Nah we do have pretty great metal bands these days still, they just don't get the same exposure and media attention they used to in the golden era of metal. Bands like Vektor, Havok, Angelus Apatrida, Arcania and so many others.
Bruce is trained in Opera singing .. a U.K. fencing champion.... He actually is the pilot of the bands 747 plane ... Ed Force One ... The dude is multi talented
I remember Bruce being called "The human air-raid siren" for his ability to belt out a note and hold it for such a long time. His lung capacity must have been enormous.
Bruce is known as "The Human Air Raid Siren". He was actually given the name by a fan who hated him after he first joined the band. The fan said something to the effect that it was like listening to "his favorite Maiden songs played through an air raid siren"...or something like that. The name fit quite well and the rest is history. UP THE IRONS!!!

I just saw them on their current tour last year, and they kick just as much ass as they did back when I first saw them in the 80's. And they're all pushing 70 years old now, crazy! Inspirational for sure. Definitely ignore the haters, listen to what interests you.
Need to check out the album Powerslave imho their best. Aces high, two minutes to midnight, back in the village, rime of the ancient mariners. Every song is 💥
53 years old and grew up on Maiden and Priest. The fact that these guys are still out there killing it blows my mind! Judas Priest just released an album 55 years after their inception and its crazy!! Check out their new release Invincible Shield!! Rob is in his 70's still mashing it!!! Let's Go!!!!!!
That album is sooooo good! I just heard a couple songs over the weekend and think I’m gonna download the whole thing soon! Rob Halford and his classically trained voice are the gifts that keep on giving! 😂❤
That’s how you end your first 3 video day!! Putting some respect on the OGs of Metal! Your old soul is what is so endearing to me and many others, speaking from an older generation. Great reaction wish it woulda made the playlist but loved watching as always!!❤❤
No offense to the grunge guys. Some of that stuff is good. But now we're getting back to the good stuff today. Number Of The Beast. Yes! This whole album is amazing. Along with many others from Iron Maiden. You will be missing out ALOT if you don't continue with them.

