Im not sold that the lunarians came first. I believe the ancient kingdom was first. After the war was fought and the ancient kingdom disbanded, the WG didn’t come out unscathed. So they weren’t the superpower they are now and that’s why Lili got away with spreading the poneglyphs. The red line doesn’t seem natural. I think it was erected after the war. And the lunarians were the first to inhabit it. The WG simply recognized the potential of the decision to move there and took the idea from the lunarians. The celestial dragons dwelled on the blue sea just like the ancient kingdom.

8:13 I been saying it for a while now, the original (FIRST) Nika was from Jaya and the last Nika (JoyBoy), before Luffy, was a giant. But since Buccaneers are a thing now, he was probably a Buccaneer. But I really think he was an Ancient Giant like Oars.

The main problem I have with the theory that all Zoans CHOOSE their users is that Vegapunk figured out a way to infuse Zoan powers with inanimate objects and I can't see any way that would be aligned with the will of the fruit. It's a perversion of that very concept. On the other hand it could very well be possible that it is due to there not being a counteracting will and that this would be one of many things Vegapunk considers to be a failure. He managed only to transfuse zoan powers only when there is not a counteracting will in the host and therefore failed in being able to replicate more than the base power and not have access to powers like awakening because the power has no source of Will transvergence or resonance with another. Maybe that is another aspect of Zoan Awakening, that the will of the user and the will of the fruit itself must be in line with one another to access such an awakening. This is all just random speculation I started putting together about halfway through this comment. I think they do have their own wills but that doesn't necessarily mean that every person who eats a zoan type will have that resonance of will with the fruit itself. I think the wording that it CHOOSES the user is wrong but perhaps ACCEPTED BY the will of the fruit would be a slightly more accurate phrasing for it.

It is possible Kuma doesn't know that he is hugging Bonnie, but whatever is driving him to do what he is currently doing, he might know. We just don't have all the information yet. Heck, what is the statue even doing? For all we know the statue could be symbolizing a hug, and Kuma's bloodline could be calling back to those ancient times where that statues symbolism is relevant. Even that's a reach. It could all boil down to will power.

Vegapunk only has half of the equation of what the void century was capable of soley due to him retaining enough knowledge(with his devil fruit) and resources to reverse engineer it but hes missing the emotional, human nature and desires aspect to the technology too.
Devil fruits probs came into existence as early as the tree of knowledge on ohara did but oda may not go deep with it, he might just touch up on mankind evolving to manifest devil fruits at some point and joyboy creating a pirate kingdom with 8 other allies and lost due to the demon king imu having more allies than him that also manifested devil fruits too, so a 9 vs 20(or a 10 vs 19 if u count alabasta), and even tho the ancient kingdom had the 3 ancient weapons it wasnt enough
The buccaneers other special trait might have to do with having indomitable will or memory, maybe vegapunk was gonna say " your people once wrote the devil fruit encyclopedia/ancient texts, the buccaneers were the scholars of the void century and impeccable memorys that cant be erased
