Brother corporal Kelly!! The suspense is killing me. I don’t know if I can wait two weeks. You are the man. Love all your products love your channel and content. Nicely done, brother I got your back 110%.❤❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Sir how are you, hopefully all is well and your videos are very informative. I wanted to mention something about the blow outs or "highlights" on your videos. I do a lot of photography and I use Photo Shop and am able to use it to get the information out from the "highlights" area and make the area in the photo more "pleasing" if you will. I don't do video and have no experience with processing videos but I believe that the Photo Shop software for video does allow for retrieving the information from the "highlights".
I just have my alarm set for 1100 every Sunday morning, haven’t missed an episode the past few years now. Sometimes I can’t get to it right when you drop a video, but it’s on my mind all day so when I get home, here I am!
Septuagenarian here…though my sleeping on the ground days are over…can’t get back up anymore…high mileage. 😂 I’m fortunate in that I have upland hardwood ridges as my “back yard” and can prowl around on “good” days. I still can use a hammock or raised bed, just can’t get up off ground. I really enjoy your channel and content as well as the various construction jobs you have done on your property. Great variety there! Love the deer blind and ground shelters / bunker construction. Your casting projects certainly put a welcome spin on making your own bushcraft tools. Kudos for that! I learned land navigation with map & compass back in the 1960’s but enjoyed the well executed refresher. Also the hobo fishing kit was great. As an FYI, I do get my UA-cam notifications for each of your videos as well as your emails. I do not use the various social platforms such as facebook, instagram, tictok, or Twitter…just my personal choice. Want nothing to do with them. I bought your pot and water bottle set for use on my woods-craft ventures for soups, broths and such. Great one person piece of kit. Also bought the Hardcore Camp Companion axe. Good piece of kit for back woods construction. I like it better than my old Vaughn Rigger’s half-hatchet. Bigger hammer poll, better balance and shorter handle. The Hardcore Axe is in my bushcrafting tool kit bag that I drop in my “woods handicap mobility vehicle”, a Kawasaki 4x4 mule. I do enjoy getting out in nature to watch critters and make stuff under the shade of the trees. I’m still waiting on the drive-in hook. Seems to be late in shipping but I’m not in a hurry if you’re backed up in getting them made. Continue to walk your own walk. 👍👍
I love my camping companion hatchet. It was sooooo sharp when I got it and love their cheekiness by including a bandaid with their welcome letter. 😂😂😂 I can't wait to use it on my tree that was recently cut down.
I have studied primitive, military and pioneer survival and its theory since Vietnam. You have a great channel with solid instruction and no bullshit! I and others had decided on a 25lb pack during the war electing to carry more ammo and foregoing food. To this day, in my 70's, I still do the same thing along with a waist belt redundancy. Great, great channel!!!
Wow! Camping in an "upgraded" Rock House. Excellent demonstration of a Fire Drill in high humidity. I wrongly anticiapated a browse bed of leaves with a Cowboy Canvas Bedroll on top. I suppose that Cowboys did that when they didn't have rock ledges or logs to build off-the-ground beds! I enjoyed it.
I didn’t get to watch this till Monday. I took the basic survival coarse this weekend and the humidity and rain made it a challenge. But it was great way to test my skills and physicality levels at 55yo I learned a lot and it was a honor to meet and train with You ,Jake and Kenny. And for those of you considering taking a class DO IT, it’s money well spent you won’t be disappointed!!!!
You really banged your left thumb hard that must have been excruciating...forging This is a really cool cowboy camp in the warm spring ( your birds are quiet today)Thanks for ideas...one day
Would be cool to see you do a vehicle based 3 day camp. I live in the tropics of Australia and my camping setup relies on being able to drive into my camp-site. Having cast iron cookware, all the tools you'd ever need ( including a chainsaw), a bucket toilet and being able to carry 20+ gallons of water makes it a joy to be out. If you're ever out in Australia I have access to 40,000+ acres of land with pigs, deer, foxes, pigeons and roos all to hunted, a d9 bulldozer to cleat any sites and more than 200 gold mines from the Gold rush era, all with spoil piles full of gold.
WHERE... EXACTLY!😁 I'm sth wst corner. Cold as a bastard in winter and the tigers love to warm up in the water. Gotta watch where you tread. But then being on foot is easier, plenty of water. The grey does make good tucker but I prefer brushtail if you don't mind getting around at night. Anyway, you sound like a real lucky bastard with all that land and wildlife... Never eaten croc but I hear it's good. Good on ya for postin', and good luck with the property. Universal Sovereign Citizen
@PrepperNation_H Sorry to hear about your father. He sounds like a staunch man. If it weren't for a few medical issues that keep me connected to the system I certainly would be living the life of a carefree Riley. Hope you manage to get to wherever you find yr bliss.
Shawn, Outstanding Video and also Thanks for showing the best way to make a Drill and Fire board set , I wished I would have seen this back in the early 70s when I was in Boy Scouts . You Are The Hardest Working Man On UA-cam Bushcraftering, Survival, Camping. Also Thank You for Your Time In Service and Keeping Us Safe. Tim L. U.S.Army Vet.
I don't know if I have different settings, but I've been consistently getting both midweek and Sunday notifications for a couple months. I leave the notification on my phone to remind me so when I have a chance I can watch!
You have worked hard to get to where you are, your content is incredible and real world. Keep doing what you are doing and let the naysayers live their lives in Mommy's basement. Outstanding AF!
Hi Shawn, just want to say thank you for all you do in the survival/bushcraft community! Finally I managed to snag one of your cup and bottle sets! Dang, they sell out so fast! This time I clicked on the video as soon as it dropped and ordered myself a set!! Have a great training weekend!😊😊😊
Did you do this solo overnighter just for me? Lol. That's awesome!❤ I was starting to miss these too! Thanks again for everything that you do! It definitely brings joy to my life! Seriously!❤
Great series CPL! Keep em coming! I appreciate your time and effort making this for us. Also, i still get the notification and always look for the next video on the list and play it wether I watch it or not.
Thank you, brother, for the video. I know you may not remember us talking about this but I reached out to you to ask your advice on this for my area and you were great enough to respond to me and gave me even more advice to do as well. You are awesome brother keep the videos coming.
I did get notification today! Even subscribing and selecting 'all' for notifications, it's about ⅓ that I do receive notification on anything appertaining to frugal living, self sufficiency, homesteading, bushcraft skills, et cetera; Yet, somehow I get force-fed all sorts of worthless garbage. I should probably just accept that the overlords know better than I ever could, just what I should be listening to, watching or (Skynet-run Minitrue, forbid!) reading.
Yeah UA-cam has become more and more stupid as the second hand tick's forward!!!! Blankety blanking blank blank don't get me started!!!! But this guy is one that deserves to be looked for!!!! And he's cute to isn't he Christine????
Man where I live in northern Punjab (potohar plateau) of Pakistan there are alot like ton of common krait snkes. And here are some facts; They are active at night. In rainy seasons they look for warm and dry spot like under the tarp. And worst part is that if they bite you you will feel little to no pain and die sleeping. I have to carry tent all close just some exta weight😢. Also love your content gives me ton of information especially land navigation courses. As there are no such schools here. Love your content from opposite side of globe.
Loving the series Corporal!!! Passive and active, the hobo reel, fishing! All that I ask is, can we have one of you catching and preparing? Be a nice skill to show. Understand time restraints/views. THE RAKE IS BACK!!!😂🤙😂 Knocked it outta the park with the bed and fire, plus chow! Thank you, Corporal! Semper Fi, Marine
Another great vid. Glad I was able to snag my cup and bottle set a month or so ago, took a few tries to actually get it. They sell out FAST. BTW, cup and bottle set is awesome AF. Just as advertised, if not better.