Little fact about the scream at the start, the producer Martin Birch (RIP) had Bruce do vocal takes of the entire intro for hours and hours until he was so fuming he started throwing things around the studio. Eventually the greatest scream in metal came out of his pure frustration. Goes to show just how amazing of a producer he really was, despite Bruce disagreeing with him at the time im sure he'd agree it was worth it in the end. Keep up the uploads man you deserve every bit of attention you get, killing it brother 🤘
Undeniably one of the greatest hard rock/heavy metal albums ever, from beginning to end!! It's on my short list of "desert island" albums. You can't go wrong with anything on it but "22 Acacia Avenue" has always been a standout for me. I love that it's basically a sequel to "Charlotte the Harlot"
For me Iron Maiden is so special because they have a drive that feels like a punk rock band. Also they are so bass-driven, which is just awesome, once you learn to take note.
They aren’t punk, they are heavily influenced by prog, psychedelic, hard rock, and there are some folk, blues, classical and punk +/- (punk influences appear more in their first 2 albums but not overwhelmingly)
Love your kids. This was the first album I bought with pocket money at the age of 10. I'm now 51! This is the album that defined me ( and scared me a little as a kid :-). One of the best albums ever made.
Don't worry about critics. You are doing great. Interesting commentary and fun discovery on your part. Keep up the great work. Remember this was the pre-digital era, the album artwork was done by hand. Have a great day.
My very first album, with a fun kid story: I was 12. For the start of the school year, I asked my mother to buy me an Iron Maiden t-shirt, because I thought the image and the writing of the name were cool. Naturally, to show off, I told my mates I loved the band (even though I'd never actually listened to them). I organized a party at home, birthday party style, and a friend invited to make me happy bought me this album, which had just been released. That's how I discovered and immediately loved this band. It was my only record, or at least the first complete album of a band I had. In those days, when you had a record, you listened to it over and over again, not like today's new generation of music consumers. This time I could say it for real: I'd become a real Iron Maiden fan. RIP Clive Burr
Anyone else agree Mollyboy would love Alice Cooper? Alice Cooper - Billion Dollar Babies( 73) 🔥 I love Maiden, Sabbath, Priest etc and all those artists admire Alice! Hanging and beheading himself on stage, Alice turned the rock show into theatre !! Forgive my enthusiasm but often Alice gets overlooked on reaction channels and was huge in the 70's and has never stopped. Still putting out material and killing it live!! There were so many stories of the grotesque shocking acts Alice would do on stage. I genuinely enjoy Molly Boys reaction and honestly would love to see how he responds to Billion Dollar Babies !!
Great choice, mister. Music is subjective... people need to remember that. Even if you react to something I don't know or particularly like, I'm still here for it because of the journey. Watching these journeys for those of you who are really in it for the music is amazing. Keep grinding... but take some time off too. We will all still be here! If people don't like what you're doing... let them go start their own shit. And yes, ignoring the hate or people judging you based on their personal opinions on anything is always the best practice.
I've been a fan of iron maiden since I was a kid in the 80s, it's so good and refreshing to hear your raw, unbiased, truthful reactions to these heavy metal songs, keep expanding on it👍🏽
I was lucky enough to see them on this tour. They opened for The Scorpions. The album was only a few months old and many of us hadn’t heard it, or Bruce yet. They blew me and The Scorpions away! I became a life long fan at that moment. You really need to do a live version of one of their songs. To this day, the best live show around. They sound better live then on album imo. This song was wrote after Steve Harris(bass player) watched The Omen 2 and had nightmares after that. 🤘🏼
I'm an old metalhead and this Iron Maiden era video and footage from that tour was from one of the first concerts I ever went to when I was 14 years old! This is where I started my metal journey back in 1982. Ignore the haters, I love your channel and you're doing justice to this music! You HAVE to do Black Sabbath's "Symptom of the Universe"!!! They were a big inspiration for Metallica. It's like no Black Sabbath you'll ever hear! It's hard, fast, heavy and the drumming is awesome too. You could imagine Metallica covering it. And the last part of the song will blow your mind and Ozzy's vocals are the nail in the coffin to make it a perfect song! Please, for my 56th birthday coming up in a month, do this song!!!
