Great stuff. I just gave this a spin on the Loops build (PR109164).
Got a similar result by plugging an Add node (with 1 in the bottom field) into the Serial Loop Output and then feeding it back into the top socket of the Add node via the Serial Loop Input

What bugs me is I don't know where or how I was ever going to figure out on my own how to do the trick with scene time into random value into mesh primitive cube node. I needed that a few months ago.