Sorry I'm late, been sick.. thank you for ALL you do and teach us. ❤
10am Eastern DST, no notifications necessary, the Corporals video drop, no doubts about it.
I get all your notifications from youtube and website, mid and weekend ones
Loving the bow drill fire. Thank you for stating you had to "work for it". That shows the challenge to make a friction fire.
I love my camping companion hatchet. It was sooooo sharp when I got it and love their cheekiness by including a bandaid with their welcome letter. 😂😂😂 I can't wait to use it on my tree that was recently cut down.
I love that you did this version. Thorough AF on your ideas as always!
I normally watch Sunday nights. But life happened, so here we are on Wednesday afternoon.
Liked @ 2:55 for the reappearance of the DiY rake!
I have studied primitive, military and pioneer survival and its theory since Vietnam.

Great video. Sean. On the bright side, canned ravioli is better than at least half of the 1st gen MREs that I had to eat - haha! Have a great class!
Outstanding as always.

Ravioli cold outta the can! LOVE IT! I've been eating it that way since I was a kid. Nothing better on a hot day...

See you midweek.
Ordered a Hardcore Hammer last month. Haven't used it yet but this thing is well made. Iove how they send you a Band-Aid in the box. 😂

Awesome video, this humidity need to go, along with the storms. That was a pretty cool natural shelter.