Mate, do want you enjoy and ignore the haters. I'm 50 this week and was listening to all this sort of stuff from the early 80's onwards an your videos have reminded me of all the good music I'd forgotten about, keep up the good work!
I have Maiden tickets this November at the Tacoma Dome in WA state and I'll be at the front wall receiving the full crush of the crowd. It'll be my first Maiden concert although I wish I saw them in the 80s. I also haven't had a haircut since 2022 so I'm stoked and ready.
Forget the haters. You’re keeping great music alive! I saw an interview with Bruce Dickenson who said the producer kept making him hit that scream at the beginning, and got him so pissed off that he just unloaded on that take.
Thank you so much for these three awesome bands today!!! I feel like my day is complete now!! I have been suggesting your channel to all my metal friends. This channel fucking rocks!! All of your reactions are mind blowing and on point!! 💯🤘🏼\m/ 🤘🏼
Screw those haters Molly! I'm 52 years old and a sub. I deeply enjoy your videos! The Internet is full of haters, folks devoid of anything else to do and so hate - let them wallow in hate and you keep doing your thing...they hate it! Rock on Molly! Btw, excellent reaciton as always!
First two albums got me hooked into heavy metal in 1980 Iron Maiden Iron Maiden and Killers album before Bruce became their singer, RIP Clive you was the best drummer they had.
I Luckily got to see Maiden the first time 1983 Quiet Riot opened up for them At the U.I.C.Pavillion in Chicago .Was my first of many times seeing them. Cheers from the USA bro!!!!!
MY LATE HUSBAND LOVED IRON MAIDEN AND HE WENT TO ALOT THEIR CONCERTS. HE WOULD GET HOME AND COULDN'T HEAR FOR A FEW DAYS LOL! I KNOW A FEW IRON MAIDEN SONGS HAD I.M. T -SHIRT FOR YEARS, THEIR ALBUM COVERS ARE AWESOME!! AWESOME REACTION MOLLYBOY!! 😊 🩷 🤘 ✌️ 🔥
This is your journey. You don't need to explain the path youre taking to anyone. A lot of us are just glad you invited us for the ride. Watching you hear it for the first time reminds us of our first time.
Don't listen to the haters, my friend. You are doing a great job, and have embarked on a fantastic journey to discover classic metal that means so much to me and many others. Up the Irons!
Don't ever think your doing a shit job if people don't like this music they must be deaf....or dumb or both not worth a response you rock and totally entertain me we would be good friends I love watching you react to the music that brings me so much joy. Cheers mate
You are the best newcomer to youtube honestly, keep it going mate 🤝 and whatever you react to there will always be new people that wanted to see just that one video and stick around for longer because you have got a personality, not just staring at the video for 5 minutes and call it a day. Much love 🫶
Ignore the haters mate. I like the fact you will listen to music outside of your norm. Ive listened to all your reactions so far and have enjoyed your take on all of them. Best of luck with growing your fan base.
Keep up the good work man! No reason for anyone to say they dont like something lol. Some people are unaware that there's opinions in this world other than their own. Ignore those knobs and do what you do.
Eddie has been a part of Iron Maiden since the beginning of. The musical talent in this band is just not seen anymore, I wish i could just stay in the 80’s when the music was at its best I believe. And don’t let the haters ever get you down bro. You’re doing a good thing here and you are highly entertaining, and I can respect that! 🤘🤘🤘
I'm SO very excited that you're covering this song... I'm hoping I got the words right when I'd invite 10-20 people to a gig & when there were delays, I sang about 10 different songs to them... And as I said this was 1 always sang.😢 I ve been waiting & looking...& NOW - let's get to the music. Just wanted you to know cutie pie, great job in choosing & now that I found you I will visit again 😊 🎧🎸🎹🥁🎸🎙️ Ciao for Now 👩🎤🎼🎶🎵🎚️🎛️💽 Heide Costa
Great reaction ! One of the things I like most about this era(& earlier) these groups sounded this good even live without Autotune or enhancements & most of them were performing for hours at this level 4 or more days a week !
Nicely said mate about people throwing shade at you. There will always be bands people don’t like, you can’t please all of the people all the time. I’m not a huge fan of Iron Maiden but you have to address them if you’re covering metal music. They’re a must. Keep up the good work bro, we support you 🤘🏼

