Truly think the "where did you get the number" and "little black book" dialogue at 1:50 is a subtle nod to Creasy getting the license plate of Pita's kidnapper from her diary in MoF.
@@slyguythreeonetwonine3172 I found that interesting, so I checked my iPhone (with the latest OS). When I tuned down the volume on my phone, there was no shutter sound.

When Denzell's character was talking with Dakota Fanning's CIA character in the cafe, Denzell said "too-shet" for the french word "touchez", which is pronounced "too-shay". I've noticed a few times Denzel does that now and then. I don't know if that is a mistake missed by the dialogue/script supervisor, or if he does it on purpose to give his character a little human realistic flaw.
I agree with the Dr. "it's like cancer there is no cure" a likening towards politicians and the US Gov't. Great realistic scene when the car bomb blew, ow, my ears/ balance, just like when I was a newbie in VNam. Luv you Dakota!
I have watched this wonderful film over and over and each time i am getting to understand it more, Denzel your are the greatest, and to me i maybe wrong but i don't think this is the end of the Equalizer, somehow i get the feeling that Dakota Fanning is being groomed to be the next Equalizer, with some help along the way from Denzel, just listening to the things she is saying in the movie makes me think so. And to those who think Denzel is too old, think of this. (Age is a state of mind, we don't just grow old by simply living a number of years, we also do so by giving up our ideals.)
That's the movie we want but the movie we don't deserve. Imagine if they gave it to Nolan and made it follow a story similar to Dark Knight but with a Casino-Royale type world tour of locations as they followed Wick and Mccall on some of their previous black ops around the world, all leading back to the same villain they they go after in the present day. Maybe throw in a love story of Wick and where he met his wife
Robert already knew she is his bestfriend's daughter by mentioning the "black book". That's why he protected her and get revenge on the mafia for hurting her. His aim already gonna take down the mafia so he made it personal. Apart from that, seeing both Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning acting together since their movie Man Of Fire really awesome and amazing! Dakota from cute little kid became a gorgeous women now and Denzel doesn't look age much!

Hollywood seems to think tiny girls, or girls in general, are formidable, or intimidating to men. But Hollywood is mostly limpwristed fags, so it's not like they understand actual men. Denzel Washington is the ultimate Equalizer. I remember seeing the Equalizer on TV. British show and that guy played an awesome Robert McCall. I refuse to watch today's woke Equalizer with Queeny.
So many good movies ruined by the casting of young, attractive females in roles that don't ring true. A top CIA operative that looks 21 y.o: a DA looking like she's 22 and a super-model, and in your historical dramas, a young slip of a girl wielding a sword and slaughtering murderous Vikings or barbarians.
From Man on Fire to this. Two great actors in two great movies!!
