected. As someone who was drawn into gaming by TLOU games, I was a bit bored with the games on the horizon: most of them are fantasy/action games with lots of colors, magic, and mythical beasts. I like games that are bit more grounded, perhaps even plausible in their approach. I would expect this game to still be very "real" compared to something like Final Fantasy.
Only trust, if you can verify it for now. Anyone can make a bad or mid game if they over promise or over hype their product out to be something that it is not. Time will tell, man.
Of course they don't show too much. Think of when TLOU1 got announced. It looked like a generic zombie 2008-2013 game. But when it released, it was regarded as a masterpiece.
I’ll be honest if this wasn’t a naughty dog game I probably wouldn’t play it trailer didn’t really catch me but hopefully we see some gameplay soon I have a feeling the gameplay will be amazing I hope
Girlboss doing the girlboss thing in the first trailer LMAO REEEE I WANT THIS, AND IF I DON'T GET IT, YOU WILL PAY! 💅 Another Mary Sue girlboss. Great.
For me I’m not really that interested in space games. I love naughty dog and I’m sure it will be great but i didn’t have any feelings of excitement when seeing it
Its naughty dog execution, TLOU is another zombie Uncharted, jak and daxter, crash is another adventure game Its their execution which makes it bang i have faith in them since TLOU 2 leaks. I hated the leaks ended up loving the game...
In naughty dog I trust, I think it looks great & a lot of fun, it’s very different from anything they’ve done before. Naughty dog has yet to make anything other then a masterpiece or near masterpiece as far as I’m concerned so I’m already on board
There’s something about many modern video games that just irritate me in their conceptualisation, and you can see it clearly in this trailer. It’s always this faux-nerdy, pop culturey, marvel-esque sludge. I’m sure they tried really hard with this game, and I don’t doubt it will be at least decent, but I have zero interest in it.
Thank you for the title, I was feeling the same... like is this it? It doesn't look naught dog, but I am open to see more from it, I am sure they will build something incredible, but I didn't get as excited as I would like to
If you are going to make up a new world. Using real brands feels lazy. Why not make up new brands and new stories and new designs. That is the one thing Star Citizen does really well. They have in-lore manufacturers and companies and they have raised close to a billion dollars because of it. Star Citizen would lose something if the Origin ships were just Jaguar.
It's looks good? Music especially is top tier. When I saw the trailer I felt that naughty dog game feel. But what do I know, apparently it's woke and concord 2.0 lol, but I won't let that change my opinion. But yeah I understand your opinion too.
Totally pumped it's working for you. I 100% believe that when I get my hands on it that I'll love it, I'd just be lying if I said that trailer excited me before I saw the Naughty Dog logo!
To me it just looks bland in every regard - it’s not leaning into either the cyberpunk kind of space design but also not the dune design. It legit just feels like a 2024 woman roaming around in space for some reason lol. I’m still excited to see what naughty dog cook up but the game itself looks like it doesnt know what it wants to be from the first trailer
I’ll be honest, I’m just a casual gamer, I don’t even play that much. But I absolute hate when women are the protagonist. When I do play, it’s to escape reality, I like to imagine myself within the universe of the game I’m playing. I simply can’t feel locked if it ain’t a male. The only exception is TLOU but that’s the case sorely because of Joel being the main character in the first game ( the universe is so well written that I’d play regardless of the main character) But with all the gay bs in part 2, I don’t think I could enjoy these gay protagonist and their agenda. Also, the design of characters, why doesn’t this character look like a special force ? With this stupid outfit and that scene with the straw just made me angry at this game. Feels like a game for stupid people but I hope I’m wrong.
Apparently nowadays, we can called everything, "Generic" because we are spoiled and overly exposed to anything we've seen or get. There, I've said it. Your welcome! Lol.
Only trust, if you can verify it for now. Anyone can make a bad or mid game if they over promise or over hype their product out to be something that it is not. Time will tell, man.
Same man. Nothing about the trailer really peaked my interest. It’s Naughty Dog though so I’m sure they’re cooking something here. This reveal however was underwhelming for myself as well.
I felt the same way when I first watched the reveal plus I have Sci-fi fatigue. I feel like every game is either Sci-Fi or souls like nowadays. However after rewatching the trailer it’s starting to grow on me
Even though I'm not thrill about thier new game. I need to see more of the gameplay perspective. If it's a hack and slash game then I guess ill give a go. We'll see later on.
@ALT1308_ Sounds like a lie, considering Naughty Dog has halted split studio productions for several years now. That's part of the reason why The Last of Us Factions project that they promised their fans ended up getting cancelled. Naughty Dog wants to focus on one project at a time, going forward.
Gonna be honest: I am VERY mixed. On one hand: I totally (and even agree) with completely dismissing this or other things people have said due to ND’s recent track record. Remember: they lied about both Abby not being playable and you wouldn’t have to kill any dogs in TLOU 2, and also didn’t even finish the mfn multiplayer to 2. On the other hand: I am sort of excited to at least see some gameplay before making a final decision. I fw the song in the background (it’s a sin by pet shop boys), but it’s gonna take a solid story and set of good gameplay decisions to wow me personally. The fancy visuals and retro tech are nice, but they shouldn’t be everything.
Looks like a lame wussified cowboy bebop. Naughty dog really can't make a good game to save their life, it's been over a decade now since they lost the plot entirely 😅
Definitely did not get the goofy comedy vibes of Concord… I instead got serious Cowboy Bebop vibes! Anime, 90s/80s anime. Something happened in 1986 cause that is not “ancient history” like they said lol
@ I’m not concerned about much save for the combat. It’s supposed to be their “deepest” yet and they were supposedly inspired by Bloodborne… I’ll have to see it and get comments from those who are lucky enough to play/try it early.
