Wanna play through this game so bad, but the enemies literally make my skin crawl lol huge ass rats, wolves and pigs and shit 😭😭 I’m gonna try to lock in and get through it tho.
Honestly I just recently picked it back up. I’ve beaten it before and loved every second so while we’re all waiting on Elden ring dlc might as well go for a new character in Bloodborne to pass the time
So I’ve always liked souls like games for the aesthetic and story telling. Sayin that, I only watched countless UA-cam vids. I’ve never actually bothered to play any bc of witnessing how challenging they were. I was like “yup, fuck that, I’ll just watch for entertainment.” Buttt, I got Bloodborne some months ago and finally had the nuts to take it on some days ago. It’s rough out here 🤕 ngl I summoned a hunter to gank the cleric beast, i cheesed old man hunter with the gravestone strat, ganked the white wolf chick with another hunter summon, ganked darkbeast paarl with ANOTHER old hunter summon, and I utilized the environment for blood starved beast by running around the big rectangular thing at the end of the boss room and charging up heavy’s to hit every chance I got 😂 I suck at this game and I cheese shit whenever I find ways to, but all in all, I still pride myself and it’s fun as hell. I just got to the nightmare realm. I’ve been using my trusty hunter axe for like 95% of my playthrough thus far 😂 like I said, I suck and I’m a pussy. Sooo, it’s the constant charged attacks for me. I like “distance and reach”. Not “up close and personal” lol
i have played over 400 hours but still continue to hop on & help people who reach out via discord. just helped a homie with amygdala lol. bloodborne will always have a place in my heart yo
I have much respect for you I wouldn’t have got through the chalice dungeons without some people like you that’s exactly why I play these games the community is amazing nothing but love
I've played all Soulsborne games. No boss has caused me so much trouble as did Laurence. Albeit I did end up starting The Old Hunters in NG+3, so that could explain why...Anyway, the narrow space, his massive reach, fire-explosions, wide hitbox range, onehit kill sweeps...I can go on. The guy was CRUSHING. And I played Bloodborne after all DS games, never using summons and 100% all games. This dude...a fucking tank! 2000hp hits on him felt like nothing more than a small dent to his massive HP...I guess in the end it was an epic finish to the game, but this dude belongs to Dark Souls where you can use a shield.
Bloodborne has been my favorite game since its release. I loved ds3 but bloodbornes combat just felt smoother- I loved the quickstep. Now currently Elden ring is giving bloodborne a run for its money (I got Elden ring like a year late cus I wanted to wait till I got a ps5). But still bloodborne remains king for me… for now
My son started to show interest in it and watching him play got me picking it back up and continuing my new game + and I got the dlc to explore for the first time.
I would IF IT FUCKING CAME TO PC! I had thousands of hours in BB but I sold my Playstation and don't plan on getting PS5 and don't want the soulless experience of PSnow on PC.
As a new person to these souls games, I highly recommend bloodborne, it is hard at start because you see big guys and lots of small guys but don’t know what to do or were to go, so the start is a bit rough, but after puli learn the game a bit and know we’re to go it’s amazing
Just restarted the game yesterday because when it was released I wasn't able to really soak up the story and gameplay. BUT I am now entering it with more experience from multiple Souls series games including Sekiro which definitely lends a hand.
Its so hard to trigger some quest lines, I suggest you read about some characters before you proceed or kill someone unintentionally. Some quest lines are impossible to trigger once you proceed during the nightmare night. Same as with every other ds.
For me it's the movement that's number 1. You dodge like a badass, dashing and side stepping like a boss. Not rolling around like an idiot. Some weapons have built in movement and if they don't it's usually a larger weapon with decent range. That built in movement dashes in and attacks at the same time. Nothing like that exists in dark souls or at least hardly compares to it. A bloodborne character would beat a dark souls character all day just based on movement alone.
