I don’t think so. In the finale of Arrow, we still see most of the events of Season 2 still occurred with Deathstroke with the only difference being that Moira still being alive. Slade was mirakuru but what mainly drove him to go against Oliver is Shado death.
I didn’t say this last time but I hated how Oliver was saying he wasted his father’s sacrifice by pursuing the bad guys on the list. He didn’t. The dishonorable thing he did was abandon the list and allow these people to continue to abuse their power and hurt innocent people. That’s why crime in Star City never reached a point where it could become manageable enough for the city administration to handle it properly and effectively.
Oliver could die a thousand times, and be reborn a thousand times over in multiple timelines and realities, and seeing him don that green hood still is the coolest thing to come out of the CW. Love that pep talk.
A lot of people aren’t thinking about this. But Oliver said that reviving his father would’ve been too much to alter reality. He’s basically saying that like Barry’s mother being killed by the Reverse Flash, Robert Queen’s suicide is a fixed point. It can’t be undone, it can’t be altered, it can’t be changed. Robert was always going to shoot himself in the head. Not just because that’s what a father would do to protect his child under extreme situations, but also there was no other way, because that is their fate. Robert’s destiny was to die. Just like Nora Allen.
I was so glad to see Stephen back as the Green Arrow! He started Barry on this path, so it was only fair for Oliver to be there to see him through it one last time as Barry finally became the hero that Oliver knew he was destined to become. The only thing that kind of irked me was when Barry mentioned all of the people that Oliver brought back to life, it’s still a sore spot for me that he left Laurel for dead.

Oliver could die a thousand times, and be reborn a thousand times over in multiple timelines and realities, and seeing him don that green hood still is the coolest thing to come out of the CW. Love that pep talk.
A lot of people aren’t thinking about this. But Oliver said that reviving his father would’ve been too much to alter reality. He’s basically saying that like Barry’s mother being killed by the Reverse Flash, Robert Queen’s suicide is a fixed point. It can’t be undone, it can’t be altered, it can’t be changed. Robert was always going to shoot himself in the head. Not just because that’s what a father would do to protect his child under extreme situations, but also there was no other way, because that is their fate. Robert’s destiny was to die. Just like Nora Allen.
Arrow’s soundtrack really is so beautiful.
I was so glad to see Stephen back as the Green Arrow! He started Barry on this path, so it was only fair for Oliver to be there to see him through it one last time as Barry finally became the hero that Oliver knew he was destined to become. The only thing that kind of irked me was when Barry mentioned all of the people that Oliver brought back to life, it’s still a sore spot for me that he left Laurel for dead.
Yeah well the showrunners are guilty of making a lot of stupid decisions with the arrowverse.
@@lorenzo49619 sorry to say this but laurel died the way she supposed to die. remember s01? laurel in an attempt to save some useless papers was gonna die but tommy saved her and died instead. As tommy is alive in this new time line, so its logical that laurel died in s01.

I will forever love Oliver Queen. Stephen Amell does such an amazing job bringing the character to life. His growth and transformation are exceptional. Such a fun character to watch on the screen❤❤❤

1:47 this statement here makes sense when you compare Robert Queen’s suicide, to the murder of Nora Allen. Both events are fixed points. They can’t be changed, or altered. Those events have to happen for Oliver and Barry to become the heroes they were meant to be.
You know these later seasons haven't been great. But every so often you get one of these amazing scenes like this that the show no longer deserves
Ya know as phenominal as this scene and episode is my one and only complaint that i had after watching this scene and episode for the first time was "where the hell was this amazing writing like 3 fucking seasons ago???" Like bro did Oliver really have to return for us to have a reminder of the great writing The Flash used to have back in the early seasons??? But with that being said this scene is amazing. The talk of guilt and sacrifice is some very real things and i love shit like that.