Guardians of the Galaxy's game was an uninjoyable piece of boring **** (I tried so hard to like it ... but comon tell me one person who played that game through... so fckin boring) so maybe (most likely) Naughty Dog can make a game in that "retro cyber-space" style that is great, unique and enjoyable in every moment finally.
I actually played it, and I enjoyed the game a lot. I love the story and banter between the characters, and the gameplay was good for the type of game it was.

I'm excited for this. I love Tati Gabrielle and I'm a huge fan of the 80s music, can't wait to see more of this game.
I'm excited to see what they do with it!
It's hard to not see brand deals with product placement. It usually takes me out of the immersion!
@@pixel8ted That's why I would make my own companies and lore you could have a lot of fun with it.
@@pixel8ted Yeah that's fair. At least here we can talk like normal people, I'm kinda annoyed by this whole "anti woke vs woke war" tbh
Scored by NIN so music will be incredible
He’s hating for views
To me it just looks bland in every regard - it’s not leaning into either the cyberpunk kind of space design but also not the dune design. It legit just feels like a 2024 woman roaming around in space for some reason lol. I’m still excited to see what naughty dog cook up but the game itself looks like it doesnt know what it wants to be from the first trailer
Totally agree!
I’ll be honest, I’m just a casual gamer, I don’t even play that much. But I absolute hate when women are the protagonist. When I do play, it’s to escape reality, I like to imagine myself within the universe of the game I’m playing.
I simply can’t feel locked if it ain’t a male.
The only exception is TLOU but that’s the case sorely because of Joel being the main character in the first game ( the universe is so well written that I’d play regardless of the main character)
But with all the gay bs in part 2, I don’t think I could enjoy these gay protagonist and their agenda.
Also, the design of characters, why doesn’t this character look like a special force ? With this stupid outfit and that scene with the straw just made me angry at this game.
Feels like a game for stupid people but I hope I’m wrong.
Don't worry, ND have a track record of lying in their trailers - so the protagonist will probably be a white bloke
Everyone needs to chill, the game looks amazing.
Apparently nowadays, we can called everything, "Generic" because we are spoiled and overly exposed to anything we've seen or get. There, I've said it. Your welcome! Lol.
I'm hyped as fuck. love everything about this. can't wait to play it. ND never let me down.
No they don't!
Sancho west put out a good video about the branding stuff. It has a point.
Comment section with blind trust of a gaming company 🤦🏻
Cringe.
a gaming company that have yet to miss
Only trust, if you can verify it for now. Anyone can make a bad or mid game if they over promise or over hype their product out to be something that it is not. Time will tell, man.
Random dude hating a game from 5 second of gameplay , cringe
What looks meh? You didn’t have any gameplay or any story details
Same man. Nothing about the trailer really peaked my interest. It’s Naughty Dog though so I’m sure they’re cooking something here. This reveal however was underwhelming for myself as well.
Totally!
Totally!
FINALLY A CRITIQUE not just a the game is woke
This is what i imagined Concord was going to be until it got shown as 5v5 hero shooter
Haha, same!
It looks Dope, Im excited to see what Naughty Dog is cooking up
I trust them!
U expected something from this teaser ? lol
All I can say is LMAO to all those that assumed Naughty Dog was working on TLOU3. Obviously they aren't, glad this proves it.
They are working on it. They have different teams working on games in their own studio, but TLOU3 is in the beginning stages
@ALT1308_ Sounds like a lie, considering Naughty Dog has halted split studio productions for several years now. That's part of the reason why The Last of Us Factions project that they promised their fans ended up getting cancelled. Naughty Dog wants to focus on one project at a time, going forward.
I think it looks pretty cool
I'm betting on being surprised!
Single player concord lets gooo
It was so crap I actually didn’t watch the whole trailer 😂😂
It looks “meh” TF are you on?!
It looks great and fills that Blade Runner aesthetic
I do expect them to surprise us!
How is this game meh when they didnt even show any real gameplay lol.
We literally saw one trailer, how can u surmise that it’s “meh” already?, meh video
I'm very excited just because it's Naughty Dog! I have 100% faith in them. Just wish they showed some gameplay
I do fully agree!
First they kill Joel because of the woke culture, now made a game whith a woke character?
If you're gay the game is for you..
Looks like a lame wussified cowboy bebop. Naughty dog really can't make a good game to save their life, it's been over a decade now since they lost the plot entirely 😅
How can you even say it in the title. You don't know anything about the game, and it's freakin' naughty dog. It's not cool, man
Definitely did not get the goofy comedy vibes of Concord… I instead got serious Cowboy Bebop vibes! Anime, 90s/80s anime. Something happened in 1986 cause that is not “ancient history” like they said lol
I can't wait to see more!
@ I’m not concerned about much save for the combat. It’s supposed to be their “deepest” yet and they were supposedly inspired by Bloodborne… I’ll have to see it and get comments from those who are lucky enough to play/try it early.
Otro pelijuego sermoneador para audiencias modernas
Literally a teaser trailer relax
Concord 2.0
Doubt it will be, but it gives that vibe!
All these years and we get a Concord 2.0 trailer from naughty dog what a joke wtf are they thinking.
Music was cool, otherwise it looks like modern audience slop.
People said the exact same thing about the reveal of The Last of Us. Trust Naughty Dog bro
What happened with last of us 2?
@@DP-ov4bp What happened with it?
That was the exact point I made in the video. They take generic ideas and turn them into something interesting!
I’m sorry, I must be stupid, but I thought this trailer was amazing.
No many do, I think emotions are mixed. I do trust Naughty Dog though!