I just started my first playthrough the other day, and so far i have breezed through most of the game no problem. Its my second souls game (first being elden ring) and i have beat moat bosses i have encountered on the first try. Cleric beast, bloodstarved beast, darkbeast paarl, vicar amelia, witches of hemwick, shadow of yarhnam, and master logarious all got beat first try, so far the only two bosses that i didnt get first try have been father gasgoine (2nd try) and rom the spider (3rd try) I dont know if i picked up on too many good habits from elden ring or what but this game has been stupid easy for me so far
i’ve played this game since launch and i still to this very day boot up my PS4 to play it. this game will forever be a masterpiece in my eyes.

❤It's 2024 and I'm playing it, I must say this game is amazing for the love of god this type of SOULS is crazy
i had to sell my PS4 to pay my bills, but i'm glad i had the time to platinum tf out of this game. Someday when i have the funds, i'll get it back
Honestly I just recently picked it back up. I’ve beaten it before and loved every second so while we’re all waiting on Elden ring dlc might as well go for a new character in Bloodborne to pass the time
You can equip a blunderbuss and a giant tombstone style hammer at the same time. Nuff said.
I never stopped
Love bloodborne. I’ve been playing through it for the first time.
Addicted to the hunt 🩸
May It Never End
i have played over 400 hours but still continue to hop on & help people who reach out via discord. just helped a homie with amygdala lol. bloodborne will always have a place in my heart yo
I have much respect for you I wouldn’t have got through the chalice dungeons without some people like you that’s exactly why I play these games the community is amazing nothing but love
Elden Ring was my first FromSoft game. I think this one is going to be next!
It's a bitch at first. But you will succeed 💪
Doing a playthrough now while waiting for Elden ring dlc
Sold..I'm playing bloodborne already..love it
Bloodborne has been my favorite game since its release. I loved ds3 but bloodbornes combat just felt smoother- I loved the quickstep. Now currently Elden ring is giving bloodborne a run for its money (I got Elden ring like a year late cus I wanted to wait till I got a ps5). But still bloodborne remains king for me… for now
Also glad you mentioned the gothic environment- it’s forsure amazing
Bloodborne is the first game From Software that l play and is a masterpiece
Literally just started playing this game. Its awesome.
My son started to show interest in it and watching him play got me picking it back up and continuing my new game + and I got the dlc to explore for the first time.
Reason to play the DLC - Ludwig's theme
Yes
Just started yesterday and I love it
just got this game a month ago, i have five different characters and 130+ hours on it, definitely worth it.
I already told myself once I beat elden ring I was gonna play bloodborne because I’m hooked and I wanna work my way back. This just confirms it.
I beat BB on NG+ yesterday on stream in 3 hours(main bosses only, lots of running. Death count like 12-13). Honestly was so fun lol.
Bloodborne was the first game I actually got on ps4 and to this day I know I made the right choice😎
Wish it was the first for me ffs
Just bought it for 10 bucks on the playstation store. Can’t wait to try it out!
Love to hear it!
I would IF IT FUCKING CAME TO PC! I had thousands of hours in BB but I sold my Playstation and don't plan on getting PS5 and don't want the soulless experience of PSnow on PC.
One of my all time favorite games. Such an amazing experience
I still play. I love helping people through dungeons
Those dungeons can be crazy difficult
As a new person to these souls games, I highly recommend bloodborne, it is hard at start because you see big guys and lots of small guys but don’t know what to do or were to go, so the start is a bit rough, but after puli learn the game a bit and know we’re to go it’s amazing
Decided to actually play through it a few days ago, i only played up to the shadows fight and well i made a new character and platinum the game lol
I will be playing it once it's not fps locked and it becomes playable on ps5
Trust it's worth it even with 30fps. Game is immaculate
I'd love to play this having played sekiro and elden ring but the 30fps with drops just make it hard to pick up, really hope for a pc release
Recently started playing it
Masterpiece in my eyes...if my eyes don't melt away with that fps first
For me it's the movement that's number 1.
Cleric beast, bloodstarved beast, darkbeast paarl, vicar amelia, witches of hemwick, shadow of yarhnam, and master logarious all got beat first try, so far the only two bosses that i didnt get first try have been father gasgoine (2nd try) and rom the spider (3rd try)
I dont know if i picked up on too many good habits from elden ring or what but this game has been stupid easy for me so far