Hi @MollyBoyTV, I really enjoy your exploration and discovery of the music I grew up with. It's so fun to see younger people appreciate the older stuff, and especially other genres than they listen to - Wonderful. And you have a GREAT point in letting viewers know that this is Your Channel, and if they do not want to watch some reactions (I know I don't) - just skip it and wait for the next one. Anyway - new subscriber here from Sweden - a 60 year young dude who grew up with hard rock and heavy metal.
Welcome to the world of classic british metal. I have seen Iron Maiden 17 times and their live show is awesome. Bruce has great vocals and is their pilot taking the band around the world on their tours. So many great songs. Enjoy!!!
H: Having A: Anger T: Towards E: Everyone R: Reaching S: Success Dont sweat them. Love Maidens sound so much. Love me a screamer. This old hippy loves the classics. Looks like all u get today from me is love, lol. Thanx so much, Peace🤘🏼🤘🏼🔥🔥❤❤
Great reaction bro. Really enjoying the channel. I've been listening to metal since 2007 started with Linkin Park lol. Love all this stuff. I've been through many phases but heavy metal is timeless. I will always listen to this stuff and i still get goosebumps hearing this 15 years later !
First album I bought that started my journey in Metal. 1981 I was 13. Blew my mind then. Still blows my mind now. Special Album for me. Keep on with the good work you’re doing. 🤘🤘👍
So awesome to see today's generation enjoying and appreciating some classic metal. I concur with you MB, it's just not the same now. The musicians today are incredible, but the music lacks the emotion. Solos now are all about speed and technique ... there's no heart, no soul. I mentioned it before, a banger Maiden guitar solo is on Phantom of the Opera ... give'r a listen. Cheers
I always love your videos no matter what you're viewing. You have introduced me to groups I otherwise would have never heard. Ignore the haters don't let them get to you that's what they want. You know you're doing a great job. The numbers talk my friend!😊
One thing about Iron Maiden I’ve noticed is the big songs “everyone” knows of theirs are good but the songs that you’ll discover once you deep dive into their discography are epic! 🔥🤘Up the Irons!
I seen the Piece Of Mind tour in 1983 -1984 in Toronto 🇨🇦 I was 17-18yrs old front row center stage at Wonderland 's Kingwood Theater Totally crazy night, so glad I was able to witness in their prime!!!!!
Love your channel mate. All the way from Australia. I never miss a video. Don't listen to the comments in the chat. This is your channel. You do you. React to what ever videos you want. Your doing an amazing job 🤘🤘🤘🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
I was 14 years old and my friend snagged this record from his older brother . I was hooked immediately and have been a life long Maiden fan . I'm glad you are enjoying this 🤘🤘 Try to see them live , they are still one of the best bands around .
I just want to say… Even though I don’t listen to everyone that you have reviewed, I do appreciate your videos. I love your genuine reactions but I do appreciate the classic rock. & People like me, who maybe they haven’t heard what I suggest, or even like it.. it makes me appreciate someone even more if they do a reaction to something I suggest, even if just one time. Soo… screw the people who complain about what you review. It’s your channel! & what brings people back is you reacting to different things because then people feel seen! So! Don’t let the people drag you down! I love your channel & your content. I will continue to suggest Avatar, keep checking & keep watching! ❤❤ You rock Mollyboy!
I enjoy your reactions! Bruce is a singer, an olympics level athlete, a jet pilot ("Ed Force One")... and man, you have to watch how much he runs live! He is a legend. He even sung, more or less, without voice. An entire live! I still remember the album. It was Live at Donington. He made a miracle.
Thank you for playing a banger! I really really appreciate seeing someone your age loving real heavy metal. I think you will like Montrose, album of the same name. Every song rips so just pick one and go!
Great reaction mate! This is still one of the greatest metal tracks ever. Bruce is on fire. More maiden please - Revelations, Children of the Damned, To Tame a Land, Aces High....and on and on and on
They were, and I guess still are inspiring young musicians everywhere. My first band was an Iron Maiden Cover band. I was 15. That was after Piece of mind came out I believe. The cops used to come and tell us to turn it down or off when practicing sometimes, but they would say "It's cool you guys are playing Maiden"
Just got home from the doctors and this surprise was waiting for me!! One of my faves ! It has been an amazing day! 🤘🏼💋 P.S. ignore the haters. That bothers them more than a response!
Hey Mollyboy, Iron Maiden are legendary and yes they are most definitely still playing, I seen them last year at the Utility Arena Birmingham...., keep up the amazing work dude 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I live in Australia and Iron Maiden are touring in September this year. I'm sooo excited I grew up with their music I'm 59 & these guys will be 65 up to 72 years old. 😊
I'm beginning to realise I grew up in a golden age of music for metal. Nothing comes close today.🤘❤
#SameFam
The Golden age of Hip-hop as well, was such a great couple decades in every genre really.
And the bands from now I do listen to, started in that time! lol
In other words you faced up, made your stand, and realized you'd been living in the Golden Years. 😈
Nah we do have pretty great metal bands these days still, they just don't get the same exposure and media attention they used to in the golden era of metal. Bands like Vektor, Havok, Angelus Apatrida, Arcania and so many others.

happy birthday mm .. cheers
Happy birthday 🤘
Hapoy bday. Here is an "an" hahaha sorry 😢😂
The bassist, Steve Harris wrote this after a dream he had.
I'm 55 years old, I've heard this song hundreds of times at least. Totally gave me goose bumps.
55 years too. Still rocking metal everyday!
1968 checkin in. 🤘
58 years old, and still a huge maiden fan. I played this album till the record wouldn't play anymore. Classic.
You are def not alone

Bruce is trained in Opera singing .. a U.K. fencing champion.... He actually is the pilot of the bands 747 plane ... Ed Force One ... The dude is multi talented
I remember Bruce being called "The human air-raid siren" for his ability to belt out a note and hold it for such a long time.
His lung capacity must have been enormous.
I believe that their plane is a 757
Again, there will never be another decade like the 80's. Metal, pop, rock.... you name it, it KICKED ASS!!!
You're doing great Molly!... Not everyone has to be satisfied on YT... Its your channel and you decide the content...
Ya true, but so cool to let us "pick" I voted for this!
Maybe he can do this here and there
Bruce is known as "The Human Air Raid Siren". He was actually given the name by a fan who hated him after he first joined the band. The fan said something to the effect that it was like listening to "his favorite Maiden songs played through an air raid siren"...or something like that. The name fit quite well and the rest is history. UP THE IRONS!!!
Two Minutes to Midnight and Power Slave are must do songs by Iron Maiden.
And Aces High…the whole Powerslave album is amazing
Seventh son of a seventh son. I’d pay to see u react the that. What a ride is it. Album version
ACES HIGH from LIVE AFTER DEATH for me is awesome 👌 🤘
Throw Rime of the Ancient Mariner in there!
UP THE IRONS!!! 🤘
Eddie is kinda their mascot. He’s on every album cover 🤘
Let’s not forget the T-shirts. Oh my God I’ve been a fan for 30 years and I’ve seen so many awesome designs.
@@freekshow197888 Yes!
Nobody freaked out their parents like we did with this stuff 😁
I never got around to getting a tattoo, but if I ever did it would have been some sort of Eddie. Probably from Somewhere in Time or Powerslave.

I love old school metal and Alice n Chains..
The album is namnet Number of the beast and it came out in 1982. It was the singer Bruce Dickinsons first album with the band.
Steve Harris is a top 5 bassist IMO 🔥🔥🔥

He has a hand in almost every song lyric as well
Definitely the first favorite bassist I had, he's fantastic!!

Woe to you, oh Earth & sea...
My friend bought this album when it came out in 1982 and we saw them LIVE that summer!!! Been a fan forever..........
its homage for H.P.Lovecraft's "Call of Cthulhu"
but remember about Fear Factory - Self Bias Resistor
No more Tears - Ozzy
This is your journey. You don't need to explain the path youre taking to anyone. A lot of us are just glad you invited us for the ride. Watching you hear it for the first time reminds us of our first time.
Loving your page, Molly Boi ! Keep doing what your doing .
Don't listen to the haters, my friend. You are doing a great job, and have embarked on a fantastic journey to discover classic metal that means so much to me and many others. Up the Irons!
Their mascot Evil Eddie always comes out on stage ! And there are many variations of . Also check out them with their first singer like Running Free .
Much love 🫶
I saw these guys a few years ago. OMG was it awesome!! Def one of my favorite concerts. They were/are still killing it
Ignore the haters mate.
Lead singer is one of the UK's most preminant WW2 historian, and a licenced pilot...Bruce is a cool dude
Great job brotha! "We don't get bands like this anymore". You're damn right! Keep up the great work!
HOLY SHIT HE DID NUMBER OF THE BEAST!!!!! I have the album on vinyl and the songs are so good. You need to finish this album.
Great reaction ! One of the things I like most about this era(& earlier) these groups sounded this good even live without Autotune or enhancements & most of them were performing for hours at this level 4 or more days a week !
Well played mate. Keep going down that Maiden rabbit hole. So many classic songs to discover. 🤘
Enjoy!!!
First album I ever bought, still got all my maiden vinyl 30 yrs later, love all your metal reactions
Exceptional day of reactions Molly.

Dont sweat them.
Great Reaction! Thank you for appreciating the music of that era! Up the Irons!!! 🖤
I seen the Piece Of Mind tour in 1983 -1984 in Toronto 🇨🇦 I was 17-18yrs old front row center stage at Wonderland 's Kingwood Theater
Totally crazy night, so glad I was able to witness in their prime!!!!!
Love your channel mate. All the way from Australia. I never miss a video. Don't listen to the comments in the chat. This is your channel. You do you. React to what ever videos you want.
Your doing an amazing job 🤘🤘🤘🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Ignore the haters. I love your reactions, you're awesome, man!
You are doing fantastic Mollyboy!! The clansman live rock in rio 2001, Dance of death live!! Off Maidens new album The Parchment!! ❤️
I was 14 years old and my friend snagged this record from his older brother . I was hooked immediately and have been a life long Maiden fan . I'm glad you are enjoying this 🤘🤘
Try to see them live , they are still one of the best bands around .
You're doing a brilliant job dude and its such fun seeing your journey into Metal 🤘
More maiden please - Revelations, Children of the Damned, To Tame a Land, Aces High....and on and on and on
Ha! Been waiting on this one! We knew it had to happen eventually. 🤘
